And whatever conversation some of y'all having right now, don't start that shit tonight. Just end the conversation, it don't need to be any debating about it.
challengermary wrote:You don't need to be aggressive and physical to be racist? Racist people can go their whole lives without getting physical, doesn't make them any less racist.
right? So when a white person says ***** clamly to another black person they know are they racist? Because from what I've been witnessing they are not until it's "aggressive"...
Is not about "aggressive", is about the intention. Using a word with no ill intention is very different then using it to hurt someone, since the latter have a lot of implication and thought behind it that actually has to do with your judgment and opinion about others and/or topic. However, I do agree that certain words shouldn't be said, period, but those two scenarios you mentioned are very different, imo.
imo it doesnt matter about intention. if youre not blaxk don't say it. period point blank.
Yeah I agree 100% that's why I said "However, I do agree that certain words shouldn't be said, period" I was just talking about a specific scenario mentioned.
i appologize for misunderstanding your comment. i agree that certain words are always off limits.
The fact that they cast that trash on another ******* season right after this too? But Nia too dangerous......CeeJai too dangerous.......Jason too dangerous......OK. It's alllllll good.

I ain't even seen the shit & I literally had to get up and start walking around just from y'all comments lmaooooooooooLeroy & Nelson better than me.......they are SO much better than me.

this is why i said earlier in the night i am very grateful that they didnt give them anything to work with on the editting floor. you know if they had reacted angrily the edit we saw on TV would have been much different than what was actually shown.
I just think that a conversation about appropriate times to use the N word is just not even relevent. The fact of the matter is that Camila definitely should've not been saying it. She was using it as an insult, it's not like Mike on Bad Blood or something where it's up for debate depending on what you're comfortable with. She was attacking Leroy for his race and nothing else, so to say that she isn't at least slightly racist... yeah.
Would love to see an unedited version solely to see how much worse this was. Watched with my mom who has never seen this show and she was appalled by Camila
People saying she's drunk, being drunk doesn't make you a racist suddenly. Being drunk exposes the racist you always were inside.
If you start saying racist shit while drunk your true feelings are coming to light, what goes through your head is now coming out of your mouth. Alcohol doesn't create that.
The fact that they cast that trash on another ******* season right after this too? But Nia too dangerous......CeeJai too dangerous.......Jason too dangerous......OK. It's alllllll good.
I mean 2 out of three listed were homophobic, but that's another argument
Ugh, don't want to jump into this vipers nest but again some poitns to be made. Using the word and ending it with a gga or gger makes a difference. It is sounding like Camila used the latter. On top of that, someone who has grown up in an environm, ent where the gga word is used in a simillair context as the word dude/friend/homie/bro's intent is absolutly not the same as using it as a word of slander. Yes there are some White people and others who can get away with saying the gga, they have usually grown up in a environemt with Black people that use it and it is ingrained in their culture and used as a term of endearment.
Saying this word to tear someone down, out of spite, and or to attack is not cool. It is an act of ill intent meant to inflcit emotional harm pruly driven by attacking ones race. When Camila screams it and brings up Leroy being black and dirty, its used in a very bad way, a racially motivated way. mAybe she isn't a die hard KKK card carrying racist but she clearly showed that she isn't against using a racists methods to acheive her goal of hurting another person. Maybe that makes her better than a flat out racist but it still as **** doesn't make her a good or respectable person.
I myself am Black and I never use any form of the N word. I hate the word that ends with the hard er deeply, I undesrtand that many people died probably with that word being the last thing they heard on this earth. I don't like gga ending of the term either, I personlly wish people woudln't use it but I also understand that many many people have grown up with it being a vital part of their everyday vernacular and its asking a lot of them to demand that they just suddently stop saying it.
With that understanding here are the rules. If you are not Black, you don't say it. The only exceptions being that you grew up in a culture with Black people where it was acceptable and even then you need to be very careful how you use it. Is it fair that Black people can say it openly in most cases and not be scolded for it? Technically, no. Should you be overly concerned about that? No. If I could trade a broken history for an entire race of people in the Unitied States for the inablitly to not say one word tha'ts not part of my everyday culture anyway, that's a trade I will make every day.
The fact that they cast that trash on another ******* season right after this too? But Nia too dangerous......CeeJai too dangerous.......Jason too dangerous......OK. It's alllllll good.

Yeah because this is not the time to try to start no bullshit with me right now. Let me vent & let me get it out so I can go back to normal.
I also understand why Jemmeye seemed wishy washy with Camila after this episode. I would have been the same and not been able to hide my hatred just because of my contact to prevent spoilers.
She has always talked shit about Camila since rivals 2 behind her back it wasn't after this stuff with Leroy.... She is a two face. She always tried to makes team subtitled happened and try to milk it. The moment fans turned on Camila she finally does it publicly despite doing it for years behind her back.
She was two face with Nany, Diem, Jonna, Cara, Camila and the list goes on.

if hip hop culture were exclusively black like it effectively used to be, this would be valid. unfortunately it's not.
hip hop culture and the n word are not mutually
exculsive.
um no ****** shit? Was this supposed to be intelligible?
This is exactly why it's acceptable for a non-black person to say the n word ****. Can't allow non-black persons to engage in a culture where that word is common vocabulary and then turn around say well it shouldn't be said at all or they can't say it.
I just think that a conversation about appropriate times to use the N word is just not even relevent. The fact of the matter is that Camila definitely should've not been saying it. agreed. She may not dislike people of color but she feels a certain way about them. If she didn't she would have NEVER brought up the color of his skin. Jordan never brought up Nias skin. Brad never brought up Darrels skin. And those two fights were worse than this one. Camila deserves to be banned and let's all be happy that she is

And immediately gets bent out of shape when somebody calls her fake. She is not a good person either.

Wait, pause is that the real reason why Darrell punched him?
But it's SO good & in divine timing that Nia/Toya/Simone/Tyara weren't present because I could only imagine.... Especially how Nia can go from 0 - 1000 & the fact that Leroy is like a brother to her.......we already saw Simone don't have problems picking up a bottle either lol that trash ***** better get on her knees & thank her master Satan that there wasn't a sista girl in sight.

Even if you grew up in a culture with black people if you aren't black you shouldn't say it. It's an innapropriate word no matter the -er or the -a ending. No matter the intention if you actually care about your friends you respect them enough not to use a word that was used to supress their ancestors for centuries.

THIS. Jemmye acted like she was going to do a camilinator challenge when she knew **** well what this ***** said during filming. Jemmye does things for people to give her positive attention. She tried to drag Cara for years after bloodlines and saw her in person and shut her little mouth up. Jemmye may be funny and provide good commentary but she's fake and a *****.

No I'm saying that Brad did NOT bring up Darrels skin color. If you are arguing with someone you don't bring up the color of their skin period.
This conversation is bullshit no one should use certain words, in any context. If you choose to... then you may want to search yourself because you might be an *******. Entertaining racism, homophobia, or religious persecution is disgusting.

The best thing about this was according to Veronica, CAMILA was the one claiming racism because she was asked to leave when a big guy got in her face

What did Tori say about Camila years ago?
Jemmye is just starved for attention she'll say anything to get people to notice her.

Jemmye is still fake af and always have been.
