Recently the men have controlled a lot of the challenges. Back in the daybthe women ran the show. Coral, Veronica and Susie are the best examples. Jenn had more control then people acknowledge as well. Fresh Meat 2 was supposedly Wes vs Kenny but it was Jenn that had all the power

The males bring nothing to the show. More so the new age males. They're followers and mindless zombies to the veteran men. The women are the only ones willing to call people out and make waves in the competition.
Ashley made Cory throw in Thomas (his closest ally), Nicole made the choices on her team also, Devyn also made moves on Free Agents. Nia pushed for Leroy to make moves but he was a puss.

They havent even debuted on the challenge yet (at least Sylvia) i don't know the others. The males might be followers but females dont hold the power like Coral, Veronica, etc had back in the day, even then they didn't have total control like the boys do.

Dario was the one who sent his "alliance" under the bus, Nicole only went along. Devyn was just lucky that the draw never got her and she was a layup for the final that is no moves in my opinion. Nia sure that one can be argued but in the end she didn't even had the power of her own faith on the team. Exes 2 Wes was running things while Theresa was laying back and watching.

Any other situation the male dominates the game, you might think that they have no personality or don't bring the drama that girls do but they definetely dominate the challenge. The problem with the female side is that they care more about casting loud girls who completely "ghost" off into their partners back when its time to take over or call the shots.

Not sure why you're focused on partnerships. Jenn controlled the entire season on Free Agents without needing to win missions. Susie ran G3 & The Ruins. Veronica ran everything she was on after The Gauntlet until The Ruins. Coral ran shit. The lack of team challenges has minimized how much control women can have. At least obvious control.
Also, Johanna pretty much ran G3 for the rookies. You don't have to be an elite competitor to have control. Coral and Veronica proved that from the beginning.
