Is this season any good? Season 3B (the potential was there, but it fell extremely short) and 4 really turned me off.
Season 2 and 3A are fantastic. 4 was a shame.. BUT 5 is absolutely bringing my life for this show back. 4 was like the ugly stepchild of teen wolf and Season 5 is just great so far XD I mean at least I think so.

kinda annoyed how useless scott is 80% of the time. Like he is this big bad true alpha and sucks all the time
They trash his alpha abilities on various podcasts. Like how are you the true alpha, but you're soooooo weak. Like, Stiles is stronger than you. A HUMAN!!!

Yeah, I hate that. It seems like his true alpha abilities are revealed only when it is suitable.
At first, I thought they were playing down Scott's abilites only to have him emerge as a strong force. BUT NO-seasons have passed and he is such a flop. It's unbearable now. How is Stiles, a human, fighting Theo, a supernatural & putting up a fight. Get it together-JEFF DAVIS! I was still into this season and I'm glad there is now going to be another team opposing Scott's pack. Should be an interesting dynamic knowing that Hayden is a part of it.

Waking from the dead + breaking through mountain ash... that shows that you don't need physical power to be an alpha.

Season 5 is 20 episodes. Two arcs of 10 episodes, it wasn't ending here anyway. Season 5A and 5B.
Season 5B reportedly ends like a series finale though, as season 6 was never in the plans.
