Is New York and her mom still doing Couples Therapy?

They are doing the spin-off Family Therapy.

YAAAAAASSSSSSS Vh1 needs to go ahead and **** it up and bring back I Love New York!

Of all the people to choose from they chose Karamo? Shit they got New York on there they couldn't get anyone more relevant from the Real World?

I think he's on because he's friends with the producer. The sames goes for Claudia Jordan who's on after being fired from RHOA.

OMG only watching for New York and Jennifer!! #QUEENS

Desperately need to know if coral and elka are still friends

Not putting it in the Diem thread, because the video made me cry and everything BUT --- Derrick's hair has definitely seen better days. He didn't age badly or anything, but he needs to cut that.

What does Derrick even do for work I'm curious if he's still living off that challenge money.

He's a professional CHUMP and father

Someone sent this to me the other day and I forgot to post it.  Irulan from Real World Las Vegas was in the audience during a taping of Wendy William's show a few weeks ago.  She hasn't changed a bit!  Here's the link that shows her several times throughout the episode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXTuSL-haFM

Susie Meister and Sarah Rice have a new-ish podcast together called The Brain Candy podcast. I've only listened to the first intro ep so far, but they talked a bit about life on the shows (how being in a challenge house is like being brainwashed in a cult, how unsafe the neighborhood in Brooklyn was when Sarah was on RW). If you're into stuff like that, it's worth a listen.

Still fine as ever. If only her & Arissa could make their return to the show....

And you know what I love? If you go through the comments, so many people recognized her. Just goes to show the impact that many old schoolers have made. Further reason why they need to return to the challenge! Although I doubt many would come back but still.

If Twitter/Instagram was around in those days, a lot of these old-school castmembers' numbers would be in the hundreds of thousands....around where the big Love & Hip Hop / Real Housewives names are.

Makes me lmao when people swear Nana Gonzalez & Backpack are hot shit.

I love Irulan! She's still beautiful. I wish she would return. Her elimination against Sarah G. will always be one of my favorites!

so true graphik and badlad.  If social media was as big in the 2000s as it was now, they would all have over 100k followers.  I remember some of them had tens of thousands of myspace friends.

Those older castmembers really became celebrities. They would have spreads in magazines, numerous college tours that paid good money, still got to do Challenges, MTV Spring Break hosting, appearances on other networks, & of course this was all back when MTV was really POPPIN. I remember reading somewhere that the San Diego premiere was around 4 million or so, so I can imagine what seasons 1-13 were.

So many of my older family members that watched the show back in the day still know about people like Eric Nies, Puck, Beth, Coral, The Miz, Veronica, etc.

Those are all the names that most people aged 23 & up would name....you'll be hard pressed to find people talking about any castmembers now other than CT (and he was apart of the older generation). Anytime this show comes up on a blog or another forum the consensus is always "I miss the days of Coral, Veronica, The Miz, etc. that's when the show used to be so good".

Yep. I remember during Inferno 2 Veronica had a spread and an Interview in a magazine(forgot which one it was) and alot of the cast used to do speaking arrangments. They really made bank doing this.

And yes alot of people still remember the older challengers and such alot of websites and forurms I go too still talk about the golden era challenges and the cast.

And people think the old-schoolers are irrelevant and noone remembers them lol. The fact that people remember Irulan of all people is a testament to their impact. Don't really undertand why MTV/BMP won't invest in some old dogs. If nothing else they can bring people BACK to the show.

They don't really want viewers & people watching The Challenge.

That's whats up

Should we add Are you the one to the where are they now thread now?

No.

CT and Aneesa (CT moreso, of course), at least from my experience.  Anytime I ever mention The Challenge to anyone, the names that they recognize are those two.  Other than that, it's a "Huh?".
