Wrong, Jonna took out Emilee doesn't necessarily make them rivals, a elimination win against someone doesn't really scream any sort of Rival. But I do know Emily expressed she didn't like Paula on Cutthroat I believe.

and everyone keeps saying MTV is trying to make Jenna happen, it looks like their trying to make Thomas happen. he sucked on exes and bloodlines and he isn't the most interesting either

I have no problem with the theme. I mean, it could have been pushed for later; but ultimately, its whatever. It's just the pairs/teams I have issues with.
Anyone could easily tell there was no effort put into this season.
Why does it matter if people complain? We all know that there are things BMP and MTV could do that could save this franchise that they ignore... Let's be honest, the past 3 seasons of the challenge have been sloppy as ****. Only thing they seem to be doing right on is Real World. Clearly they need to change some shit to see if they could gain those older viewers back. MTV is tragic...

Everyone loves Leroy, so I guess they have to stretch (until they pair him and Wes). I also think Nany had better male rivals than Wes but they like to pair her with a major male cast member, Frank is done with challenges, and they didn't want to repeat bananas, and they threw her cousin with the twin.

She was still the weakest link on their elimination. Thomas didnt get to perform.
I feel like I'm one of the few people who doesn't care about the partners and is just hoping for good challenges and eliminations.
I do like when teams have history and a backstory to them, but I feel like whoever gets paired with each other, they're going to have their ups and downs and it's going to create a dynamic for future challenges.

at least the Nate/Priscilla stretch was right after the season so I understand them doing that to get sd people on. the Cooke/cara, and all of leroys rivals are stretches except Adam r who was there for one challenge

Well It's one thing to not be able to get castmembers because they decline but it's another to have actual castmembers that want to get on but constatnly get ignored for dumb reasons.
Has it occurred to anyone that maybe they stretched the teams because they have no choice? Bunim Murray has to run these things by MTV who pretty much make the final decision. MTV probably wanted Rivals 3 and they searched for great pairs but most declined so this is what we got.
