i think power rangers is gonna bomb tbh... that shit died like 15 years ago
It died that's why its japanese counterpart just celebrated 2000 episodes and there are almost over 900 usa episodes. Next>>>>>They should've invited some of the old school actors though for cameos.
im just sayin I havent heard a single kid be insterested in power ranges since like the early 2000s... i didn't know it was still a thing till you guys started fanboying about it

Is this movie really going for "Critically Acclaim" or just be a cash cow vechicle for children toys and other stuff?

Both, It has been on for 23 plus years and not as racists as Sausage Party and as so far the toys for the new movie look like shit. I wanna see what the megazord/dinozords looks like though before I decide to give a look/invest
just finished watching 2001: A Space Odyssey... have been meaning to watch it for so long now. What a film! Visually stunning (was this seriously made in the 60s?), had me ****** up 75% of the time, but also kept me interesting and thinking throughout 100% of it. Kubrick is seriously a visionary. Clockwork is still my favourite but this was definitely up there with his best! I really gotta watch Full Metal Jacket though!!

So I saw blair witch....and it literally was the same film from 1999 just with more ********* and more cameras to show off the stupidity from different angles.
And I also heard there's gonna be a remake of suspiria ??!!??!! WoW that's a dagger straight to the heart, this news actually hurt my feelings, why do they have to do that to suspiria, an untouchable masterpiece.

wow, I didn't believe you at first but it looks like you're right that's a stupid idea. its okay to remake i know what you did last summer and other cookie cutter horror movies but Suspiria? It should be law that only bad movies are aloud to be remade

I have recently watched lights out, and it wasn't as good as I've expected it to be. Here are some of the issues I had with the film:
The acting was on and off, and in the kid's case it was just terrible.
They set up rules that they don't follow whatsoever, for example it is said that the entity disappears on light, well then how come she's able to turn off some sources of light and not others, how come she's even able to turn off the light, period. How come at times she disappears when the light is flashed towards her and at other times it burns her, nothing makes sense.
What's the goal of this "ghost" ? What the hell does it want ? It is pretty apparent that "Diana" wants to kill these people and she made that clear by continuously attacking them, then where the **** was she when there are wide open opportunities to kill every single character ? Oh...she's sitting around making ridiculous noises, or stands in the dark doing nothing.
There are way too many ******* jumpscares in this film, wayyyy too many, and it just becomes extremly annoying. I'm sorry but that is not scary, in fact I don't even recall jumping, all of them were pretty expected.
The "characters" if you can even call them that are just a bunch of ******* idiots, retards, some of their decisions are absurd. For example, the mother p***es a note to her daughter and it says "help me", and what does the daughter do ? Nothing, she goes to sleep, I was under the impression that she was in danger or was held hostage, what was even the point of that scene. The main "characters" in the film know that they have to stay in the light to survive, but since we're dealing with a bunch of intelligent snowflakes, they decide to point the light in front of them instead of above their heads. And how come nobody decided to just say "**** this, I'm out" because I'm pretty sure that's what a sane person would do.
The dialogue is so cringeworthy at times: there's a scene where Rebecca meets this woman for the first time and withing seconds she says something like "stepfather not my father. my father abandoned me" What the **** ? Who even says that ? There's also a scene where the annoying kid runs from his mother's house and goes to his sister's and the first thing he says "its getting worse", he says it in such a cringey way that I just wanted to yell "eww go away". There's another scene where the kid asks his sister if they're gonna die and she's like "no we're fighters" wow, is this the best thing the writers could come up with?
And whatever backstory they tried to give Diana fell flat on its ***, I couldn't care less about it.
With all of that being said, this wasn't a terrible film such as the strangers or the gallows or ******* annabelle, there were some parts I liked such as the lights on, lights off scenes, therefore I'm giving this film a score of 5/10
It definitely doesn't need to exist, and I don't understand the hype for the life of me.

ooh i like jumpscares! waiting patiently for this to go online
"its a cheap gimmick used in horror movies and not a proper way to actually scare someone" - probs DF
I don't see anything wrong with them! i love when my heart skips a beat from a jolt in the music and a creepy image onscreen haha that's why i like the some of the PA movies

same!!! The Marked Ones was half decent though... especially for a spin off. But PA 4&5 were just straight up terrible

I wasn't listening to him because he hates all jump scare movies, but i was saying damn to the thought of it being to similar to the original. Which i kinda figured after seeing a few of the trailers. After seeing the movie i can say it was decent. Ik it would never live up to my expectations though after loving the 1st movie so much. They do dig deeper into the mythology of the Blair Witch which i really liked because I always thought the storyline they created was interesting. Overall i thought they left us with more questions than answers & I wouldn't be shocked if they do more sequels similar to what PA did.

Also regardless to what DF says all horror fans should see this movie & form their own opinion on the new Blair Witch.
I'm sorry but what did y'all expect the Blair witch reboot to be like? They should have never touched the idea of remaking that as it was unnecessary and unwanted
Jump scares are ok only if it's a few. Scenes that actuallygenuinely scare you shouldn't require jump scares. Scary imagery, sound, story, uneasy feeling and a lot of other elements should.

It'll be the latter.
The only Full Metal that matters is Alchemist.

Blair WItch 3 was awful no character development either.
Did you really expect character development in this type of a movie lol?
I'm sorry but what did y'all expect the Blair witch reboot to be like? They should have never touched the idea of remaking that as it was unnecessary and unwanted
in a way yes. Sorry but that is no excuse.
I have just seen "Enemy" and holy shit is it a damn masterpiece. I absolutely adore films that challenge my mind, and this one did just that. 9.5/10
Only go and see this film, if you're an ENORMOUS fan of cinema.
