I think it's becaue MTV/BMP hates this franchise and it's fans so much they just do everything in their power to get us to stop watching so it would get bad ratings and it would get cancelled.

But, are the AYTO and The Challenge audiences so dissimilar that a show with such low ratings as AYTO will actually help The Challenge? What if 600,000 of the 800,000 people who watch AYTO already watch The Challenge? They can't really be counting on converting all 200,000 of the remainder into Challenge watchers.

It was & it is. I've been trying to wrap my head around BMP in general with their shows & their direction.
These AYTO fans people keep talking about haven't shown up yet to watch this show...somehow by having 8 of them on Challenge 28, BMP believes they will. All they're doing is ******* off the casuals (they've said **** the hardcore fans long ago so need to include us lol) & messing with their core fanbase, thinking this other show's fanbase will magically show up to watch The Challenge.
The funny shit is that AYTO viewers are just the small percentage of The Challenge viewers that are interested enough to watch AYTO. It's not like AYTO viewers are a mass of newbies coming from watching Empire on FOX and tuning in to watch AYTO, they're already a sprinkle of casual MTV viewers from other shows. MTV doesn't promote outside of MTV.... that whole logic is dumb if they think it'll help ratings. Ratings can't be the reason why the sudden inclusion, if anything AYTO needs the challengers/RWers to pop up on their show. I think BMP just wants to broaden the casting pool (but ignore the old vets) and think that AYTO are good/fresh additions TO THEM and clearly not taking the viewers opinions into consideration. They're doing what they feel is good business to them. They'll learn though.
I'm not THAT pressed actually. I could do without Nate and Simone though.
I hate continuing this AYTO argument because it's stupid & we all have our opinions but I still don't get why people approve Bloodlines, Freshmeat, Spring break, but not AYTO. Not liking the AYTO cast members from Exes 2 is no excuse to absolutely hating the 58 others that were on the same show as if they're all the same prototype.
At the end of the day they're stupid *** drunken 20 somethings who want to be on TV & make money whether they're someone's cousin, from Are You The One or Freshmeat. The way they got onto this show does not determine them as a person or player. If Cooke/Jenny/Ashley/Cory etc were originally cast from AYTO would you hate him too? **** that's shallow.
You can't even use the excuse that you don't know them because the Bloodlines are completely RANDOM people, same with Freshmeat & Springbreak. None of these people were on TV before The Challenge. At least AYTO were on the same network and we got to understand their storyline like we do with characters on The Real World. It may not be as in depth as the Real World, but the way the RW is nowadays it's a pretty similar show with just a different format.

Why do people keep pairing Wes with Jessica? Not only do I not understand what would make them rivals (am I forgetting something?) but I don't understand why Wes would agree to it. Can someone explain? Thanks!
the higher ups for each show came to some sort of agreement to have AYTO on there.
1. They both get marketing for their shows through the real world and AYTO.
2. Challenge gets a bigger cast.
3. Some money transactions $
i look at this as a positive thing. I have been a fan of this franchise for a while. And I am glad we will see fresh faces. A lot of complaints come from people tired of seeing the same people. So why not switch it up a bit. I never heard of AYTO till they showed up on exes 2. I did my research and saw the show. It's entertaining but def not something I would rewatch lol and the cast entertaining I'll give them that. Besides it's also cheaper for them to hire the new faces than the vets.
btw I heard Shirin (survivor) bought her way into second chances lol
So confused about this Wes thing especially because Brandon was also tweeting... Like no way there have been 2 eliminations..... **** I don't even see their being one yet.
Some one should ask her with pic if she saw averey, Mandi, maybe Brad and just in case Wes (He is still innactive on his personal facebook and snap, he having someone running his IG or being sneaky wouldnt shock me) as of last week he was leaving the country to film a show, unless he pull a bruno.

I watch this show to see various people from The Real World and Road Rules interact with each other in several ways and compete. This show is intended for RW and RR's(despite all the non-castmembers tainting it) Not just any and every ******* from any show that has nothing to do with this franchise and certainly not for RW Rejects either.
And for the record from what I've seen with AYTO I'm not impressed. I don't find those Idiots interesting, People from the RW are interesting. The Skeletons cast were more interesting than all 3 seasons put together.
