Does anyone have Netflix recommendations? Particularly comedies because I pretty much exclusively watch comedies or dramadies

Shows or movies?

I was thinking movies, but show recommendations are also welcome

Some funny movie recommendations Horrible Bosses, Super Bad, This is the End, Hall Pass, Pineapple Express, 40 Year Old Virgin, Neighbors, 22 Jump Street, Step Brothers, The Watch. A couple good comedy tv shows are Always Sunny in Philadelphia & Californication.

Just watched Birdman, it's pretty good. But I still find Nightcrawler better, Jake was great in it, he better get an Oscar nod...

WARNING: SPOILER-ISH IMAGES AHEAD

Indominus Rex. I love her. <3

‘Jurassic World’ Images Reveal Hybrid Dinosaur Indominus Rex

I am all for Jurassic World but more people from the earlier movies shpould've returned like Joseph and Arielle's characters . Can't wait to see mostly who will be in theaters will it be fans or people who just go to see it to see it like they do horror movies.

Speaking of horror Movies did anybody see the mickey d's commercial with freddy and jason? hilarious.

Exactly, I get that Birdman was a good movie and I agree, it was awesome but I find Nightcrawler way better

I love James Wan but Dead Silence needs a sequel.

That would be pretty sweet I loved that movie, but I am pretty sure his next horror project will be the Conjuring 2.

Conjuring 2? No please. I never liked it.  Bad

I have to really disagree with you there lol. The Conjuring was one of the best horror movies made over the last few years & the box office numbers don't lie especially when it was released in July against better quality movies. The Conjuring 2 is in the works currently & set to be released June of 2016.

I'm expecting Conjuring 2 to be close to the first in terms of quality. Should be another excellent piece of work from Wan. I'm hoping he continues to run the paranormal horror genre tired, so a new director can step in and renew the slasher genre. I can dream right? Give it a few years Blum 3

It's sad to say but I think Conjuring 2 is gonna be shit. There is no reason for a sequel anyway.

Plenty of reasons for a sequel when it's based off real case files by Ed & Lorraine Warren. Plus they made a shit ton of money on the first one, so why wouldn't they cash in on the success of that. I know I would if was a film maker. There not releasing it until 2016 so I doubt it will be shit. I would agree if they rushed a release for this year, but it looks like their going to take their time & get it right.

A few problems with the Oscars this year:

1. Maybe Nightcrawler didn't deserve a best picture nominee, but, Jake Gyllenhaal was so intimidating and suspenseful in that roll and it wasn't even a typical action or horror movie.  His performance was incredible.  He got snubbed.

2. Miles Teller for Whiplash got absolutely snubbed.  They got it right with J.K. Simmons, but, Miles Teller's performance was one of the best for sure of this year.

3. How on earth is Lego Movie not nominated for best animated picture?  Is it because there was that brief live action part at the end?

4. Ben Affleck deserved a nominee for Gone Girl.  You couldn't tell if he was guilty or innocent the whole movie he played that role so well.

5.  The biggest snub I saw this year however, is how on earth, does Mark Ruffalo get nominated for Foxcatcher but Channing Tatum didn't.  Tatum stole the show in that movie.  His performance was incredible.  Not to say Ruffalo was bad, but his role was nowhere close to as deep or affected as Channing's was.  This one pissed me off the most.

I love all the pictures that got nominated and everything there were just some puzzling choices.  Birdman was great, but Emma Stone best supporting actress?  There had to be better performances this year.  Her's was so brief and standard.  I don't know I kind of lost a little bit of respect for what the Oscars are supposed to be.

Just got out of seeing American Sniper... wow.. that was amazing!!! I didn't even know it was based on a true story until like halfway through. War movies are so overdone, but this one is really worth seeing. I can see why it got a Best Picture nom at the Oscars. Highly recommended!! Smile

1. I saw Nightcrawler back at TIFF, and while I agree that the movie was fantastic and definitely deserves its screenplay nom, the race for Best Actor was extremely difficult this year. The people they chose were truly the best of the best, and while Jake deserves all the praise he got, there was just no room for him. At least he got nods at other awards that seperated the drama and comedy categories.

2. I haven't seen Whiplash yet, but Miles looks pretty decent in it. It just has the same problem Jake has... the Best Actor competition was just too high this year.

3. I was definitely disappointed the LEGO Movie didn't get an animated nom... the movie was fantastic. Not sure what happened here? :/

4. I thought Gone Girl was a great movie, but nowhere near close to Oscar territory. I really don't understand all the praise Rosamund got for that role.. sure she played psycho very well, but omg she really needs to lose that "narrating" voice. I couldn't handle it. She talks to every character like shes trying out for a serious part in a movie and failing. I don't know, difference of opinion I guess. But Ben had too much competition this year. He was alright in it.

5. I found Foxcatcher in general a very bland movie. I feel like they had so much material to work with, but they turned it into a borefest. The beginning and the end were great, but the filler in between should have had a better narrative structure. Channing was good, but no competition to the likes of Steve in that movie. There's only room for 5 in supporting and best actor (whatever category he would fit). I feel like Channing is still trying to shake off his earlier movies, so this was a big step in the right direction. A little more experience and he'll be right up there in the big leagues.

Lol you didn't know it was based on a true story? A lot of it is based off his own book. I thought it was an awesome movie also & one of the better movies at depicting the Iraq war. Only thing I have a problem with is the whole satellite phone thing, were they really a loud to carry them around & use them whenever they want to call home. Seems like to much of a risk & would cause you to lose focus on the task or mission at hand.

6. Not to mention will probably be all white like the Globes. Anyway they think Selma directed itself. As for American Sniper it was good but nothing to write home about. I am just glad Angelina is getting her just desserts with that shitty *** movie she came out with, lol.

Jason David Frank's sense of entitlement is real... Like Tommy, shut the **** up. You were cool 20 years ago, have several seats while something new and different unfolds for a change.

Ahhhhh Gone Girl is amazing! I just watched it and I'm in love with Ben Affleck. But more importantly Amy Dunne is my hero!

That is how you get back a cheating lying manpilulative ******* that you simply can't live without because it's always like that.

EVERYbody literally is saying the same exact thing yoiu are saying, Luker. I'm on the fence about his comments though.. After his appearance in Super MegaForce its time for fresh faces. He does hog the glory.

Why? Why taint Will & Elizabeth's ending?

It’s about a young man who wants to reconnect with his father, Davy Jones. There’s a curse that prevents him from doing that. I think it’s about how he goes around that and tries to fix it and he has to save his dad.

will and elizabeth been gone since 2007 what do you mean lurker?
