Anyone get a chance to see Rob Zombies new movie "31" last night?? I missed it & now have to wait until VOD or October to see it. I was wondering if it was any good or not.

i have not seen it but i have seen enough Zombie movies to know it will have rape (he has a weird fetish where he cannot make a movie without throwing a little rape in for good measure) Redneck family + throw in a few ***** every ten words and these are the secret ingredients to his "success" i have seen the trailer it looks like the purge meets house of 1000 corpses nothing i would rush to see at least from what was shown from the trailer. but when it said "from horror master mind Rob Zombie" i did get a good chuckle, Him and Eli Roth should both team up and make one really bad film together so they can both disappear forever and stop disgracing such a prestigious title like "Mastermind of Horror" none of them have done anything to further originally in horror which only leads to more cookie cutter gore fests and the sad truth is, if you were to say that such names as: Rob Zombie, Eli Roth and James Wan have been some of the most relevant names in the last ten years you wouldn't be lying it just goes to show the state Horror has been in since the 90s i really hope it bounces back but with all the success Blumhouse movies I seriously doubt it ever will.
Carnage...where have you been this whole time ? Finally someone with a decent taste, I mean seriously who even would want to go see any Rob Zombie film anymore.

considering it was crowd funded not the studios lol

I am such a big horror fan I give all movies a chance. But I agree the trailer for 31 definitely reminded me of house of 1000 corpses. Also i would never put Rob Zombie & Eli Roth in the same category as James Wan. A lot of people aren't a fan of Blumhouse productions, but I give them props for making a killing in the box office on their small budget films.
saw Don't Breathe tonight!! it was so good!! definitely more of a thriller but had me on the edge of my seat soooo many times haha... only downside of the movie was how many times they had opportunities to escape only to have something else keep them from leaving. like it was okay the first 5 times but after that it was just like "come onnnnn" haha but I still loved it!! some pretty ****** up moments

i will definitely be watching. it will be dreadful but i must just so I'll be able to say what I didn't like about it usually shitty horror movies don't make my blood boil i even find some enjoyment out of some like the night of the demons films just for how cheesy they're but in rob zombies case. He's so bad yet doesn't know it he dares calls himself a mastermind of horror without doing anything ground breaking what so ever so how the **** are you a mastermind of horror that would be like me taking cheese and dipping it into peanut butter than thinking i just changed the cheese industry forever i didn't do anything ground breaking i took two things that already existed and added them together mastermind right? No I probably made the cheese industry worse for ever thinking that was a good ******* idea i swear rob zombie fans have brain damage from bopping their head back and forth to "living dead girl" they wouldn't even watch his films if he wasn't a musician prior it was one thing for Dario Argento to force his daughter into a nude scene but its another for Rob Zombie to force his wife in every movie he makes it was traumatic for his daughter but watching Zombie's wife try and act is Traumatic for me! He should just direct her in a ***** he clearly has some cuckold fantasy since every scene she's in there's always guys who want to **** her she might even have some luck with that but she is never going to be a successful actress so please stop trying. And I'm not sure what you mean by big horror fan I'm not sure if you're implying "true horror fans" would give his movies a chance since that's entirely subjective but imo Blumhouse doesn't make films for "true horror movies" they make them for teenagers who probably wouldn't even consider themselves horror fans who just want to see jump scares and have fun with their friends theres a reason why most of them are PG 13 I don't do popcorn flicks theres a few Blumhouse movies that stand out but the majority of them are shit it has nothing to do with them being low budget i get nervous when ever i see a horror movie I'm interested in have a budget over 40 millions dollars the majority of the time they tend to go ******** when the studios throws a bunch of movie at them of course i would rather see people do more with less than the complete opposite! I will say I'm semi excited about Halloween being associated with Blumhouse because they tend to push out sequels rather quick and i will give you that james wan is miles better than zombie and roth but i would still rather associate him with them than put him in the category of "master of horror" like bloody disgusting believes he should be in lights out was decent the ending holds it back though thats really the best they could come up with? It was so anticlimactic and cliche i was pretty satisfied with it other than that also since you are a zombie fan could you tell me what happened at the end of Halloween II i still don't understand it my brain went numb from the rest of the film so I didn't quite catch what he was going for

yeah, the only reason i force my self to watch his shit is because some times watching your favourite genre be butchered is the greatest horror story of them all.

I am not really that big of a fan of Zombie even know I have seen most of his movies. I liked House of 1000 Corpses & the first Halloween, but the ending of the second Halloween ruined that movie for me. I am not sure what he was going for there. When I say I am big horror fan I mean I watch almost everything that comes out in the horror genre. Even if I don't like the director or writer I still usually give the movie a chance. I am pretty sure James Wan didn't have anything to do with the writing of Lights Out. He just saw the short film by David Sandberg liked it so much he decided to help this guy make his movie & just served as a producer on this film.
The things I read in this thread, it always amazes me...wow.
I am just going to go ahead & say it. You truly are a weird *** mother ******. At first it was cool you had jokes or whatever. But now I understand you honestly think everyone should have the same exact opinion as you or that person in your mind is considered dumb. How the hell old are you anyway to always be acting so childish??

yass!Rangers better work.
i think power rangers is gonna bomb tbh... that shit died like 15 years ago
I think it'll be a financial success, but I'm fully expecting it to bomb critically.
What have you done to it ? What have you done to its eyes ? What have you done to him you MANIACS !!!!
It died that's why its japanese counterpart just celebrated 2000 episodes and there are almost over 900 usa episodes. Next>>>>>
They should've invited some of the old school actors though for cameos.
Traitor! You have no hope.
