I think one of the reasons most pairs don't make sense to a lot of people, including myself, is because either their rivalry hasn't aired yet or are from AYTO. For example, three pairs are from AYTO (no idea who they are). Four other pairs rivalry involve a season that hasn't aired yet (bloodlines). One of the pairs argument wasn't even aired (Thomas/Simone). That's 8 pairs right there with a huge question mark. So maybe the pairing aren't "that" bad, is just that we haven't seen most of those rivarlries. Even though I do think they could have done a better job with the vets pairing.
That being said, assuming the speculated pairs are true, I think Bananas/Sarah, Wes/Camila, and Jamie/KellyAnne are front runners but we haven't seen half of the cast compete yet so things could get interesting.
These pairings are stretched so thin that even God himself is questioning his all-knowing judgment.
And everybody is just accepting this shit, like "well they did the best they could with what they have".

Lol you definitely have a choice to not watch if you don't like it; you don't have to "accept" shit. There's always a choice in the matter. I don't know where this thing where you have to be mindless viewer & you BETTER enjoy it mentality is coming from but I'm not with all that.
As for any control over the theme or pairings, no we don't have control over that but I do think the Challenge viewers should definitely be more vocal when it comes to what they want out of this show. If it wasn't for the viewers (especially the longtime hardcore viewers), this show along with The Real World would've been in the trash years ago.

People don't understand that it's not because we hate the show lol we obviously WANT this show to win & to be on top (and it really should be dominating the whole "Competition Reality Show" category, especially with how long it's been around & vast list of eligible castmembers). If we didn't, we wouldn't have such strong opinions on what they could do to achieve that & we certainly wouldn't be on here talking about it.
BMP doesn't want to win themselves. You see that with both this show & with the BGC franchise.

It's frustrating as a long time viewer to see how this show is done and be in the position its in because you know that this show has all the potential in the world to be one of if not THE best competition reality show/s around and the people behind it all just seems to not want that to happen it seems. Ct is good at puzzles. He doesn't get credit the only time he really failed was on FA vs bananas. Even bananas said he didn't think he would win because ct was super good at puzzles.
Also CT and Avery like each other I believe because diem and her got close after the whole Johnny breakup thing.
