You don't need to be aggressive and physical to be racist? Racist people can go their whole lives without getting physical, doesn't make them any less racist.
There is no right way to say *****... so don't say it all. But don't call someone racist because you don't like how it's being used because I'm sure if you were standing next to some white guy and black guy talking and the white one called the black one a ***** and the black one didn't react you guys wouldn't call him a racist but bottom line is that shouldn't be happening. I'm guilty of this so that's why I don't throw stones at her or anyone who says that because we've allowed it.
I think it was weird how production handled that situation. Imo, Camila should've been sent home for that. Slapping someone like Tonya did to Veronica, which she got sent home for, is no worse than saying insensitive racial slurs and neither should be tolarated.

right? So when a white person says ***** clamly to another black person they know are they racist? Because from what I've been witnessing they are not until it's "aggressive"...
Racist are those ************* in Charlottesville. That's racism. Like let's keep it alllllll the way 100! We love to throw this word racist around a lot because let's take a poll. How many of y'all posting right now that she's racist who are not black use the N-word freely? Call anyone even us ****** like we gave you that privilege? Because I could call y'all racist. So when people wanna jump and say this person is racist especially black people saying that bye. Because when it's someone you know or a friend saying "what good my *****" it's nothing. It's a "oh whats poppin my *****" but as soon as ***** is used is "improperly" you're racist. Like byeeeeeee so all this Camila is racist is extra to me because we've allowed that word to be used and "accepted" when it's convenient for us. Now tonight it wasn't and we mad??? About what? Be the change y'all speak of.
I am not black and I would/have never used that term. I just spoke about this 2 weekends ago when another person should not have used that term and almost got kicked out of a bar because I stuck up for what I believed. If you think everyone on this board is using this word religiously than you might be in the wrong spot.
Please google the word racist before you want to label people like that. Like please.
drunk or sober shouldn't excuse somebody from using derogatory terms and it seems like MTV seemed to have sugar coated it as much as possible due to cast members referencing her saying worse things
Because a lot of you guys in general are so quick to call people racist and judge and just last week I heard about some y'all trying to accuse someone of being racist over some shit y'all got started. Like let's be real. On an edited tv show. K.
but what does it show everyone when she is bouncing back and forth from "sorry" "the ***** is back" "sorry again" "here comes the camilinator hurr" "I'm so sorry!"
the point is inconsistency, and when it's inconsistency with ones mentality and how they treat others and themselves then they clearly need help.
We will NOT refer to other users on this site using racial slurs. Final Warnings will be handed out like candy if that's how we want to play. Try me and Ban Requests will be initiated.

i hardly post, but on this occasion..yes I can say she is racist lol

Is not about "aggressive", is about the intention. Using a word with no ill intention is very different then using it to hurt someone, since the latter have a lot of implication and thought behind it that actually has to do with your judgment and opinion about others and/or topic. However, I do agree that certain words shouldn't be said, period, but those two scenarios you mentioned are very different, imo.
badladjj wrote:I don't condone racism at all but I really don't think Camila is racist. I really don't. This is the first time she's ever done anything like this that I know of. She majorly ****** up though by doing this but you live and you learn. She has a drinking problem and when she drinks she gets very belligerent. From my experiences and seeing other people who drink a lot, when you lash out at someone like that it's because you simply don't like them and you are trying to cut them down. So you say what you know will hurt them the most. I know from experience but that didn't make me what I did it made me aware of what happens when I drink and how I need to not do that and even though I may not like that person to still treat them with respect because words do hurt. I didn't watch the episode but I'm sure the next morning she felt like shit and wished she could take it back. Furthermore, apologizing is not easy either because who really wants to admit to a **** up THAT BIG?!?!?! It's the worst feeling everrrrrrrrrrrr! I'm not making excuses for her but I do feel bad for her. I hope the best for her ❤️Yall can drag me now lol
Drunk words are sober thoughts.
I mean not all the time but okay. I'm gonna be honest as someone who spent the last 5-6 months of their lives flatout drunk 3-4 nights a week it gets the best of you. I spent all those nights fighting to the point I pulled a knife out on someone. I did what she did with someone too. Said some very ****** up shit and I didn't mean it but like you will say anything to make that person react and you feel like shit the next day and it's hard. I didn't apologize to him for like a week. Because in my mind I did nothing wrong but I really knew I did but like I'm not the one to apologize I've always I had a hard time with that. Bottom line is she needs help and critizing her now is not gonna help the case. So Tori's post was kinda lame. Like get help but let me let everyone know she's been crazy since I met her 7 years ago? And imo Tori treated her like trash.
and this right here is what an apologetic actually is @Graphik

imo it doesnt matter about intention. if youre not blaxk don't say it. period point blank.

if hip hop culture were exclusively black like it effectively used to be, this would be valid.

Yeah I agree 100% that's why I said "However, I do agree that certain words shouldn't be said, period" I was just talking about a specific scenario mentioned and how they are different.

hip hop culture and the n word are not mutually exculsive.

No , I can't...3 weeks or so ago she was still saying on live and Twitter that she loved Camila. She is fake af

Imagine going this hard for Camila
People talking about "forgive her, she's drunk"
but what does it show everyone when she is bouncing back and forth from "sorry" "the ***** is back" "sorry again" "here comes the camilinator hurr" "I'm so sorry!"

Im not going hard but like y'all have opinions I have mine and who said we all have to agree. Because I don't.
yeah no biggie, I respect your opinion even though I don't agree. But that's the good thing about civil conversations
I don't think Camila is racist and I'll leave it at that. Agree or disagree but that's my opinion.

Like we can have a discussion but whoever said that 4 letter word....NOT COOL.
Sent that person a Final Warning already.
