That would be pretty sweet I loved that movie, but I am pretty sure his next horror project will be the Conjuring 2.
Conjuring 2? No please. I never liked it.
I have to really disagree with you there lol. The Conjuring was one of the best horror movies made over the last few years & the box office numbers don't lie especially when it was released in July against better quality movies. The Conjuring 2 is in the works currently & set to be released June of 2016.
I am not even sure what horror movies are slated for 2015 yet. But I am looking forward to Sinister 2, Demonic, & Insidious 3. All should be decent movies hopefully creepy with some good scares!

I'm expecting Conjuring 2 to be close to the first in terms of quality. Should be another excellent piece of work from Wan. I'm hoping he continues to run the paranormal horror genre tired, so a new director can step in and renew the slasher genre. I can dream right? Give it a few years

Glad someone else loved the Conjuring & James Wan really is the only good director bringing out solid horror movies these days. I agree with you about slasher movies needing to make a big come back in horror. Scream & I Know What You Did Last Summer were always my favorite horror movies growing up & the first scary movies I really watched.
I didn't like the Conjuring at all... maybe it was too hyped up for me, but I got nothing out of the film.. ending up laughing way more than I should have. :/
I'm really looking forward to the Poltergeist reboot this summer... it was filmed so long ago, but they are finally pushing for a summer release this year. I hope it's a blockbuster hit because the cast is pretty decent and they have so much more technology to work with.

Hey we can't all laugh during exorcism's & demons haunting families until they practically go crazy like you Mitch haha. But no really the movie while meant for entertainment purposes, I find the real cases the movie was based off on Ed & Lorraine Warren really creepy & interesting. I think that's why I liked the movie so much.
I'm not much into exorcism stuff... its never really scared me tbh. The Exorcist is probably the only one that has actually given me chills haha... I find more realistic movies (like it can happen to anyone) far more terrifying... like The Strangers. Something so simple, yet so scary that everyone has had that fear at least once in their life... being left home alone and you hear a strange bump in the night. That's what really gets me haha
Ghost movies are sort of a medium between the exorcism/possesion genre and realistic genre so I can sometimes enjoy those ones. The PA movies used to scare the crap out of me lol.. no shame

But everyone has their tastes!!
I think the only reason I find some exorcism & demon movies scary is because I am Catholic & have grown up hearing about that stuff. But most movies on that stuff aren't scary to me of course it's hard to find any horror movie that scares me anymore lol. I agree with you the original Exorcist movie was scary as **** when I was younger & the first Paranormal Activity movie for me. Because everyone has heard something in the middle of the night & wondered what the hell made that noise, I feel like the 1st PA played on those fears. The Strangers movie I really liked also because it could happen to anyone & it's scary in general to think normal every day people could commit murder like that for no particular reason besides there crazy as hell.
Dark Skies sucked imo... who lotta nothing happened in that haha Fourth Kind was alright but also really slow too... Signs was great however!! We really need another good scary alien movie (and i'm not talking bout Prometheus 2, which no lie I am excited for haha)
M Night hasn't made a good horror since The Village... Signs & The Sixth Sense were great films! The Village wasn't scary persay, but I loved the twist in it... then he made some mermaid movie and something with mark whalberg and his career went down the shitter lol

The Village was hit or miss, there were some great jumps, but it fell short at times.
His absolute worst film was The Last Airbender... how in the **** do you take the greatest source material of all time and deliver such a disgrace? Blasphemy.

I am not saying Dark Skies & Fourth Kind were that good, but it makes you think about the possibility of aliens ( if there real haha) sneaking around in the middle of the night ******* with you. Then taking you aboard their spacecraft & doing weird test on you. Idk about you, but no thanks to all of the above haha. Also Dark Skies tries to imply that's what happens to all of the missing people in the world. Does anyone have Mulder & Scully from the X-Files on speed dial to solve this mystery lol?

You're wet behind the ears. The Cabin in the woods was the best
Y recent horror movie. Office numbers mean shit. Look at TMNT 2014

Scream was never scary but good. The 3 I Know what you did last summers are the same way. Go back and read the book or black christmas 1974/TCM 1974/hALLOWEEN OR anoes.
Anybody wanna see Jeepers Creepers 3 ? Animorphs? Strangers 2? Has anybody seen Killer Movie? With kaley Cuoco/Jeremy London Torrey Devitto and Damon from thge Vampire Diaries? Good horror movie and deserved a sequel.

Ben Affleck and ‘Gone Girl’ Filmmakers Reteam for ‘Strangers on a Train’ RemakeThey are calling it Strangers. Though the Hitchcock remake–a Warner Bros library title and an adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel–will be its basis, this film will be contemporary and redefined for the times. This one might be best titled Strangers On A Plane, as Affleck will play a variation of the role played by Farley Granger of a tennis pro who is bored with his marriage and wants to get divorced, but instead gets entwined with a wealthy socialite psycho who proposes the notion of exchanging murders. The twist here is a compelling one. Affleck will play a movie star–in the middle of a campaign for an Oscar during awards season–whose private plane breaks down and is given a ride to LA on another plane by a wealthy stranger. In Fincher’s hands, who knows how that goes, but it sure does seem like fertile ground.Hell Yes.
Fincher's upcoming projects just keep sounding better and better!
Does anyone have Netflix recommendations? Particularly comedies because I pretty much exclusively watch comedies or dramadies
Shows or movies?
I was thinking movies, but show recommendations are also welcome
There's this one mockumentary called Touching The Void that I really enjoyed a couple weeks ago!! It was very intense, especially for one of those mountain climbing disaster movies.... and it is all very true!! I'd recommend it
Also there's a website called What The Hell Should I Watch On Netflix? that has some good movie recommendations... usually movies that weren't big or didn't hit theatres that are actually pretty decent!

Have you seen Dark Skies or The Fourth Kind? There both creepy *** alien movies about abductions & visitors of the night.
I have not seen Dark Skies, but I have seen pieces of Fourth Kind.
You should check them out, but not before bed haha. Might be hard to sleep if you do.
