Trey and Laura have offered nothing yet because they haven't been on enough seasons to do much. If they're given another chance (including LaToya, who really deserves another chance after Free Agents), I'm sure they'll arise to the occasion.
Right. People forget that for some people it takes a few challenges in order to get interesting. I mean look at Backpack. He was a non-factor his first 3 challenges but on The Island he started bringing something to the table. Veronica didn't get interesting until The Gauntlet 1..Her 4th challenge. And let's not talk about the people who are constantly brought back but don't offer much of anything like Leroy/Sarah/Jonna/Brandon/Jessica. They don't get shit for being boring and not adding anything but yet evreryone says how Trey/Laura are wastes and don't offer anything.
I'll say Veronica has always been very dynamic lol but I agree with the Trey/Laura thing. Give them their time just like others had theirs.
As far as Camila I feel like she wants to be "infamous" like Tonya & Katie were, but not enough people watch The Challenge enough to care anymore.
I don't think she's trying lol because most of her outburst have been her being drunk. Look, you guys can say what you want to say, but Camila has given us probably one of the top 10 best moments in Challenge history with that Battle of the Exes 1 tantrum.
I personally love it when Camila gets into a fight. Its always so funny and no one can hold her back. Not even the guys. Lol i like how Emily, Paula, and Aneesa struggled to separate her from Backpack. Do yall think she would have beaten him up?

100% yes. That girl has no control when she drinks.

In my personal opinion, the whole "I was drunk" thing is a cop-out (for everybody who uses it). You may lose your inhibitions but you KNOW what the **** you're doing. I speak from experience lol
As far that moment, ehhh....agree to disagree on that.

I just came back from New Orleans this weekend and it was the first time ever I used the "I was drunk" excuse. Sometimes people lose control of what they do lol. Also, you know when it's real when her ***** were out and didn't even care about fixing her blouse lol
alcohol in the copious amounts that camila was taking makes you lose self awareness. i highly doubt that she was thinking about how to become notorious in her state of drunken stupor. thats just not how alcohol and its neurlogical mechanism works. you just act without thinking or planning, which is why people always make "in the moment" decisions under influence that they would normally not commit, knowing there would be some consequences afterwards. somebody that has a lot of restraint or discipline would probably be less subsceptible to the effects of it unless they got really hammered but knowing camila and how rash she even is when shes SOBER, i really doubt shes excerising a lot of calculated thinking when drunk. if she were trying to imitate a certain past cast member this would be more revealed when shes actually sober and actively trying to think about how to become somebody else. when youre drunk you dont try, you just do.
i dont like the way the scores for the swimming challenges are determined nowadays like in the last challenge. they should go back to the days of the duel in the Russian swing mission where the times were taken for both the females AND males and then averaged out. this puts an equal amount of reliance on the male competitor as it does the female. what happens now is only the weak link is scored and 99% of the time that's always going to be the female which makes it so that the team with the best female will usually come out on top even if the male is the weakest swimmer of the other males. in this system the male cant do anything to help out their weaker link since it would be awkward and inefficient to try to drag them through the water. at best they can encourage their female partners to hurry up but ultimately the effect would be minimal compared to actually having the males score equate to 50% of their result. this is probably why kenny and laurel ended up murdering FM2 since it was pretty much just a race between laurel and the other girls for so many missions .

