I think movies are scarier in the theaters than at home. I've never watched a horror movie in the dark alone before but I have during the day time lol

Try watching the Exorcist or Conjuring 2 in the complete dark around 3am (the witching hour) in the morning.  See if this doesn't scare you lol.

Conjuring 2 had me going through some things..

There's a really good thriller on Netflix called "The Invitation". WATCH IT! A little predictable, but such an intense horror/thriller

I really liked this movie. It was sorta predictable. But also made you keep thinking what the **** is going on with all these people. Something was a little off to say the least lol.

A really freaky horror movie, which I don't think gets enough credit, just my personal opinion, is The Haunting in Connecticut.  Also, I know it was said before, but It Follows was chilling.

I JUST SAW GET OUT! HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!! Soooooooo goooddd!!!!!! The entire theater was cracking up and screaming at the same time. Society never talks about how black people feel when they walk in white neighborhoods and this film is necessary in America today

Wait so I've been hearing it's also funny. I want a straight up scary movie. I don't mind a few jokes thrown in, but not a comedy/horror hybrid.

I wouldn't call it a comedy horror hybrid because that insinuates that it's equal parts horror and jokes. The TSA Officer (can't remember his name) provides comedic relief when the movie gets intense. 70% thriller 20% comedy 10% gore. I think my only issue with the film is that about 45 minutes into it you can kind of guess what's going to happen and what the twist is. There are still a bunch of intense moments to keep you on your toes

agree 100% I wanna go see it againnnnn

AHHHHHH finally saw Get Out. I can't.

So good.

People still watch movies?Television and longform storytelling or bounce.

That's pretty much how I feel.

There is so much symbolism about race in that film. Like when they were having the modern-day slave auction and when the maid's white lady wig fell off revealing her natural hair. I think everyone should see this film, especially blacks and whites. The message of "just because youre invited, doesnt mean youre welcome" is something that every black person has felt before.

Seeing it again tonight.

I still am shook how good it was. I expected the ending twist though someone even called it on YouTube comments but I was still in shock.

SPOILERS.

My jaw dropped when the ***** had the keys in her fingers the whole time. I KNEW and suspected her someone even called it on a comment on YouTube before the movie came out but I started believing she was innocent when she defended him with the cops. Ugh. When he found the pics of her and all her bfs and the girl I was gooooone. And I was ******* freaking out when the cop car came at the end and the ***** started saying help and thought he was about to get arrested ugh imagine that being the ending. But I liked how they did that. They added another sly prejudice thing with the cop car and the girl hurt yelling for help making us think some shit was about to happen but it ended up being the guys friend. All in all. AMAAAAZING movie.

just found out they filmed Saw 8 (Saw: Legacy) last November and it comes out this October. Annoyed that they are continuing the franchise after they already made it come full circle with the last one... but its been so long since the last one that I can't help but be a little excited to see what sort of twisted stuff they came up with during those years away haha

looks AMAZING

Yaaaaas! I'm gonna be sad though watching Carrie Sad

The opening scene of Pirates 5 was a bit of a tearjerker, especially if you loved the Will/Elizabeth storyline from the original trilogy. ❤️

I love the original movie and have been excited about this adaptation since I found out Leslie Odom Jr was in it. <3

Watched The Bye Bye Man last night and idk. Crazy movie but a lot of questions left unanswered. I hate that. But it gave me Oculus vibes.

... but oculus was a good movie lol

Excuse my language but transformers 5 was complete ******* shit. Felt obligated to watch because I liked the first one so much and 4 wasn't that bad in my eyes. However 5 I have nothing good to say about it!. Only maybe good thing is the hints at the bumblebee spinoff movie that's coming soon.
