Yeah because if Veronica was on redemption she is going to pick a girl she made fun behind her back for months over Shane (if he is in redemption too) a guy that she has been friends with for over 10 years.
She would if she was cutthroat and wanted to go against a team they would probably beat. But you’re right, Veronica would probably pick Shane and Nelson and lose.
If it works like the first redemption why not saved yourself and your closest allied? Instead of a girl that has proven to be a flip flopper and a snake with a partner that is not that great either. Assuming those are the 4 teams in redemption (not confirmed by any means) then the easy choise ia going against a girl/girl team or saving your closest allied that is loyal to you.
that is how I would play it, I assume if Veronica and CT are there and they get the double cross they would choose Shane and Nelson because of the Veronica/Shane relationship.

I guess if they team that pulls the double cross is safe even if they lose it makes sense to pick a close ally. If they change it up then no.
