I have always loved MTV scripted series, well except for Teen Wolf. I remember I used to watch RJ Berger all the time back in the day, and I was crushed when it got cancelled. Finding Carter, Awkward and even Faking It have all been great too.
I've heard good things from Finding Carter, but Awkward is just baaaaaaad... i mean i loved Season 1, but that was just about it. That show runs in circles like nobodies business. Faking it on the other hand has just continued to get better for me... S2 is much better than S1 and even that was a great start! I think MTV shows are definitely underrated though... they are way better than half the shit on the CW
I haven't seen season 4 of Awkward yet so I can't comment. Season 2 and 3 have not been as good as season 1, but I wouldn't say they were bad at all. I just recently started watching Faking It, and honestly I wasn't expecting to like at as much as I did. If you haven't watched Finding Carter yet, you totally should. The premise is kinda stupid, but the show is surprisingly really good.
And yes, the CW is just a mess nowadays. The only good shows are Arrow, The 100, Reign and The Flash. The Vampire Diaries has become unwatchable at this point, I gave it a shot but I had to drop it after the atrocious season 4. And by what I heard, season 5 is much worse.
OMG you HAVE to try Jane the Virgin on the CW.... it's actually amazing and soooo funny. I wasn't sure about the premise at first because its pretty soapy (well it is based off of a soap opera ****)... but the outstanding critic reviews and the more polished look of it made me try it. Was not let down one bit... lived up, if not exceeded everything I ever thought.... i'm hooked and in it for the long run.

My mom used to watch the original telenovela and it was horrible, but I have heard great things about it. It's not my show though, but if have nothing else to watch I may try it.

I'm sorry but the "tranny" onh Faking It ruins it for me and yeah Awkward is lame now with the whole thristy *** Matty/Jenna I'm sick of it. Finding Carter is okay but only for Lori. Teen Wolf is hit or miss now more than ever.
Definitely. Seasons 1 and 3A were the best. I like to pretend 2, 3B, and 4 didn't happen. Season 5 production got delayed so they're putting more time and effort into the script, hopefully it pays off.

what "tranny" are you referring to? cause i hope you aren't talking about lauren... or else you really are just an idiot.
IMO, The CW really went down hill after they cancelled the Carrie Diaries. I used to watch that show religiously and I really prefer young Carrie than old carrie. New Carrie is wise and a role model.

Intersex , tranny, what the **** have you, but yeah the one who was dating the black guy. And no that doesn't make me an idiot. Her character tries way to ******* hard man. And the whole premise is absolutely ******* trifle

I
like season
4. The Berserkers are my shit. But yeah they need better cast or characters.
Watching The Hobbit tonight made me think about how beautiful Shannara will be from an aesthetic point of view. New Zealand is so gorgeous and with the right cinematography can be presented so incredibly on film.
With a decent source material, great filming location, what's shaping up to be a fantastic cast, MTV is going to have one of the biggest and best series ever on their hands if they get this right.

Let's just hope they promote the **** out of it (more than Eye Candy).
Was hoping for someone a bit hotter with darker hair and a darker sultry complexion, but she'll do. The 5 major leads have been cast. Filming begins in 12 days. And MTV is en route to either a game changing revival or finally succumbing to failure and going six feet under. Praying for the former.
The Returned focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people, who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences.
ahhh can't wait for Bates Motel after the Season 2 finale... went to a whole new level with the Norma/Norman relationship haha so messed up
Did they really went there? I was expecting it but not this soon. I have to catch up on season 2 ASAP.
I have to catch up on the whole series...
You definitely have to, the first season was amazing. The first couples of episodes from the second season weren't as exciting, but it apparently picks up at the end of the season.

They didn't go all the way there yet haha don't worry... but it was definitely an advancement in their relationship.. and im not talking mother/son family relationship haha it was gross and awkward and i don't even know what they will do with it in S3.. heeby jeebies
Excited to see how this one turns out. I wish it were a remake/reboot or simply inspired by the Spielberg film instead of a continuation, but whatever.
It is set 10 years after the end of Precrime in DC. One of the three Precogs struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future, when he meets a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.
Saw an ad for "Eye Candy" today while playing quiz up. MTV really is trying with this show and it has a lot of potential. Let's hope the viewers tune in and rating for MTV go up as a whole. If not the MTV really is doomed.

Fox is really thirsty with all these old as shows. Empire is their game now and trumps the rest of these mediocre shows we are talking about. That is all.
It will be on HBO, it just started filming, I think, and Paul Dano (brilliant actor) and Helena Bonham Carter (who was in Fight Club, my favourite film ever!) will be in it. All this gives me hope, but the fact that the main guy is a newcomer kind of scares me.
The show will be about a young african-american guy entering New York's high society.

Yup! I stay on top of almost all things HBO. With Steve McQueen at the helm, I have high hopes.

I can't imagine it not getting heavily promoted. With that big budget, they can't afford for it to flop.
John Travolta To Star In FX’s ‘American Crime Story: People Vs. O.J.’
Nope. I'm out.
'Pan's Labyrinth' star Ivana Baquero joins MTV's 'Shannara'

Anyone see empire? Great pilot.
I saw it got huge ratings for FOX, so I might give it a chance.

No but for real Empire was A1.
Anyone heard about Codes Of Conduct?
