The Challenge: Battle of The Exes 2 - Zach Nichols and Jonna Mannion

Zach is who i thought he was. He got lucky to be on the team he was on his first show, where Frank ran politics and he coudl be the tough looking guy with muscles who just intimidated people he knew he could. He has 1 really solid girl too who could run for days and just an overall stacked team by comparison. Than the vets came and he became a completley different character being more of the light hearted goofball with jokes. Than things got tough and he started showing how bad of a sport and person he truly is when things get hard. He has basically been doing that ever since he was dq'ed on rivals 2.

He is a horrible teammate(jonna, sam, etc), a horrible leader(jonna), and not even very good at things he shoudl be good at with his size. He doesn't seem that athletic etiher like i don't see him doing things like showing crazy jumping ability like for instance CT showed on that frog jumping mission on duel 1. I mean i want to see him head to head in something physical with someone close to his size and see how he does, hoenstly i am not even sure abotu his strength or his ability to push himself to another gear. He obviosuly is a big baby, a poor sport, and treats women terribly and like objects. He always was patting himself on the back for making out and hooking up with these girls, but man he truly seems like a guy with serious serious issues.

This edit this season is hilariously over the top. Either he was worse than this and we only see a franction of how bad he was to Jonna, or he only was a **** sometimes and jonna got the feel bad for me edit and he got the bad guy edit. i really think this accurate though how bad he was to jonna. he never seemed the least bit sorry or remorseful for anything he said or did to her this season. We also know he talked tons of crap abotu her behind her back. so that makes it worse really.

If you ever need cheering up Jonna, just watch him cry on the free agents finale and make odd baby noises as soon as things got a litlte hard for him. That seems to be a nice summary of Zach overall too.

He would get his *** whooped. Ever since Seasons 2, Zach has always come across as a big soft but bratty child, but like you said because of his size he got away with a lot. Alton wasn't scared of him though, he failed trying to intimidate him.

ahahahaa omg I remember that now, took Altons hat off his head then immediately looked scared about it lmao. What a tool.

yeah I feel like after every season he's been in, at some point, someone has come out and said he was just a horrible person. It's as if BMP just stopped being generous with him like -**** it, we know he has a lot of fans of his looks but this is actually who Zach is.

He thought because Alton had gotten smaller from his earlier years, that meant he became a pushover. I remember there being some talk that Alton had some trained fighting in his background & could've ****** Zach's shit up if he wanted to, especially seeing how soft Zach really is.

haha yea. i think in the end it boils down to why root for him to win? He is a horrible winner(talking about how awesome he is and putting down everyone else on twitter etc) and loser(throwing fits, throwing his helmet, finger pointing,*****ing, moaning). He just isn't someone to root for.

Although at this point i dont even want to try to mention him and CT like they are comparable, but CT showed awesome athleticism against other top tier guys on different shows. When has Zach wowed anyone in missions really or shown that he is an athletic freak for his size etc. i think he just is huge, that's it, nothing more, nothing less.  CT is a big guy but crazy athletic for his size.

Does anyone know if Zach dislikes Sarah? He was such a **** when Sarah was trying to be sweet and tell Jonna she did great in the elimination and that she's a tough competitor. It really pissed me off when he was like "Shut the **** up." I really wanted to throw something at the TV screen when I watched it lol he ****** me off so much.

i kind of took that as he was so bitter about losing and he dislikes Jonna so much to the point that he didn't want anyone to even comfort her/ tell her she actually did do a good job, at all.

Or maybe he doesn't like Sarah idk she is one of the inferior folk I guess lol

He's a ******* that's why

I remember he did Derrick's podcast during Battle of the Seasons and he said that she was "kind of Down Syndrome-y". He's just a dipshit.

To be fair though, I don't think Jonna was really feeling it either and she was rolling her eyes a little bit. Sarah can be a little much sometimes and I don't think Jonna wanted to hear all of that right after she lost.

I do agree with that. Zach was still a **** about it but I felt like Sarah was kind of in a way rubbing it in that she won. Sarah has this condescending attitude that I just don't like about her.

She has handled Jordan well this season and probably the only one who could have handled him but she still has a really annoying cocky side.

Yeah you're right Jonna did look annoyed. Sarah is painfully condescending I would hate to hear that shit from her too.

Yeah, that comment stands out from that whole podcast. More and more you can see what a golden edit he's gotten until Exes 2.

Yeah Sarah's intense, but I think Jonna was just sad that she lost.

I disagree , I feel like she was trying to give Jonna encouragement especially after seeing her get belittled and verbally abused all season.

