the first one? thats been out 3 years thought that's cool to talk about loooool. But that isnt spoilers for the one that's out now, the ending/start only connect the movies not give away any plot details because you dont know what's up until you see it hehe Biggrin

***** that was most definitely a huge spoiler... you just revealed the literal ending of the movie? are you dumb? even if you dont say how that's still a huge spoiler

Have you even seen the movie??? The ending gives away nothing but connectivity between the franchise. Not plot, characters, or anything that would effect anything in your viewing of either movie. Boy bye.

Unpopular opinion but I thought IT sucked :/

Anabelle Creation was great tho

I need some type of comedy to come out. I haven't seen anything good this year

IT was more funny than scary so you'll get your fix soon.

i agree with HT, he didn't give away anything serious. Sure he "gave away the literal ending of the movie" but y'all already know the ending of the movie bc it's literally the beginning of the first. The REAL ending of Annabelle Creation is what happens BEFORE that final scene.

This happens every year, there is always one or two horror films that everyone loses their shit over just because they're a little less shitty compared to the usual garbage we're used to from the genre.

i have seen it and i still would not have revealed that. it's a fun little surprise that no one was expecting? just cause you didn't say how it happens doesn't mean it's still not spoiling one of the ending surprises

IT was so scary and shockingly hilarious.

It Comes at Night was fantastic. Get Out was good...that's about it for this year so far.

Aronofsky's "Mother" looks fantastic, I can't wait to see it.

I'm still mad!

I thought Get Out was 2016, but it's 2017. Great movie, I'll agree with you there. Regardless, that was months ago so of course we're not talking about that movie right now when there's new ones that came out since. Did you see IT/Annabelle 2?

I never asked anyone to talk about anything, I was just stating my opinion.

No, nor will I ever (at least in Annabelle's case), based on the trailers and the directors involved, I'm pretty confident that they will be average at best, in my book.

well you said you see no talk of the good ones, so.. I was just saying, based on your list of "good ones" that no wonder were not talking about them - one of them has been out for months now... We're talking about the new ones now

Well yeah, that's after it was insinuated that IT and Anabelle were good, which I highly doubt. And even then, me saying that doesn't mean I'm asking you to talk about anything lol...

Eddie and Richie on IT were ICONIC. I loved their goofy *****.

..."So like is this clown only seen from virgins cause I haven't seen him"

*As the kids enter pennywise's house* "You're lucky we didn't measure wang sizes otherwise I wouldn't have drawn the short straw"

IT was so scary and shockingly hilarious.

i wouldn't say "so" scary but it was really ******* good for a horror movie!! one of the best big budget horror movies i've seen in a looooong time

the bathroom scene in IT is one of my favourite horror movie scenes ever... creepy, incredibly gory, and just completely jaw-dropping. excellent set piece and moment in the movie

Aronofsky's "Mother" looks fantastic, I can't wait to see it.

i'm confused because it's not being advertised as such, but based on the latest trailer, it looks a whole lot like a backdoor remake of Rosemary's Baby (which we didn't really need seeing as they did a tv remake with Zoe Saldana like two years ago)

Mother looks bad but it's gonna sell bc Jennifer Lawrence

Zzzzzz at Jennifer

I mean Annabelle was just average, not great. But it was a lot better than the first Annabelle that came out. Same with Ouija, the follow up was a lot better than the first movie. IMO, horror movies have gotten better now compared to the days of horrible Asian horror remakes that kept coming out after the Ring or also the tired found footage/ Paranormal activity era.

BLADE RUNNER 2049. I'm in love.

That out of the way, I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone expecting a $150 million (reported cost) Hollywood blockbuster. This is an arthouse film on a grand scale that clocks in at almost 3 hours.  If you thought the first one was boring, add 40 minutes and slow the pace down...

Ryan Gosling was an interesting choice for the role, he doesn't seem like an action star to me.

Anyways-- I heard it's getting rave reviews.

I'm not surprised 2017 has been a slow year for the box office. The summer had little to no movies and nothing seems to be original, it's only sequels, reboots, or bad movies. Thor, Justice Leauge, and Star Wars will round the year out with a bang though.

FYI I heard a big rumor that Star Wars will drop a new trailer monday during football like they did for Episode 7.

I don't want to give anything away other than to say this is not an action movie as it was marketed. It is thoughtful, introspective and prodding.  Gosling was actually well cast.

Interesting looking at the original and seeing the the ads for this one. I googled some reviews but the first thing that popped up was that it's a box office nightmare only getting an estimated $13 million this weekend.
