How is having Bananas, Nany, Leroy, Camila, Sarah and Wes on for the 80th time in a row change lmao. The only thing that has changed is them replacing the actual heart of the show with people who come on and can't even make much of an impact considering the obvious winners lmao

Sarah and Wes have made impacts. Their appearance on the show has made it difficult for the former to win. The others you mentioned just suck several loads out of Bananas' *** hole - which is sad, considering Nany has what it takes to get that win for herself.

But I feel like Sarah has had your time and played out storyline. And Wes, I love him but he can't win shit anymore. Like Rivals III will be a downgraded version of Exes 2 with Bananas edging out Wes again. I doubt many rookies will make an impact. I see many of them getting the Rianna edit. And only a couple really doing something. The same people will be capatalized on and all the attention. It's just bad.

Casual fans make up majority of the viewers. They're the same people who don't know who KellyAnne and Abram are lol.

Girl bye! They knew them and love them now. Just like they did before. So next.

And Blue, if you've seen older seasons than you aren't a casual viewer either and mtv doesn't care about you. You are just considered to be "Vevmo" like PinkRose says. So they don't want your dusty view either!

No most of them didn't know who they were. I'm sure some like them now.

I never said I was a casual viewer... But MTV does care about the target demographic (13-18 I think?) so I'm sure they want all the views they can get from my age group, including mine.

So why when they showed Abram in the previewes people were so excited about him coming back? I'll wait.

A lot of "casual fans" are long time fans too. I'm sure there's a good majority who just started watching around Rivals II or recently. But actually a lot of people remember and recognize old schoolers

This show has been on since like 1998? I'm sure there are a lot of people who watched back then that don't anymore. But a lot of people still do. Even people who picked up the show in the late 2000s would know who a lot of old schoolers are. The people who actually got me into this show are those who have watched since around the beginning.

Maybe MTV's demographic is a lower age than the people who have been watching since the beginning but that doesn't mean that a lot of adults/long time viewers do not watch the show. Idk why people act like this is a new TV show that only High School kids watch lol

That's what I'm thinking. I have a feeling they're all going to be ignored by the camera in favor of the Bananas/Wes rivalry.

Salty fan? Try disappointed fan. You can change but the right way. This is not change, it's trash. And bloodlines has showed that.

Wasnt it PR who said the reaction to Abe coming back was a bunch of "who?" on social media. I don't think most people were excited to see him back on the previews since most casual viewers don't know who he is considering he hasn't been on TV for like 4/5 years. Casual viewers were way more excited to see Zach and CT who have managed to maintain their relevance by appearing very regularly.

KellyAnne isn't love that much now tho.

And most of relevant/casual fan faves (Bananas, sarah, Wes, Nany...) are cast this season.  Die hard fans will stop watching this, not casuals.

Honey there is no such thing as a casual viewer. And they need to wake up and realize this.

Like sometimes I hate I ran V1 off the site because he needs to come back and drag some of y'all lol

But like him I will start my boycotting mission. So have fun watching this mess.

I'll have to double check but I think mtv is 12-24.

Yes there is... They're the same ones who comment "Zach and Jenna <3" and "Is CT on this challenge?" on every challenge post.

If you knew anything about Vevmo, I'm pretty sure a good majority of the people on here are in their early to late twenties. So even if it was 18-34 or 12-24, we would fit into their "demographic".

I'm glad Explosion has had a fair share of representation, I just hopr Vegas III has it too. And Get Skeletons and St. Thomas up there.

Thats called a high school/middle schooler.

I think St.Thomas' time is over sadly. Maybe Marie or LaToya will pull a KellyAnne in the future but I don't see them coming back anytime soon. I'd rather them focus on Portland, Explosion, Skeletons, Vegas 3, Bloodlines, and AYTO?

Agreed. Ex-Plosion needs some new representation from the girls side of things. I'm fine with Thomas and Cory, but the former does nothing tbh. We need Sylvia/Violetta/Bruno and Trey/LaToya to come in.

Even so, they're more interested in generating new fans than keeping the old ones.

A boycott wouldn't do shit....  don't watch if you don't want too but don't act like one person not watching is going to make a difference.

this season sounds bad but i thought the same thing about exes 2 preseason but it was great.  This season has a lot of shit but I'm probably going to still watch as long as there are people I like on it.

And let's not forget, when MTV changed its demographic what happened? The ratings drop for all there shows but at this point Teen Mom. And that's because Teen Mom is a show for older viewers and younger viewers. The people who started watching those girls and still are, are much older now and they are still watching. Because that show never lost its message and heart.

When The Challenge catered to all age demographics and cast old school, middle school, and new school it did great. The last season to really do that was Exes. Then Seasons did newbies and the ratings dropped badly. Then Rivals II had majority newbies and like a handful of old schoolers and the ratings were still decent and so when they did FA and changed it to even more to majority new schoolers and less old schoolers the show dropped in ratings drastically and since then it hasn't gotten any better but actually worst.

Therefore, this new demographic, the casual fans, are hurting the show. And it only can only go on for so long. Like this show is too expensive to make for half *** ratings. Eventually it'll play out sooner than later.

MTV's decline in viewership has nothing to do with casting for the challenge lol. More so the end of other shows on the channel that brought in lots of viewers.

Some of the people I feel should/should have been used

Tony (2), Sylvia (0), Violetta (0), Bruno (0), Marie (1), Latoya (1), Trey (2), Robb (2), Jamie (0), Ashley (1), Jay (1), Jenny (0), Cory (2), Brian (0), Averey (2), Jordan (3), Johnny R (3), Nia (2), Marlon (1), CJ (2), Ayiiia (1), Cooke (1), Adam R (1), Dustin (4), Frank (3), KellyAnne (4), Mike (0), Ashley L (0), Greg (0),  Scott (0), Ryan (0) Ryan (0) etc.

meanwhile..

The people who are used every season

Bananas (13), Aneesa (11), CT (11), Wes (10), Sarah (9), Camila (8), Leroy (7), Nany -6

But how they can cast someone if they keep declining?

I'm lazy and overwehlmed, can someone quickly do a review for me on hookups and drama?

But how they can cast someone if they keep declining?

Right? *****.

I'm lazy and overwehlmed, can someone quickly do a review for me on hookups and drama?

From what we've heard...

simone vs Ashley

Jamie & Ashley hook up

Nathan & Nicole hook up

Tony hooks up with someone

Devin & Camila hook up

Not everyone wants to do every challenge or any challenges for that matter. You saw what happened on Seasons 2 when there wasn't a lot of fan favorite people and a bunch of newbies. They show markets the people that do these time and time again to get their fans to watch the show. Bananas, Leroy, Sarah, Camila, Nany, CT...all bring in viewers. Jenna, Reilly, Jessica, Cory...are all on their way as regulars and building fan bases

Marlon Robb Ryan Jamie  Jordan Cooke ashley mike Latoya and frank aren't interested. The reason we see people like Bananas & Aneesa so much is because they actually say yes to being on the show..... unlike most of the people who you listed.