I can see how it could come off condescending and probably not something you wanna hear, but I think Sarah isn't intentionally meaning to come across that way and her comments also go hand in hand with how Zach treated her like garbage and she maybe thought Jonna needed to hear it.

It's crazy that now looking back frank was right on everything he said about zach,  I don't think no one took frank serious when he talked about his roomates back on the real world , but now looking back he was right, he said that zach was dumb like plain dumb and he was right, that zach had deep issues and was really insecure and that was true, and then I remember frank saying how zach wanted women to do everything he wanted like ashley on the real world following him everywhere , and now looking on his treatment towards women It's safe to say it's true.

I agree. No one listened to Frank because he was crazy on his season but he is a smart dude and read Zach like a book. Everything Frank said about him has come out. The viewers just didn't see it all until now.

Maybe Sarah was coming from a good place but I just don't know if she was since in the past she has proved to be extremely condescening and it did seem that way.

I was waiting for someone to bring this up. It was a bit awkward, and I hope Jonna and Sarah are friends/okay with each other after that :(. Didn't Sarah hate Jonna on Seasons? I remember Trashelle, Devyn, and Sarah trashing Jonna for not volunteering when Jasmine had to face Sam.

Sarah said she loathed Jonna but I think they eventually made up or something because I've seen pictures of Sarah/Jonna/Frank hanging out in LA since Seasons.

He would get his *** whooped. Ever since Seasons 2, Zach has always come across as a big soft but bratty child, but like you said because of his size he got away with a lot. Alton wasn't scared of him though, he failed trying to intimidate him.

There was a strength challenge during that season where he was outperformed thoroughly by Alton, CJ and Big Easy. If not for Jasmine, he would have have been beaten by CJ that season. Looks like Thor, has the heart and ability of Mclovin.

So after Zach's "Lackluster" performance this season, where would you rank him in terms of the new generation? Mine is 1) Frank. 2) Jordan 3)Leroy 4) Zach 5)CJ

CJ is definitely better than Zach. I know he doesn't have the win to prove it, but still lol

CJ is definitely better than Zach. I know he doesn't have the win to prove it, but still lol

Don't know if I'd call CJ new school considering his show was 2009, but I'd say he's definitely a better competitor than Zach.

http://www.zap2it.com/blogs/battle_of_the_exes_2_why_jonna_felt_it_was_t...

"Zach likes to play the blame game. Every single challenge that we had, no matter what, I always did something wrong. It was always my fault. He thinks he's perfect," Jonna tells  Zap2it. "I'll give it to him -- he's really strong and he's great at these challenges, but I'm not a bad partner. I'm not always doing something wrong."

"I didn't know what else to do at that point but say, 'You know what? You need to stop this. If we are going to go anywhere in this game you have to check your attitude because we only have each other in this.'" Jonna says. "It's almost like he's a military drill sergeant and he just starts screaming. He speaks to other people on his team like they're a child and he's the parent."

"I like paired partnerships, and having a strong guy as a partner would be a perfect Challenge partner. I'm smart and I can compete, and having someone who is stronger than everyone else would be the perfect combination. I learned this Challenge that that's not all it takes," she says.

"I think Jordan is a great partner. He's so supportive of Sarah, and they compete well together. If I had a magic partner it would be someone I've already [been on the show] with. Otherwise, I would want to be by myself."

I must confess that I never understood the Jonna love before. Just didn't see it. Now I do. This season really changed my mind about her. I have Zach to thank for that! (and that is the ONLY nice thing I have to say about Zach)!! #teamjonna

So glad Jonna is getting so many supporters. She was always just there on these shows but she came out of Exes 2 with an actual storyline and ended up being loved by everyone.

I've always loved Jonna, ever since Cancun. I watched a Endurance after that and loved her there too. I always thought she was a solid competitor, just a tiny one so she was at a disadvantage.

I will admit, everyone always said she was amazing at puzzles and the Dont Forget Me mission definitely made people question that, but I really think this season has made everyone look at her as a better competitor in other areas.

She has shown that she has good endurance, that she can jump and has good hand-eye coordination, isn't scared of anything, and that she is stronger than her smaller frame appears. I'm so happy for her and that she came out of this challenge with more confidence. She has come so far, in my eyes, and I love her even more now.

The fact that Jenna is still with Zach shows what an idiot she is... He is worse than Jay.

"The fact that Jenna is still with Zach shows what an idiot she is... He is worse than Jay."

I-m so happy this. the fact that she rationalized his behavior by saying "some people just hate their exes more than others" Wacko what a dumb-aaaaaaa. Isn't she supposed to be friends with Jonna too my word
