Nany was always on seasons with pretty great houses, I don't think that was the reason.
I mean, the only season that was terrible was The Island. The Island was a ******* nightmare. I think that scared off or nearly scared off a lot of people. I would be pissed if I signed up for the Challenge and wasn't even being given enough food to not be hungry or maintain my weight.

Not to mention several castmembers new and old have came out and said that these shows nowadays are basically a prison. They don't have running water, they're fed basically shit, Hell they didn't even have air conditioning on Rivals 2 and they were in a location that was hot as **** and There's a bunch of other shit you don't see. The challenge LOOKS like a fun vacation but it's really not. It's just a pretty looking prison.
