The Bulls are the only legitimate concern for the Cavs. Toronto can actually be a good team but let's be real they aren't competing with the Cavs. #Pistons #WeSuck #StanVanIsTheSavior
I swear I see something in the Wizards but I've been wrong before (Every year with my Rockets lol) Respect for Pistons fandom tho. Hopefully Drummond blossoms under Stan and Josh Smith stops shooting.

I think going from Ariza to Pierce is a slight downgrade, especially defensively. Wall and Beal is one of the best backcourts. A frontcourt of Nene and Gortat is decent but not great. Overall, they are easily a playoff team in the East but not competitors in my eyes.
My prediction for the east standings 1. Bulls 2. Cavs 3. Wizards or Heat 4. Raptors 5. Wizards or Heat 6. Hornets 7. Hawks 8. Knicks 9. Nets 10. Pacers 11. Pistons 12. Celtics 13. Bucks 14. Magic 15. 76ers
My predictions for the west 1. Thunder 2. Spurs 3. Clippers 4. Warriors 5. Blazers 6. Mavs 7. Rockets 8. Suns 9. Grizzlies 10. Nuggets 11. Pelicans 12. Lakers 13. Kings 14. Jazz 15. T'Wolves
Speaking of Raptors.. that game 7 was a heartbreaker. My sis loves basketball and was almost in tears. Also they got sued for 25k bc Drake shouted out K. Durant in one of his concerts. So silly really Toronto Raptors fined for tampering over Drake?s comments on Kevin Durant: report | National Post

And I like Ariza for Houston right now since we needed more defense than offense.

The Bulls are the only legit threat to the cavs if Rose is healthy. That's the big question though, he's been sitting out for team USA because of soreness. I think the Bulls will monitor his playing time that's why I'm giving the Cavs the 1 seed.
I think the Rockets will be the odd man out in the west. Losing Parsons hurts and who are they replacing Lin with (I'm not a Lin fan but he was a serviceable starter)? Plus, based on what I've read I doubt their non Dwight and Harden players are really eager to get up and play for them. I wouldn't be inclined to give my best effort to two guys who said that they were the only two pieces on the team that matter.

At the very least a 7 or 8 seed because seeds 4-8 will have 49-52 wins and tiebreakers will make the difference. By losing Lin we lose our go to guy to create offense off the bench which no one else was capable of, we make up for his scoring with Canaan and Troy Daniels but lose his playmaking ability. Losing Asik hurts us against teams that play two real bigmen at the same time and we won't have an elite rim defender backing Dwight up anymore. We do have more depth with Dorsey, Adrien and D-Mo. Lastly Losing Parsons affects us offensively since he was the 2nd best creator in the starting lineup. Switching Ariza in helps us where we were weakest at which was perimeter defense, and we definitely needed to worry more about our defense than offense. And honestly I think Dwight and Hardens comments were taken too seriously. At the end of the day when you have star players, you want your stars to be leaders and take the bulk of the responsibility for the team. Saying "role-players" was maybe a poor choice of words but if you follow the team during the offseason they actually have a lot of camaraderie.

Especially when he know fully well ole girl called him out before the gag order. I know it has little to do with the NBA but it's relevant. Anyway you're spot on with EVERYTHING else you said. As for Lin, I think he's shady. imho, he should've stayed with the Knicks but I respect his overall decision.
The Rockets definitely butchered their off season. They put too much faith in landing a free agent which backfired because they got rid of key pieces in the process. Trevor Ariza is a good player, but Chandler Parsons is better. They essentially dumped Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik for nothing in anticipation of signing Chris Bosh.

Happy he tried, sad it didn't work out. Depending how our young guys develop and our stars stay consistent we'll hopefully be better by the end of the season.

MTVJunky and Biscoff are turnt up right now. Im glad Chris Bish won the Degree shooting contest but i missed it. I thought Lowry was gonna win the Taco Bell skills contest but congrats to Patrick Beverly, and my man Stephen Curry won the Footlocker 3pt contest whoop whoop. Now i choose Zach Lavine to win the Sprite dunk contest.

I had to work tonight, missed everything, how did korver lose the three point comp, he's shooting 56 percent from three point this year. That's unreal.

Because he had a bad round & Curry was unfire in the last round making 27 points almost perfect.

The dunk contest was unreal the best one I have seen in awhile!! Zach LaVine made all the impossible dunks look super easy!!! He was made for the dunk contest!

Idk Warriors and Cavs are looking good.

The 8 seed out of the East will win it.........unless that team is Brooklyn.

I think the NBA playoffs should be pretty exciting this season or at least in the West. I also think whoever comes out of the West will probably win the championship. If the Cavs or Bulls come out of the East then we should be in for a good finals!!

or the hawks since they play well. there is like no superstar on there team and yet they have the 2nd best record.

I agree the Hawks are good, but like you said they have no superstar. We all know only superstars win championships in the NBA lol!!

The Warriors are going to take it all the way to the end. #DubNation #WeDeserveIt #30

They have a really good team, but I don't think they will win the NBA championship.
