I understand the need for regulars and pleasing the casuals but when you have the same people over and over again it becomes stale. It's the same storylines and the same commentary. Have a few regulars that are rotated, bring in a few new people, bring in a few in to please the casuals, and a few to please the diehard fans. It's frustrating because there is a lot of potential but MTV is such an awfully ran network, like it's atrocious when you look at the programming especially if you grew up watching it in the glory days.

Everyone knew Johnny would be back. Evelyn was a bit surprising just because there were no expectations for Fresh Meat. Ryan & Evelyn...along with Cara...got lucky they got a second chance but Johnny was a given as long as he wanted to do another one. Just like Danny J was a lock to come back...so was Ace. Not everyone is Nate or Priscilla. Hell, even Bruno is unfortunately likely to return despite being one & done in his first challenge

Unfortunately Seasons tanked in ratings and they've played it safe ever since. Most of these new guys as proven by Cory's success despite his inability to comprehend the politics of the game or do well in competitions. Hopefully someone (Nelson, Hunter or Dario) show something soon because Tony is a joke in terms of competition.

It was Seasons that he complained about because he gloated over the ratings...your memory sucks. Also, they could have easily done an "Old School Real World" team if they wanted him. They wouldn't have had any issue with that. Could have been Alton, Johnny, Trishelle and Cameran/Robin/Paula/Aneesa/etc
I'm all for Bananas not being on a season but they stopped casting old-schoolers that would have enabled him to sit out so now we're going to see him until he decides he doesn't want to do one or the show ends. If Seasons would have done decently we wouldn't have this issue but that seasons was cast horribly and this is the result. Blame production for prior mistakes forcing them to have Johnny on ever season.
Any rumors on theme? I know it won't happen but I'm still praying for a big team challenge. Cutthroat would be ideal but I'll take a Ruins or Gauntlet in a heartbeat.
