True but the outcome will still be the same, low ratings and no new viewers. They've shot themselves in the foot and I do not think theres any recovering.
I disagre, I think this can be succesfuul and bring in more viewers for season 30 and beyond. They could have done better with the "pros" but CM Punk has a huge fan base so people will tune in forsure. Merriman was a star in the NFL too. This wont flop as long as the normal challenge people watch (like what, 800K) and they can add a new 200K? One million total hasnt been seen since probably free agents or exes 2.

Pole wrestle and Hall Brawl are still the games from what I believe to be the best eliminations ever.
Derrick and Wes on the Duel (pole wrestle) and Zach vs CJ BOTS 2 (hall brawl) are my 2 of my all time favorites

Some of the people could have been better I think. They could have easily got football players who were bigger names imo
