If Red doesn't throw the next challenge and pray Rihanna pulls off a miracle against Cara they're dumb. All non-Abe/Cara teams should be working to get rid of both of those teams in the next two eliminations. Bananas shouldn't even be a target since Vince doesn't look like he has gas and they're still probably tough in an elimination. Take them to the final. If Corey, Mitch, or Anthony has cardio they should beat them.

no i thought it was funny too. i love thomas

I laughed that too, I like how it was edited. First we see crazy *** Abe and little Mike tries to be one too and then we see those dudes there like ***, ****.

I think both of the girls left on the red team fully know that Cara Maria would almost certainly beat them in any kind of elimination they could possibly make them face off with.  That means that 5 out of the 7 people on the red team wouldn't want to throw it and I doubt Bananas or Anthony want to **** their team off any more by losing on purpose.

abe had a point when he said "how you win is also important"

I was off on holiday last week, so I didn't get to review the double-header of episodes last week. But in seven episodes, this has grown to be one of my favorite seasons -- and I'm one of those people who are extra critical about my reality television.

Vinny watching the world burn

So here's why Bananas is a genius and Vinny's a tool

Let's just get it out of the way, Bananas' play last night ranks up there as one of the greatest plays in Challenge history. Right behind Wes owning Battle of the Exes 2 (until that swerved kicked him in the ****) and Kenny dismantling Wes & Evelyn's alliance on Fresh Meat 2. This is RIGHT THERE, I swear. Bananas knows that it's a guys day and with his last couple moves of sending formidable rookies home and pretty much sending a member of his alliance home, he's enemy #1. There's no way he's making it through the week without him or Vinny seeing an elimination round. With that, he decides to break the "TELL ABRAM THAT CARA MARIA IS CHEATING ON HIM" gl*** as a last ditch effort to save his ***.

This is a very delicate situation because Abe's nuts. That and Abe hates Bananas' entire being, from his skin to enamel on his teeth. Everything. So who better to handle this situation (in a bucket hat, because he's doing work) than Vinny. Already in seven episodes, Vinny has become more useful than the Dunbar Wrench in the Challenge tool set.

Aneesa & Stephen are about to witness a murder

Anyone find it weird that Aneesa was hanging out with Cara Maria? Don't they secretly hate each other? For no other reason than Aneesa thinks she's annoying? She really tries to play both sides, huh? They're LITERALLY in the middle of conspiring against Johnny Bananas. Anyway, Abram approaching Stephen and Cara Maria might be one of the most chilling moments of the episode. Stephen did the right thing by lying, because his skull would've flew off the balcony right into the pool.

The Bus Ride From ****

At this point of the episode, I'm imagining Abram has slept all night with dreams of setting Stephen on fire in his sleep and dancing Gangnam style around his charred carc***. Brianna's in the back of the bus trying to eat her apple and get any sort of sustenance to perform on this **** show, Rianna's making sure a seat warm for anyone important who may want to sit, and Kelly Anne's cousin is just...there, and suddenly all of their lives are in danger because the bus commandeered by a lunatic who once scraped his feces against the wall of a jail cell. It's like summer camp, but your counselor is Charles Manson.

The build of awkwardness and intensity just continues as he gets more and more insane. Abram wants to expose that Thomas and Stephen don't have Cara Maria's back, and he does it in the most public, awkward way possible that gives the twins no choice but to bail from their alliance because of a "secret m***ages".

This is literal the first commercial break of the episode. BMP did a great job in not only rushing the previous two episodes for this New Year bomb s****, but in pacing this ******* insane episode.

I Stand By That Vinny Threw The Challenge

Alright, this challenge was one that we've seen in the past -- probably over water, but now this one is 300 feet in the air on the edge of a skyscraper. Aneesa pretty much says **** that because it's not a girls day and she's not doing it, and Mitch does his best to be the hero and fails. It's...adorable?

I STAND BY THAT VINNY THREW THIS CHALLENGE, and here's why:

1 . Bananas has been known to strategically throw Challenges before. On Battle of the Exes with Camila, he threw the hook Challenge and allowed Sarah and (ironically) Vinny to win so he doesn't become a target too early.

2. The bus ride from **** pretty much confirmed that Abe would be voting in either Thomas or Stephen and in turn, Cara Maria would be forced to do so as well. This would be enough to turn the tides and get Thomas in by the bandwagon effect.

3. Vinny literally tried to get across by his arms. He could've did the proven way to win, but he literally tried the dumbest move of the entire game and failed. It would've been impressive if he made it across, but it showed that he wasn't taking this seriously in the least.

