Why do you guys think Cara is some beast physically? She was thrown around by Emily on Exes 1, struggled with Jessica, sucked in Rampage, and was irrelevant in Crossover.
Jessica didn't score one point, i hardly think that's struggling. Cara had no strategy, was smaller, and just went straight hoping to get to the basket, and still shut Jess out. It's hard to say you struggled when you win 3-0 or whatever points was needed.
Plus the Cara in the recent challenges is like 10x stronger than the old one(from her early days and even against emily than), so it's like 2 different versions of her. Hate defending her becuase she makes it hard with her victim playing etc, but if she develops a political game she could start stacking up some W's real quick if laurel/Emily S don't come back. She will be a lot stronger than all the other girls who keep coming back.
Random note, i am fine with Nany doing the whole i am a vet now thing, becuase let's face it all the girls do that when they reach "vet" status, but she has to start winning eliminations or challenges or something to back up the entitlement she has developed. Cara hasn't won yet but she was winning tons of eliminations so she at least earned some of her talk about being a good competitor even without a win, like CT did as well. Nany has to start doing something. 2nd in Free agents was good, but against devyn 2nd was all but guaranteed at worst. Not her fault, but that's her best and only real accomplishment to date, a 2nd place..

Yeah, lets focus only on the weak times and lets forget all the good moments she have and form our opinions around this logic....
When has she proven herself to be strong physically?

Only because Jessica was stupid enough to throw the ball to the basket from a far. Other than that she hold her weight pretty good against Cara.

So that is where I think her mental part comes in - she was being a cry baby on Exes 1, relying on Abe in everything + Emily is def better than Cara in every way as a competitor; When going against Jessica she had this whole drama with Laurel going on, and Cara is bad at being an outcast just by herself, so she was not at her best mental state; On Rampage - I beleive physically she was good - she did not require help from Cooke to get on, but she was again an unfocused cry baby about her pads, which lead for wasting time and loosing by a hair.
I think Cara physically is in great shape and is very strong, but most challenges require a lot of other things that are mental to be great at too. Like focus, willpower, no fear, self-confidence, strategy, knowing what continent is finally... etc.

So if you sweep a team in the NBA finals, but all the games are close, you "struggled"? it's not her fault jessica is an idiot, and threw the ball and didn't user her size advantage and cara's bad strategy properly. Fighting to the score the points isnt the same as struggling. Jessica has horrible athleticism(my opinion), she probably hasn't shot a basketball in her life, doesn't appear very fast or agile, not cara's fault.
I don't think that's like a highlight for Cara to beat Jess, but i woudln't say she struggled. It was a fight to score each point, but she never was in any danger of losing the elimination. i don't count that as a struggle.
jess did keep fighting to make it hard to score the points(which i credit her for the effort), but Cara still won easily.

So you think having to work hard to win means struggling? if she has to work hard for a bit but never is in any danger to actually lose, i don't count that as struggling. Effort doesnt equal struggling. if it's back and forth with each person trading points and she pulls it off, i'd say yes. Cara on paper with her size and strategy was at a disadvantage against jess, still shut her out. NO struggle IMO.

Do you know how big is size difference between Nia and CM? Nia is like 6' girl, Cara Mara is 5'5. And Cara beat her in physically hard elimination round.
Can you tell me one more person, who can beat someone how is so much bigger then them? I do not understand how you can play these things down.

