Just heard from one of my sources from earlier in the season that this will be airing by the end of this year. Heard a few other things but just cross checking with another source.

Once I heard from my sources, its the first time after 3 season that everything is so quiet. The social network ban is done and almost the entire cast except for 4 people is quiet. Plus, I also have finals this week for my two classes and then vacation.
I really don't get much scoop once the season ends besides a tidbit like this here or there. I usually only get the cast or an elimination here and there. This has been the most difficult out of the 3 I've gotten info for (Free Agents and Exes 2)

Having a really hard time getting myself hyped up about watching the challenge every time I think about the fact that 71% of the cast is made up of rookies. 20/28 cast members were on their first or second challenges. Gross. I get irrationally angry thinking about how long it'll be until season 28 and how season 27 feels like such a throwaway. Yep still salty

This isn't a throwaway!! This is a turning point of the show similar to The Gauntlet 2, Freshmeat, Fresh Meat 2, and BOTS! If you look at the alumni it's a pretty solid cast and PR has been hinting that there has definetly been a great amount of drama and that's always a good sign!
I'm more excited for this season than Exes 2. Love fresh faces.

i guess eventually I'll grow to like some of the rookies but it's always so hard for me to get past the initial "I hate them all!!" Stage. I like my familiar faces I'm not a huge bananas fan at all but I feel like even his presence is gonna be a comfort to me in a season full of randos ugh
also I really disliked 3/4 of the seasons you mentioned lol
I am the other way around its the first time in a while that the majority or half of the cast wasnt in the previous season. Only 5 of the 28 cast members were on exes 2. 7 were on free agents. 5 were on rivals 2. That gets me more excited, no recycled storylines. New drama, new competitors and finally not the same recycle storylines.
Exactly! New alliances, new drama, new frienships, new hook ups! I hope this season is the best since Rivals!

I actually wish it had been pairs like Fresh Meat because rookies are easier to handle that way lol. I can just think of it like a cast of 14 with each person having a semi-relevant 'plus one' who makes no decisions and is basically seen but not heard ****. But now I actually have to try to care about these people

I agree with you. Like I do not care for these rookies, you can only imagine how much I care about their bloodlines. This season seems so bad and thanks to that all my the challenge love is gone.