There's probably other reasons, but I feel like Bananas told Vinny to throw the Challenge or he just did so on his own. There was no urgency from Vinny to win, even if they were down. If he didn't throw it, he at least didn't even bother to try. Whether it was always going to be Abe vs. Thomas or Stephen vs. Mike, the point was for Bananas not to be voted in via Vinny by the team who hates Bananas in their entirety.

Kelly Anne killed his Challenge btw. I love that Cara Maria won so the rest of the competitors wouldn't have the chance to embarr*** himself.

Jenna & Brianna's twirling in the background while Abram goes crazy

LOL

Robin Thicke's The Evolution of Robin Thicke, Track 13

I tweeted that Abram was acting like he snorted the ENTIRE LINE of cocaine before this Challenge, and while that may or may not be his thing, that's what he acted like. I literally thought Abram was going to die via a heart attack or brain aneurysm or something. Maybe The Challenge doctors would've sent him home because of a bloody nose. This was great television.

Also, I think there needs to be a tutorial or cl*** on how to hold a sledgehammer.

The End Of The Episode Sad

The end of the episode is the greatest cliffhanger ever. Cara Maria wants to leave him but she can't. And then it leads directly to the after show, straight from Challenge life to real life. It's like breaking down the fourth wall, which is rarely ever done on reality shows. Seeing it transition from this almost-fantasy life where you're living on an island with 13 other strangers to just actual reality is bizarre, intense, and just so captivating. There was no music or MTV backtrack to try to portray any sort of feeling or something, it was just reality. This is real.

I don't like covering the after show still (Zuri Hall is fine and everything though), it's CRITICAL to watch, but the most important thing that was said is "If this is love, I don't want it."

This has already moved up to the scale to one of the best seasons in the franchise's history.

Cory should want to too. And all they need to do is tell either Aneesa or Jenna that the other one is going to go in.

YASS Meelz!

So people are really, honestly scared of Abe now? Has this NOT been his "character" since at least the first Inferno?

Well it was his character on SOME of his shows. I remember him being relativley calm on Sexes 2 and I don't recall him being crazy on the Island and Exes 1.

It wasn't bad for the guys but the scariest heights challenge has to be dangle drop on Duel 2. That was a huge (practically) freefall.

that was insane,  and people think falling a couple feet is scary.

OH MY GOD that aftershow was up there next to the hatefull eight and forrest gump. Im going full white girl i dont have words, i cant even

Would love to see a Red male elimination.  Dudes are beasts - Abe/Johnny/Cory/Anthony.  Haven't seen much from Anthony, but he's a construction worker, so he must be decent at worst.  Haven't seen Cory, but he looks like he can handle.  Kind of want to see what Anthony and Jaime have, because this season really hasn't showed much of any individual skill.  Last rope challenge and the leaping water challenge is really the only hard things we've seen so far.  Was happy to see Mike compete even though I didn't want him to go in... I'm an Abe fan.

that would require blue to win... haha they should change teams though

Great recap meelz

Just watched the Aftershow after begging my uncle to loan me his US acct and using vpn (wow im obsessed about the challenge *hangs head in shame*)

I actually still feel really bad for abram despite people saying how controlling he is...everyone knows he has a few screws loose and im actually really shocked he didnt just kill Thomas off the bat.

I dunno if those two will get back together since it seems Abram is more invested in CM than vice versa but I think he deserves something more.

Ewww! I don't! Glad Jillian beat that ***!

I remember that. That was a great episode! Jillian was like, "I can't wait to punch Mary Beth in the face." She w***o young then. And Abram actually got his *** beat. I w***hocked!

Yeah, Abram got his *** beat by Derrick! Like, I would too. Abe was about to get it in with Jillian! *****! "18 is such a great age!" Road Rules >>>

What when was this? I have to see it!

