I think 10 is the best bet in drama/gameplay, imo.

Hm, I disagree entirely. Out of everyone, I'd say Steven, Jessie, Ollie, and Jerry were bad players and everyone else varied from decent to good to great. Dan, we know did his thing. Memphis was a crucial partner and did well socially and had the juror twist not happened, loses 4-3. Keesha pulled a lot of things in the house (see the Jessie vote, Libra remaining the target when she did all the dirty week, etc.), she was just dramatic so her options/game was limited. Had the better comp player not been gaainst by f4, she could defintiely win. Renny started off annoying, yet bonded with a lot of people in there and was good socially. Those goodbye messages to Libra, Keesha, April and then her relationships with Dan/Memphis on top of it, she turned out solid. Michelle was another who did a lot of thinking for her pairing of Jessie/herself and then bringing in Memphis/Angie. April was good at playing all sides for a bit, albiet dramatic too, just tried to cover all her bases and it flipped on her. Libra was pretty much masterminding all the prejury boots, granted she wasn't hiding it well. Even Angie and Brian ahd potential.
BB10 is what an ideal cast should be: dramatic, group of players, diverse and interesting people. We hardly ever see a male and female have platonic relationships like Keesha ahd with Dan/Memphis or see a retired vet calling a church teacher "Judas", or see a house blowup like for Keesha's brithday. That season is top-tier

I disagree about it being an ideal cast but I don't watch for drama...the gameplay was poor...much like last season.
Memphis is probably one of, if not the best runners-ups the show has seen. He was relatable, moved around socially, he certainly ahs flaws, but tons of players do. Not being a completely player like Dan, Will, Danielle R, etc. doesn't mean you played poor at all. Jessie was in no way the third, I feel like that's sarcasm? He just napped, played awful socially, made people wanna flip on him, and just egged people on. He was massively owned by the girls as soon as they could get him. Hell, it even showed how April was playing all sides.

Did you just like Memphis as a person/character?

Last season's cast was the worst ever. If Derrick had to deal with even one person with a brain he would have been screwed. Nicole was the only one that even understood the game.
How in the world was Daniele better than Memphis? People preferred to vote for ED, a guy who bullied/berated/huminlated them all summer over her, THAT's how shit her social game was. She's never been a good player, albiet entertaining in 13. Her game relied on comp wins. I forgot Dani R was a runn-erup for a mintue, so yeah she's definitely the best runner-up, but Memphis is far from being a bad player or runner-up. Porsche did nothing all summer and I respect and love me some UTR players, but she wasn't that at all. In actuality, the runner-ups I'd put ahead of Memphis are Nicole, Danielle, and potentially Alison. He seemed decent, but that doesn't matter to me. I hate Andy and acknolwedge how good he is, same for Maggie.
Of course America chose Dan and his vote, but Keesha was the one to even get the plan together and even without the twist, Dan evicts Jessie. BB10 had one of the better casts and unless you're gonna come with some examples, we should probably end this.

Daniele was a 1000x times better than Memphis. She was even a better competitor. Her social game wasn't bad at all--it was hugely ruined by her father.
Porsche played a great game after her bad start--she intentionally made herself invisbile because she was a target early then aligned behind bigger targets while keeping Rachel close for when she needed her.
Dani D not being ahead of Memphis is downright laughable to me.
Keesha, who I gave credit to, was the only other person with a brain and I don't believe Dan evicts Jessie.
I'd take S2, S3, S4, S6, S7, S8, S11 over S10 in terms of casting....hell Brit alone might make S12 better despite Rachel & co
I certainly believe Dan does, as he preferred people like Keesha, Renny, etc. and was going to be a swing vote either way. I still need to rewatch older seasons, but I'd put 10 over those listed. 12 had Britney Haynes and Rachel Reilly for making the season dynamic and that's it, 6 had amazing power struggles, but half the cast was far too unlikable and took things to uncomfortable depths. 7 was entertaining and great, but you had a lot of former greats just flame out/not care in Diane, Alison, Nakimos, James even was burnt out a bit. 11 was a fun cast, but these are still strange picks, especially 11 and 12 when we're talking gameplay alone. Guess we'll just agree to disagree ehre sicne we're not getting anywhere.
