He didn't beat Shane & Cory...that's nonsense. He shockingly outsmarted them but that's not an elimination win. Nor it is it a loss. Just like Shane doesn't get an elimination win for the puzzle. Hunter took his loss (as did Jenna) for finishing last. Nelson didn't impress at all in the eliminations aside from using Cory and Shane against each other. If you'd rather have Nelson on your team that's fine. I'll take Hunter and beat you. Beating Dario & Anthony isn't much more impressive than Preston or Jay. No clue who Nate is--he must have been on Rivals 3. Dario is unathletic and stupid. I have no idea what to make of Anthony.I mean, if we're going to start calling what Nelson did this season "impressive" then the show has become a complete joke.I'll give you average with the ability to above average but saying "AT LEAST an above average competitor" is laughable because you're hinting at greatness...which he can't obtain or spell. Probably can't define it either. At least he can go back to "managing the strippers"
Im done talking to stupid
What has Dario or Anthony done. Preston made it further than either...as did Jay. I think both are jokes but so is Dario. And again--Anthony did what? They're better than Danny Dias, Nick Brown and Jon Brennan but Jay, Nate & Preston is a weird list...you must be new to the show
I think you're letting your dislike for Nelson get in the way though. Most of what you said is right but you hate is blinding you when it comes to this final. Hunter is good but Nelson isnt as bad as you make him. He's in great shape, he could win a final especially if he has a smart partner. He's dumb but not as dumb as Cory, I mean he at least solved that last puzzle. He's honestly doing the best out of the guys in this final and I think he deserves credit for that.

Hunter is a great competitor but he hasn't shown much this season at all compared to Nelson. Honestly if you review the entire season Nelson stood out more as a competitor and showed how great he is on many different levels than Hunter. Hunter is great but what has he really done better than Nelson? Also you said Dario is dumb and not athletic . I agree he's dumb when it comes to the game but I'm he is athletic for sure.
He's dumb about everything--not just the game. He's not athletic. Hunter is a much better athlete. Hunter did better on the first two mission, Hunter didn't compete in the third mission but outperformed him, Hunter did better on the height one where four people went at a time (can't think of the name of it), Hunter did better on the endurance one with the food, Hunter did better at pretty much everything. When didn't he? The one were Shane took out pretty much everyone including Hunter? That would be it. Hunter > Nelson and I thought I'd like Nelson and hate Hunter. Both are morons though. To say Nelson stood out more is absolutely laughable if not stupid.
I wonder what Nelson has to do to be considered a good competitor to some idiots... beat Darrell and Bananas? Im sure even then they would find reasons to say he still sucks
I agree. In my eyes beating those two would make him a great competetior which no one has called him. He's a good player that could win a final under the right circumstances.

I don't hate Nelson. He's just not this competitor people here are suddenly claiming because he didn't flop on the final. Saying he needs a smart partner to win a final is my point. I said, if it was a true individual final I'd want him there. And, yes, he's not as dumb as Cory--Cory's the dumbest person ever to be on the show--wel, maybe Nicole. Him & CT are about equal on the final. I give him credit for that but he wasn't impressive during missions and doesn't have impressive elimination wins. He didn't pick the elimination or the opponent but he still didn't impress. I said he has potential but right now he's average--and we're grading on a scale. In the golden era, he'd be Laterrian-esque
sippin bout Queen ashley w the 5 min penalty but still ******* it up. She gonna show everyone again.
She's been the most impressive in the final so far. I wish it was truly individual though. I would have loved to have seen her and Camila go head to head. Nicole, Cory & Nelson are utterly useless.
I wouldn't say Nelson is useless, he is actually performing the best out of all the males so far. I think he's shown that he can potentially win a final.
Umm...how? Sure, he could win a final if someone solves puzzles for him I suppose. On a team challenge I'd keep him around if I could trust him not to do something completely stupid. If I was sure it would be a legit individual final I'd keep him & Cory around as layups.
Sure he got lucky to have Ashley as a partner for the puzzle bit but he's killing every other part of the final when it comes to strength, endurance, eating, etc. and he's pretty decent at puzzles, obviously not as good as Ashley and some of the others. Honestly I can't see him being used as a layup after this season at all. Nelson is hands down one of the better underdogs this season and proved himself before Dario, Tony & Cory who were on paper the "better underdogs".
Being better than Cory, Tony & Dario doesn't impress me. Hunter & Shane were better than him...as was every champion. I might take Anthony over him as well despite the rigged elimination round. Pretty sure Nelson still hasn't figured out how to move the cage.
The fact you said that is why no one takes your opinions seriously. I'm not saying Nelson is the best but if anything Nelson & Shane are the only male underdogs who proved themselves this season, all the other guys were all talk most of the time and thought no one can stop them then end up losing.
Nelson hasn't proved anything He was the worst underdog on daily missions and wasn't that good on eliminations so far..He outsmarted Cory and Nelson but that was the ONLY impressive thing He did so far
Btw whats the tea that they calling me a prostitute on the brain candy podcast because of my username on here? LolI was just send that on my PM and that they were dragging Kailah BF/Making fun of Jenna/Plus, Sarah still being pressed about Nia.
ill rewatch their commentary for the challenge to see what they said. I don't remember them saying that
I was told it was the Jenna/Amanda/Hunter elimination episode
**** at someone being called stupid because they bring up facts.
O yay. The other Nelson hater has arrived. Aren't you a Cory fan? Yikes. Rough episode for ya boy..... It is pretty simple. Nelson has been good this final outside the puzzle. I think we can all agree on that right? Ok good.
I wouldn't know. I got caught up with other things, so I haven't been able to watch the episode.
Good in the finale.... But where else has he been good? I'll wait.

Nelson made it before Hunter on the first challenge. It's hard to count the other challenges to say either is better individually because it was mostly team challenges and Shane carried the entire team but when it came to individual competitons Nelson did better than Hunter on the first challenge & the bloodbath (which were the only individual challenges they both competed in together). I do think Hunter is a better competitor but Nelson has proved himself more. I can tell you dislike Nelson but you're not giving him the proper credit he deserves as a competitor, I mean he's nowhere near Bananas or Darrell's level but he's one of the best underdogs. You speak on Hunter as if he's as good as Bananas or Darrell.
I wouldn't know. I got caught up with other things, so I haven't been able to watch the episode.Good in the finale.... But where else has he been good? I'll wait.[/quote]
Eliminations or he would not be here right now....... He is a good competitor. No one is saying he is great. Yah he did not do great at dailies this season but he has proven himself in eliminations and so far in the final besides the puzzles. All we want is for him to get the respect he deserves and not act like he is Danny or Ty or whoever you view as a horrible competitor. He also showed some strategic chops at the beginning of the season in making the majority alliance with a side deal with cory.
Getting sick of being told I'm from Reddit cause I defend Jenna. I like Jenna because Jenna is cool, and a great competitor, and I think she is a role model for everyone. Just because I support Jenna doesn't mean I'm wrong. ✌✌✌

It doesn't matter if he won eliminations. Who he beats and how he beats them matters more than just saying he can beat people. It may be an excuse to you, but say, for example, Danny beat Bananas in something stupid, it wouldn't make the former a better competitor. You're just saying he's good because he beat two mediocre competitors, who I would have definitely seen Nelzzzon beating in anything. If he goes up against Darrell and Bananas in something like, Hall Brawl, beats them with ease, I'll admit he's a good competitor.

Brandon Nelson won 3/4 eliminations on one season(cutthroat) does it make him a great competitor?
