The more the tasks are based on strength and quick-twitch athleticism, the more they favor men. Females do better in overall endurance challenges (see the sitting down on ice challenge in the first Battle of the Sexes or even Cara vs. Hunter in the side challenge thing at Universal Studios in Florida) and challenges which come down to listening and following directions (don't mean in a sexist way in that women are meant to follow orders, just mean that women are better at listening than men). It's not rocket science.

I think Rookies (both genders) get around 1-5k just for being on and then get paid weekly for every week they survive. Kenny said that Bananas gets around 60k. CT probably gets around the same (maybe even more). I think usually everyone else gets paid based off how many seasons they've done previously but the cast members they really want would be able to negotiate higher.

Cara and Nicole went the whole season without getting sent into elimination. Women are good at manipulating the game too, they just did it without being in the Troika themselves. And that is annoying, because then MTV spends all their time on the guys making decisions.

Yikes. When the format lends itself to the bigger and more athletic players, of course men will "do it better". They were given a leg up on the women before the show even started. It's not a matter of "manipulating the game". When the format, the editing and the vast majority of viewers are in favour of the guys, there's no conversation to be had on whose gameplay is better, because gameplay isn't even a factor at that point. The women have to scrape and claw their way to the top every time. And when they happen to make game moves, it's either edited out (like with Marie this past season) or edited to make them look like snakes (like with Sarah and Cara) whereas guys get edits like Tony for doing **** all.
Like I said...If the women were so good at manipulating they'd be running the game alot more than they do on a regular basis. Make any excuse you want but the fact of the matter is the women aren't as good at it. Period. Yes they were at a disadvantage in Vendettas but as was pointed out they could've easily had more manipualtion and influece had they just spoke the **** up and not have the men run everything in the times that they didn't need to preform to be in the troika. You can't put that on editing or whatever. On top of that there have been several formats allowed women to manipualte and they didn't do it(Although some tried) while the men did. You missed the point of what I said. It's not about manipulation or gameplay, when the men are given an advantage in the game from the start. You can ignore that, and the editing that women get, as much as you want. But that's really what it comes down to. The men on the show are, and have always been, encouraged to make certain moves for the sake of the game and for their own entertainment, whereas when women do it, they're treated like shit and made to look crazy. And in some cases, never asked back.
The only format that I can remember, where women had direct and unadulterated influence on which guys were sent in, was Rivals 2.
Maybe you've never been close enough to a woman to put yourself in the position of one.

I do think the show/producers are sexist at times but most viewers are sexist too. Viewers love dragging girls for being ****** so producers are going to show them hooking up. It's just how society is unfortunately. In terms of the troika there were numerous times where the girls could have fought more to be in it but let Bananas, Tony and others strong arm them out easily. They barely fought to be in it so the blame is on them for the most part.
Also in terms of pay CT and Bananas are far more popular than the girls so obviously they'll get a lot more than the regular girls. I think if girls like Coral, Nany, Svetlana did 15 challenges in a row and were "popular" they'd be getting around the same.

You can ignore that, and the editing that women get, as much as you want. But that's really what it comes down to.
