He learned it online like he learned everythign. I just liked how it was more psychological and more disturbing rather than like a huge hollywood block buster thriller where he goes all shining on people.

Yeah don't get me wrong I really did like the movie & thought it was great. Was just pointing something out that I thought was a little unrealistic.
Only superhero film I give a damn about. Paul Rudd is going to kill it.
Paul Rudd? Really now? What is so attractive about him I don't understand why most guys like him. I mean he was good in H6 and Clueless but after that I stopped caring for him. On the other side Ant Man movie sounds about as ridiculous as that Doctor Strange flick coming relatively soon.
Lurker that's a really cool idea & you should go for it see what you can come up with. I have tons of ideas for horror movies. Me & my brother mess around with ideas & working on horror scripts.
I was writing a horror movie script a long time ago... got about 60 pages in and never finished... supposed to be a campy throwback to horror movies of the 80s with a few twists thrown in.... 3 friends (with some serious sexually charged emotions) decide to go camping over their reading week and run into a newylwed couple who are having a honeymoon nightmare. The 5 are stalked by an unknown killer as they try to make their way back to their cars (which is difficult seeing as its pitch black and someone ripped down the path markers)... heads roll (literally) and suprise twists come at every corner! I called it The Secluded... I wish I finished it.
Other unfinished scripts that I got a good chunk out of were:
The Good Years - A Coming of Age drama cenetered around 4 best friends in the 80s who make a trip around the world after their college graduation and learn a lot about life, love, and each other... the time line is also split between the events of the 80s and in present day, where they are now in their 40s, living completely new lives having lost touch with one another all those years later. It will show how their lives will eventually intersect in many profound and different ways... I actually really enjoyed writing this one! Hopefully I can finish it one day
The Monster - A horror movie inspired by true-events of The Monster of Florence... a notorious serial killer(s) that is believed to have never been caught (many suspects, many arrests, but never a confession). Back in the 70s and 80s, the monster stalked and killed loved ones who were either on vacation or just innocent locals... now 30 years later, an eerily similar attack has been committed, just as two girls arrive in Florence to meet up with a couple they used to know in high school. The four become entangled in the monster's slew of victims and must figure out a way to stop him.... whoever he is...
I've had a lot of ideas for stuff too... was writing a possible Jurassic Park sequel that I believe had an aweosme plot (it was supposed to be for IV before they released the plot, but it can still be used as a fifth or sixth installment... apparently Jurassic World is the beginning of a new trilogy).... but yeah it focused on Costa Rica being quarantined after the dinos had found their way to the mainland. A radicalist group called the Jurassic World Initiative, who's focus is to repopulate the world with dinos as a form of the next step in evolution, comes head-to-head with InGen, a company once headed by John Hammond - then turned evil - now turned good again, headed by Tim Murphy (John's grandson)... both groups are out to find the lost data that has the only answer to dinosaur replication, which could help speed the process of cloning or give the answer to reversing the evolution (depends on whos hands it gets in)... but yeah both groups end up being trapped in the jungles of the quarantined Costa Rica areas where they must fight off the dinos and each other. A New Dawn: Jurassic World
sorry for the rambling haha I get into my movie plots
Kay so I definitely want to see the good years and your jurassic park so get to workin on those scripts mitchypoo!!
OMG, speaking of scripts, I wrote like 13 years worth of television for a show I been working on since around late 2000 I gave up on it around 2008 with a cliffhanger and evenn had the characters reunite like the original challenge days (yeah I went there)
I also wrote a script for a horror movie after I seen ISKWYDLS in theaters but after Joy Ride and Elisha's Captivity movie I threw the shit away. lol.

ank you, Jamie. But before you sip your tea I could not for the life of me decide on a title for the series and the movie script was called Phear yeah I'm glad I didn't finish it because with movies like The Faculty, Disturbing Behaviour, Teaching Ms. Tingle They probably would've put it through development hell. Not going to mention the idea I had for the movie poster. lol.
Also, do you guys really believe that each page is a minute long theory when it comes to tv/movie scripts.
Also, do you guys really believe that each page is a minute long theory when it comes to tv/movie scripts.
Yeah its fairly accurate... most scripts I have read range within 90 - 120 pages... which if the theory rings true would be 1 1/2 - 2 hour movie... average. So I'd say yes, I believe in the theory!!! I've never taken a screenwriting course, but I've read up on it multiple times and that is usually the basis you rely on when writing

That's whats up. Thanks for the fast reply, Mitch.
I forgot to come on Halloween night last week but for what it's worth what did you guys watch for those that do movies? I watched Terror Train, Halloween and H2O-Resurrection (before he showed up because that mask is ******* creepy). I do however want to know if i'm the only one who seen the original Terror Train and Prom Night movies.
I watched all of the Halloween movies & Friday the 13th movies throughout the week leading up to Halloween since Amc kept showing marathons. But I prefer newer movies like the Conjuring, Sinister, & Annabelle. Another creepy movie made by James Wan that not everyone knows about is Dead Silence I recommend watching it. To your other question I have seen the original Prom Night.

I didn't really know you quit watching it, but I took a good guess. Since I haven't seen you post anything under the American Horror Story thread anymore.

You should definitely watch episode 4 it was so good. But I will warn you the ending of episode 5 is disturbing. I have faith in you Jamie that you will be brave & catch up on all the episodes tomorrow during the day of course haha.

Yeah definitely!! I saw them filming that scene at that ****** motel... the whole background is all CGI there cause my high school is like right beside that (no idea why that motel is still standing there... but it has been used for a lot of creepy movie settings :P)

Its ok going to see it to see the film itself and the goodbye. But why the **** are the originals STILL back together? That's agitating.
