yep meanwhile Spurs just paid 50 million for their backup PG while the other teams out West added superstars. Not liking the offseason moves so far but we will see how the rest plays out.
George and Butler going West just made the East even easier for LeBron. Supposedly PG wants to go to the Lakers in the offseason too. Why would LeBron leave the East when it just got weaker for him?
This is a bit sad though like this era of super teams. What happen to loyalty to your squad ?. Hayward could be the face of the franchise in Utah. He's about to leave it for a team that already has a main star in Boston. Makes me respect guys like Westbrook even more who stayed in okc.
The Wizards/Celtics rivalry is gonna disappear this season because they got Hayward and we have to match the 106 mil offer for Otto Porter. feelsbadman was a good rivalry in the leastern conference
What's crazy is the Celtics are set to have 3 first round picks next year with two of them (Lakers,Nets) potential lottery picks. I see a dynasty rising. Tatum and Brown (2017 & 2016 #3 picks) are looking great in summer league and the addition of Hayward has made the Celtics big winners in the off season.
The Cavs still might be kings in the east, but their claim to the throne has grown weaker. Especially with the Celtics getting the #1 east seed in a rebuilding year. It's only going to get tougher for them going forward.
I will become a bandwagon Celtics fan if they get Gordon Hayward
