I'm not judging.

Would you consider Almost Famous as a RomCom?

no.. more of a 'coming of age' movie

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Her and some more I can't remember rn

when harry met sally, sleepless in seattle, say anything..., notting hill, sixteen candles, pretty in pink, never been kissed, forgetting sarah marshall, love actually, 13 going on 30, and silver linings

read this book last summer. as a book it wasn't that great... writing felt sloppy similarly to gone girl (maybe a bit worse), but also similarly to gone girl i knew it would make an awesome thriller movie. looks pretty good imo

Oh okay. I thought that too. How about Paris, Je T'aime? cause if so, then that'll be my favorite Rom Com, if not, than 50 First Dates.

Also, what do y'all think of Mr.Robot?

I don't get why people act like it was a secret when they just simply just changed the name; the plot was online for a hot minute.

Anxiously awaiting new info on F13, jeepers creepers 3 and Halloween from them. BD get on it! Smile

saw Ghostbusters and The Secret Life of Pets.. both were fairly good but definitely could have been better. Ghostbusters was a lot better than anticipated tbqh.. i found the four girls all had great chemistry like the original boys and their jokes played off one another great. it was definitely a fun movie with a very simple plot and a basic tv movie villain, but whatever i had a good time watching it.. can't believe the amount of hate it got before its release though. jesus keyboard warriors are mean. TSLOP was also really good but the plot was kind of random and parts of it were pretty dark (like a gang of abandoned pets trying to get revenge on their previous owners by killing them? i thought this was a kids movie lol). Still it had some hilarious moments and they did a lot with the little quirks animals have.. Zootopia was definitely better, but this was also pretty good.

I feel like making a list of my favorite found footage films, ones that are actually scary and have a legit story to tell...so yeah, here it is lol:

The Tunnel (2011)

Australian horror film, one of if not the most underrated found footage style film of all time. This movie is so freaking good, it's very realistic, and the characters are blessed with this amazing way of thinking a.k.a logic (although there are some silly moments, but nothing that serious). The film is very creative as well, it does things you would never see in any other found footage film. It has a great build up and a satisfying ending, what more could you ask for? Oh and it's shot documentary style.

The Curse/Noroi (2005)

This IS MY favorite found footage film of all time, And I would easily rank it as one of my favorite films of all time. It's a japanese film shot in the form of a documentary, that's all you need to know because seeing this epic, frightening, suspensful, mind crushing movie without knowing a thing about it is the best way to approach it and appreciate it. Oh, and it's a slow burner.

The Bay (2012)

This films is bae asf. What I like the most about this one is that it has a scientific factor in it and most of it is actually correct. It also has a very unique story to tell, I don't think I have ever watched a film similar to this one so it's very original. It does have some dumb moments but the good overshadow the bad by a huge gap.

Lake Mungo (2008)

Holy crap is this film admirable! This is as well shot in documentary style (wow a lot of them are great aren't they), it's very thought provoking and smart, it's as realistic as you can get when it comes to horror films, and it's very well acted. One word to describe this film is: macabre.

Exhibit A (2007)

I wouldn't necessarily call this a horror film (even though it is listed as one). It's more of a character study and a realistic family drama that slowly turns domestic and disturbing. It's like the witch without a witch. It's pretty good.

The Conspiracy (2012)

Another realistically represented horror film, and this time it tells the terrors in our world. This is such an incredulous story that I think everyone should get to see.

These six films are the first to pop in my head, they are all tremendously phenomenal. They prove that being taken on a thrill ride through story regardless of the amount of blood splatter is the best kind of scary films....Although, The bay is pretty gory.

Lights out was decent...

Any of those movies on Netflix DF? Do you know lol?

I think the tunnel, lake mungo, the bay and the conspiracy all are. But you can view any of these films easily anywhere on the internet. I actually watched the tunnel and noroi for the first time on youtube.

No [•REC] DF? It's actually one of my favorite found footage films and thought it was pretty scary.

You know damn well I love REC so much, but I was only listing the not so well known films.

I agree about REC, those movies are my shit!

Nerve was good ya'll and I didn't know Dave Franco had all that. He needs to get him a SO and fast.

Lake Mungo is always mentioned at ONTD, I need to check it out.

YASSS for Japan making it on your list. They make good movies but the ones that come out here in the West are whitefied or dumb down. I have a feeling Akira, Ghost in the Shell and the Pokemon LA movie will all be the same thing as last decade. Damn shame.

Dark Fights have you seen Sadako vs. Kayako aka The Ring versus The Grudge? Or how about Battle Royale?
