Rivals 3? Are you serious? That's so unappealing. This is going to be the weakest Rivals season yet and the 1st two weren't all that good.
The first season 1 was everything for me.
It's just like film. It gets worse with every sequal. Where's the originality? Weall need to change our professions and studies and help these shitty networks.
And why are they doing guy/girl pairs? I really liked the same sex pairings the 1st two had. It kinda made the format unique IMO. Now this is bascially Exes 3 with how the teams are set up and we just had Exes 2.
Actually sort of happy that it's Rivals 3.... Rivals has always been a somewhat successful theme for entertainment purposes
rivals 1 had the worst repetitive challenges but the cast was perfect and entertaining and the tbone elimination was everything! Rivals 2 was entertaining but they for some reason decided to remove and not show a lot of fights on the trailers but it was still somewhat pleasing. I'm hoping rivals 3 doesn't disappoint.

Exes and having an argument with someone you didnt hookup/date are two different things.

I also wish people would quite saying Co-Ed Rivals equals Exes. A boy and girl can dislike each other with our romantic feelings being involved.
Agreed! People will see it will be a different vibe in the house, and the drama will be different than an Exes environment. I look forward to seeing how it all plays out.

Very true! I knew I was disappointed with Bloodlines because they didn't get the "right people".. And they reused a house.. And used a theme that was used for another show.. But that trailer, and what they showed got me intrigued. Maybe they'll do the same for this one.
I mean the teams are just not ideal but many Real World/Challenge alumni who qualified for the theme either declined or had a rival that declined. Therefore they weren't cast and from the looks of it in order to make the 13-14 team quota they reached and got more than the expected 2-4 AYTO people. And I don't get how you do a new season that just introduced 15 people and only cast 3 of them.......
At this point I feel like only non-restricting themes will work based on who wants to do a challenge and who doesn't because if not we are gonna get cast like this. So crossing my fingers for a Free Agents 2 next season. I don't mind AYTO if it were the right ones which is something they struggle with. I would have loved

I would like another format as well that doesn't restrict the cast because it sucked that Sylvia couldn't be on this season because Bruno is a baby.
Rivals III (Co-Ed) is a great theme if you have the right cast. The fact that we don't know if Averey would be paired with Banana's or Wes, wouldn't know about Thomas/Simone, wouldn't know who Mandi would be paired with, or why any of the AYTO kids are rivals if you don't watch the show, etc is very telling at why it is a bad theme for this cast.
Half of the rivalries we dont know, how deep they were since they most likely happened on bloodlines and that havent air. I have hope as far as bananas is an stretch most likely lol
