No, she confirmed that her and Cara's personalities don't mesh. That's not being a follower, that's just not liking someone.

Well we haven’t seen this season and Sylvia did say some bullying will happen in the future and obviously didn’t say who. If she already doesn’t like someone bc they don’t mesh well then it’s easier to go on the sub/retweet/like route
If her and Cara have an actual argument/altercation then i'll eat my words otherwise right now it just looks like Sylvia is going the extra mile because her friends dont like Cara. Which would fit the definition of being a follower.
to the people who are using Cara being partnered with Marie as an example of her not being a production fav: Giving her Marie was a great way to insure she would go far. Marie is well connected politically, and by teaming Cara up with a girl it would mitigate the target on her back from being the last champion.

having Marie as a partner and Cara being a production favourite seem like two things that really have nothing to do with each other to me. Marie has tanked on every challenge she’s been on minus vendettas where she literally quit the elim ( just like dirty 30). Having kam as a vendetta would have made much more sense for a ‘production favourite’ since she’s well liked and KILLED her rookie season and the whole grenade thing.
Kam and Cara Maria would have bull dozed all the other girls in dailies/ elims but with Marie as a partner Cara Maria actually stood to leave fairly early ( statistically, based on previous challenge performances)

As far as taking the target off her back, giving her a seemingly not so good partner just makes her easier to get rid off.
Obviously they did reach the final so Marie showed up and out this season. But going off of previous seasons, that wasnt something they would have expected.

So if production really is playing favourites, why would they give them not so good partners? Sylvia was making it seem like production helps them which doesnt explain their partners, which is a big deciding factor on how far they can get.
Maybe they didnt want them to win again especially straight seasons counting champs vs starss for CT despite being their favs.
