Serious question for you Celtics fan. Your team did finish Philly off in 5. However, at times they did show signs of struggle. What Lebron just did the raptors, you’re not just a bit scared?. You guys really think you stand a chance against the cavs?. Especially with the way the Cleaveland bench is finally starting to show up. Kevin Love was on fire against the raptors.
My personal takes
Scared? No, even if we get swept its an overachievement too make it this far without Kyrie and Horford so not scared.
Stand a chance? Definitely. The Celtics have the number 1 defense in the league and the best coach. Never count a Brad Stevems team out, especially against a weaker Cavs team. Be interesting to see if the other Cavs can keep it up against the Celtics defense

First of all, Duke sucks...but I'm happy we have Tatum and Kyrie. GO WOLFPACK!
I consider everything from this point bonus territory. Do I expect us to beat Lebron (notice I didn't say Cavs, lol) without our two best players? Probably not, but this is great experience for our young guys and you don't know what is going to happen until you play the games.
Jayson Tatum is going to be a superstar. He might be already. It's so ridiculous to draft a kid like that when the Celtics were already so good. Damn, the future looks bright. Especially with a probable lottery pick next year.

lol. Traded down to get him too
We don't know the full story on Fultz, but this is starting to look like one of the biggest draft heists in NBA history. There was no question last night, Tatum was the best player on the floor. Yup, even better than the best of all time.
BTW: As much as I love my C's I think I'll keep with the new tradition (NFL thread) of making the logo the league champ starting with these finals. It might be a tough year, but I believe it will be remedied soon enough.

Between that trade and the Kyrie trade that has to go down as probably the greatest summer of trades ever. Even the Averey Bradley for Marcus Morris and Aaron Baynes turned out well

The Morris brothers are mentoring Tatum off the court (not sure if that is actually good, lol but at least he is getting some grit) and Baynes is the core of our D, defending the rim. Very happy with our trades. In Ainge we trust.

You guys are making me want to cheer the Celtics on. Lol
This young Celtics team in the playoffs is starting to look like a story from a movie.
come to the dark side. We have cookies!!
The nerves have surfaced
LETS GOOO
Wow what a first quarter
We HAVE******* to keep this momentum up. One little slip up and the Cavs will go on a run and be back in it.
love my boys but we’re notorious in giving up leads
Boston has me SHOOK right now
Whatta game
WOOHOO!!!!! LET'S GOOOOOOO. Only one game but a very very good game

**** JR
such a dirty move
At least Smart got up in his face. He was a beast last night.
I was a cautious believer at first, but damn the Celtics are looking good right now.
i think last night proved that only one player can do so much when the other team actually plays together so well as a unit.
i have a love/hate relationship with Smart but last night showed why he's such an asset to the Celtics. Loved his intensity in the 2nd half.
going to be a dogfight in Cleveland. We haven't done so well on the road.

Soooooo how are we all feeling after last night’s loss?
*****
We beat them in quarters 2-4 while playing like shit.
We'll take game 5 at home, despite the refs.
DO NOT get me started on those ******* refs.
