The format can sell if its promoted properly and if the rumor of being good season dramatic wise like I have heard then it would be easy. But the problem is that MTV

It depends but MTV is still doing horrible , the only show that get over the million mark is teen mom. But compared to other years it has gone down big time.
I also find it funny how only a few years ago they were bringing in near 9 million viewers with jersey shore and now they can't even get 2 million today