Jessica has horrible athleticism(my opinion), she probably hasn't shot a basketball in her life, doesn't appear very fast or agile, not cara's fault.I don't think that's like a highlight for Cara to beat Jess, but i woudln't say she struggled. It was a fight to score each point, but she never was in any danger of losing the elimination. i don't count that as a struggle.jess did keep fighting to make it hard to score the points(which i credit her for the effort), but Cara still won easily.
It was a fight for Cara to score each point that she did and was even stopped a couple of times but Cara still won easily? I don't think that's right.
She was never in any danger of losing the elimination. So yes. If you are stopped a couple times but also score, and the other person never scores, how can you lose? But you can have your opinion on it and i will have mine.
I never said she was in danger of losing. Like she struggled to beat Nia as well. Struggling doesn't = in danger of losing.
Do you know how big is size difference between Nia and CM? Nia is like 6' girl, Cara Mara is 5'5. And Cara beat her in physically hard elimination round. Can you tell me one more person, who can beat someone how is so much bigger then them? I do not understand how you can play these things down.
Their height didn't make a difference in this elimination round. All I know is Nia quit and Cara didn't so I give her credit for that.
Nia didn't quit..she couldn't move because the straps were to tight..she had no circulation for a couple of days & up till earlier this year..she still was having problems with her arm. But yeah, big ups to Cara...it was a good elimination though.
Don't know why this is always overlooked.
thank you. nia is a great competitor i hope she comes back on future challenges!

Jessica didn't score one point, i hardly think that's struggling. Cara had no strategy, was smaller, and just went straight hoping to get to the basket, and still shut Jess out. It's hard to say you struggled when you win 3-0 or whatever points was needed.Plus the Cara in the recent challenges is like 10x stronger than the old one(from her early days and even against emily than), so it's like 2 different versions of her. Hate defending her becuase she makes it hard with her victim playing etc, but if she develops a political game she could win a few of these in a row.
If you analyze the elimination it's not hard to see that Cara struggled to even score those points. She also was stopped a few times.

I understand why she had to but she let Cara pull her back towards the end so it's still giving up.

This was an elimination, where size, strength and willpower mattered. Same thing did Frank vs MJ on Gauntlet 3. MJ was bigger and probably stronger, Frank had to hang on and wait until the other person will get exhausted and give up basically. It was a good and deserved win for Cara as it was for Frank.
If I knew something is wrong with my arm, I would have quit too. Not gonna risk abilities to move my arm just to win one elimination. But Nia quit after 90 minutes tho, here I agree.
I cant wait until johnny is considered too OLD to be doing these shows. He's 32/33 and still doing these shows, but that most likely wont happen, the show would have to be cancelled in order for that to happen.
P.S hows it looking bc all the ratings are hovering around the 500k mark?

Cara said she had pain from bad straps as well, so to me it was evenly messed up, Cara won. Both competed hard though, so not taking away anything from either, but Cara beat her fair and square. It was equally flawed.
Nia made a technical error which was understandable for her first challenge. Cara Couldn't win with her own physical merit. She won because nia's straps were too tight and because Nia wasn't digging a hole in the sand like some dirty filthy ground hog that we all know Cara Maria was and is today. When you consider that Nia was winning 99% of the time with only her strength and the lack of need to exploit her environment-digging in sand- then that makes nias performance more impressive. Cara needed for Nia to make a rookie mistake in order to win. 10 to 1 that if Nia and Cara went at it again today for the next 10 rounds that nia would drag her hands down because she would be more aware of her surroundings and equipment.
nia had better athletic ability in looper. Cara was simply more experienced and probably had everyone coaching her which was expected after doing 7 challenges. That doesn't make her a better athlete though; It just makes her a more repetitive *** ho for doing so many damn challenges. Cara for lucky that she could cash in on nia's learning curve stage

Yes, "decent" smh. Okay.
Beating the flop after the flop gave up? I guess that counts as one showing of being physically good. You still have more proving the opposite though.
Only because Jessica was stupid enough to throw the ball to the basket from a far. Other than that she hold her weight pretty good against Cara.
If you analyze the elimination it's not hard to see that Cara struggled to even score those points. She also was stopped a few times.
Like focus, willpower, no fear, self-confidence, strategy, knowing what continent is finally... etc.
Don't.
I know the struggle

I think she failed to get up there a few times in Rampage but I do agree with the last part of what you said.
I never said she was in danger of losing. Like she struggled to beat Nia as well. Struggling doesn't = in danger of losing.
I never said she was in danger of losing. Like she struggled to beat Nia as well. Struggling doesn't = in danger of losing.
I am not even a cara fan either btw.
Eh semantics.