Bananas: 1st challenge, yea because he was out first. 2nd challenge, he made it into the final and had some drama along the way with Susie and Cara. 3rd Challenge, even though he was sent home early, he had drama with Tyler and basically gave the Vets the strategy to win. TAKE OUT BIG EASY. So, Bananas really did bring something to the table after his 1st challenge. Veronica was always interesting because a lot of people hated her lol. I agree with the others you listed and yes there has to be a balance of entertaining people and people who focus on the challenge, but all of the people you listed are somewhat involved in stoyline (except for Brandon who should never come back). IMO, the only people I would want to see from St. Thomas come back are Marie & LaToya. They're the ones who made the St. Thomas season bearable for me IMO and Marie was competitve and provided drama in her 1st and only season. I don't know why you're a Trey/Laura supporter but let's just say they were on this season. They would have been sent home the 1st few eliminations because he really doesn't have ties to anyone this season.
Eh. All Backpack did in Inferno 3 is whine about Susie and Cara. It never materialized into anything memorable or entertaining. And he doesn't get points for warning the vets about something that should've been very ******* obvious to them anyways. He didn't do anything worth anything on his 1st 3 challenges. And while Veronica was always interesting and people did hate her but only Emily(Second Adventure) really acted on their dislike of her at that point. She didn't really turn into the bad *** ***** that controled the game until The Gauntlet.
And I do agree Marie and Latoya are great TV and they should come back..But I gotta admit I do want to see Robb/Trey/Swift again too.
I just don't see it for Trey or Laura. Trey just isolates himself and doesn't even materialize into anything good--see Rivals 2. ****, Seasons 2 was a rookie's golden chance to break out and he was out shone by Marie, Devyn, Nany, **** even DEREK. The most I can hope from Laura is a party girl when away from Trey and even that isn't interesting. I'm still glad they were dropped for Exes 2, because even with a proper edit, they're just not compelling or interesting TV.
I'm still glad they were dropped for Exes 2, because even with a proper edit, they're just not compelling or interesting TV.
This is how I feel about Eric & Sahar , at least Trey & Laura are real exes and not a one kiss that only happened because they made a bet on the super bowl.
I'll start another person I don't like on the challenges. Robin.
I never really liked her and she hasn't done anything memorable on the challenges except for being with Mark. She sucks at elimination and is hit or miss with challenges. She cries way too much.
I disagree. I think going head to head with Tonya was pretty **** memorable in my book.
Now if you want to talk about someone who hasn't done anything memorable look no further than Camilla. I still believe till this day that she was a waste of a spot on Cutthrorat. She's been on. She's done nothing remotley interesting or entertaining. She is Useless and a waste of a spot on any challenge she's been on IMO.
I agree with the Robin ordeal. Her and Tonya was pretty funny. And her being the girls leaders on Battle of the Sexes 1. She has become rather pointless on later challenges. Camila was only entertaining on Cutthroat. Other than that challenge, I believe she should've been gone and done...Oh wait, battle of the seasons 2, her outburst on Big Easy was actually pretty hilarious and devastating as well.
I actaully think Mandi was useless for entertaining and competition.
Yeah I do think that Robin peaked on The Inferno 2 in terms of entertainment. After that she was pretty much irrelevant.
And I agree that Mandi was useless. When you think about it all but 2 people(Laurel and Cara Maria) from Fresh Meat 2 that have returned never really did anything wothwhile on these shows. And it really makes you wonder what the **** was the point of that season.
I agree. Noone was relavant on FM2 but those two, which makes me question if Noor or Pete (two of the most wanted FMers to return would have brought something to the table). On that note, and this is in regards to everyone talking to characters being relavant, I think it depends on the season. Certain characters can bring storylines season after season, some just for one or two, and some for non. For example Jonna had a great storyline in Rivals, but I feel as though she's been a bit of a non-factor. Other cast memebers are great for Storylines like Veronica or Coral, which pretty much were protagonists (or antagonists) in their seasons. I feel as though, we should be open to anyone comming into the show, because they can bring something, you just never know when. Look at Dunbar, whom I said, was somewhat relavant in Duel 2 and Theresa who has now started to become a fleshed out character on the new seasons. All you need, is faith...lol
A long time ago i said Cutthroat had the worst opening. But this time i say the top five worst openings of the Challenge go to:
1. Rivals 2 nothing good about it whatsoever.
2. Free Agents, was slightly better than Rivals2 as it showed the cast but still TOO similar to R2.
3. Battle of the Exes 2: the first Exes theme isnt bad at all. But because Exes 2 is just the same as the first Exes opening it places it down
4. Cutthroat the music was annoying and everyone is acting like a model which annoyed me.
5. Rivals. Not to good either.

The first Fresh Meat was awful too
Oh i havent watched it. I cant remember the first Duel or Freshmeat, or the second Fresh Meat.
I didn't feel bad when Sarah had to leave due to her partner on Exes 1 and Rivals 2. She was gonna be on another challenge anyways so I didn't the point of her getting upset about it..Well I mean yeah I get it on some level. Her partner left ********* up and screwed her in the process. I'd be ****** too but still..It's not the end of the world. She'll be on the next challenge and in the case of Exes 1 lo and behold she was on the next season..Battle of the Seasons 2. One of the best seasons ever produced.

If I were Sarah I would have been happy to be sent home while partnered with Vinny. Vinny was fat and a loose cannon. They had no chance in winning. I know Sarah like loves being in the house and competing but If i were her I would have been happy. I think she should have been more upset over the Trashelle thing because her and Trashelle actually had a chance in making the finals.
I still dont think any challenge opening sequence could be worse than Rivals 2.
The Duel 2 surpasses it with ease.
I think you hate The Duel 2 opening so much because of Evan's role
Fresh Meat and Rivals 2 were definitely worse than The Duel 2
It's really not soley because of Evan. That entire ******* thing was stupid. Them in line chanting like some primal tribe and doing a wired dance..They all looked dumb in it.
And I liked Fresh Meat's Intro. Loved the video game intro considering i'm a gamer myself..But again they all looked stupid in that intro.
I like opening credits when they spend a little time for using on each player. Gauntlet 3 comes to mind. Well all do, but I liked that opening. I don't like the quick flashes of the teams.

"Legends" being used for a future season or team sounds really cheesy.
This x1000

I disagree---it is no worse than Exes/Rivals/Skeletons/Explosion
Nothing could be cheesier than ex-plosion
Exes and Rivals arent cheesy at all. Explosion was hella cheesy.
I personally like the sound of The Challenge: Legends. But I prefer The Challenge: Battle of the Ages.