. Derrick gets drunk and opens up to Angela about his past, and she gives him advice for "getting his life on the right path". TheRoad Rules: South Pacific cast shows up and surprises the X-Treme cast members. They learn that the two casts will be competing in a series of face-off games. The first event is a relay race, in which every person must run one mile. The X-Treme cast, though with a rocky start from Derrick, wins this game. The second event involves one player from each cast entering a pen and trying to catch a chicken. The X-Treme cast starts off behind but eventually wins this event as well. At Angela's beckoning, Chris from South Pacific discusses Derrick's drinking and drug problems and offers him advice. The third event involves one player from each cast facing off against each other and breaking a row of boards as fast as possible using only their fists. The X-Treme cast wins this event too, due to Cara's inability to break the boards. Derrick starts avoiding drinking in an effort to make better choices. Patrick's flirting with Mary-Beth makes Jillian jealous.Jillian starts flirting with Abram in retaliation of Patrick's flirting with Mary-Beth, to which Abram is appreciative. The next event is for each player to drink 6 raw eggs as fast as possible. Jillian and Mary-Beth's dislike towards each other increases. South Pacific wins this event, their first one so far. The final event of the face-off consists of four boxing matches between the cast members from opposing teams, where the winner must either knock out their opponent or make them quit. Tina destroys Angela, causing Angela to break down. Derrick crushes Chris and causes his nose to bleed. Jillian and Mary-Beth's rivalry comes to a head in the match in which Jillian defeats Mary-Beth. Patrick's beat down causes Abram to quit. The X-Treme cast ends up winning the face-off and receiving $2,000 each. The cast bonds over their win and Jillian's feelings for Patrick deepen.

WUT!? They actually had those guys box? Amazing, they would never have the balls to do that these days.

This is one of the best episodes I've seen in a while.

I feel bad for Abram - it's been clear to me since Exes that he's way more into it than she is.

I think Cara Maria's wanted out of this relationship for some time, but felt sorta trapped since she'd been living w/Abe. I think she was hoping to win money on the challenge so she'd have the means to start over somewhere and her messing w/Tom on camera was her way of celebrating her newfound singleness and her way of making sure there's no going back.

Then all that came crashing down when Abram showed up.

I think Cara-Maria was initially drawn to and intrigued by him, but his jealousy/guilt-trips/wacky emotional reactions have driven her away, like it's too much for her, he's too intense for her. I think she feels sort of smothered by him and is craving someone a bit more laid back and normal (hence Thomas).

I don't think Abram's abusive towards her, though. He's aggressive towards Thomas and other guys, but never w/her (or any other female, as far as I've seen). He doesn't even yell at her, he just guilt-trips her and puts her on the spot and embarasses her w/his jealousy.

I don't think Abram is a bad guy, but I think it takes a special kind of girl to deal with his intensity. He's an aquired taste.

This is the boxing episode, Derrick wupps *** and and Abe crumbles. Abe doesn't seem like the best fighter if we get technical but he seems like the kind of guy who would try to gouge out your eye in the middle of it. (Now a days anyway)

In the side is the rest of the season

I finally watched this episode and few people are even relevant

Abram, Cara Maria, Bananas, Vince, Aneesa & Tom...and Tom was only relevant because of Cara/Abe

The only people that actually add anything are the old school people which tells us a ton about recent casting.  Hopefully Cory starts to make more of an impact now

**** yes. This season is getting good!

As far as I'm concerned, it's been getting better by the second since Abram joined.  I'm a bit bummed by all the hurt feelings around Abram and Cara.  But the drama is definitely there.  Abram was cutting Bananas to pieces until Bananas turned it all around.  I was kind of hoping Abram would see what Bananas was doing and get mad at him for it, but he was totally focused on Cara.

I've never given a **** about relationships in this show in general either & I don't like how it's basically the only reason Abe is even on this one when he's proven in just 2 episodes that he brings much more to the table than just relationship BS.

I kind of love Abram's craziness.  His over the top attitude at The Pit was priceless.

Bananas pulled a smart (although obvious) move.  You can hate him for it, but he's a good game player.  I think he was only waiting this long because he thought it would play out on its own with no blood on his hands.  But when it didn't, he kicked the ant-hill.  Looks like he got away with it.  No shit blew back on him from Abram.

Bananas is the only one with enough balls to call people out. There's no CT or Zach or Frank on this show, so be grateful for Bananas's presence.

the thing is. Bananas didn't even do it instead he sent his cousin who looked nervous as **** talking to abraham. I get abraham got a crazy reputation but **** he's not that intimidating that a guy like vince should be shitting his pants talking too.

It's a little more believable (not much, but a little) coming from Vince.  And by having Vince do it, they skated by without getting too much flak.

Exactly. She knew what she was doing.

Perhaps, but this is exactly why I don't like Aneesa on challenges.

I have never liked Bananas but he did what he should have done.  This is a game.

My only issue with him is being a hypocrite but Aneesa & others should have told Abe about Cara & Tom

No they shouldn't have. It's not their place to get in the middle of Cara and Abram's relationship. The only one that should've told Abram is Cara and if she doesn't tell him then she doesn't tell him.
