well they are athletes. i think it's safe to say you would have to have a grounded following of the sport for each of them to know who they are. for example i didn't know any of the NFL players but i know Lolo Jones cuz i like Track and Field.
in terms of being a celebrity all of them are C to D Level except perhaps CM Punk.

MTV most likely couldn't get Miz and Punk on the same show due to Miz having a busy road schedule and the situation with WWE and Punk. There is no way WWE is promoting anything with Punk's name on it.
But im happy punk is on it. Miz would've been a great add too.

Depend who it is. You aren't gonna have a big name person agree to lose to a small name person easily. Theres a lot of politics involved back stage. Google The Kliq and/or the Montreal Screwjob if you want to read some of it. I have no clue if it's still the same nowadays but this was back during wrestling's prime(at least for me anyways). I stopped watching after invasion.
