I saw someone do this for BB and I thought it would be cool if we all talked about the seasons we watched and what we thought of them.
I'm fairly new to Survivor so I've only seen a couple of seasons, but I'm trying to catch up. Vanuatu - decided to watch it because I loved Eliza on Micronesia. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of the Men vs. Women twist, this seasons did not dissapoint. This season had great female characters in Ami, Twila and Eliza, even though I think Chris was a very deserving winner. Cook Islands - decided to watch it because I have heard great things about it, but the season was not that impressive to me. The only thing I really enjoyed was the Aitu's underdog story (it also introduced us to the great Parvati). China - this season had a great cast, between Queen Courtney, Peih Gee, James (I don't like him but he is really popular), Amanda (same as James) and Frosti, the season was really enjoyable. I also really loved the cool location and how they infused some of the chinee culture onto the challenges. Micronesia - this season was solid, but I feel like we barely got to know the fans. I loved the hole "Black Widow Brigade" and it was funny how every guy fell into their trap. One of my favorite moments have to be when Erik handed her immunity necklace to Natalie, only to be voted out on that tribal council. Tocantins - this season is really solid, but I hated all the focus they put on Coach. It was like Jeff had a crush on him. Heroes vs. Villains - I'm currently midway the season, but it has show a lot of promise. Apart from a few people, this cast is like a dream, especially Courtney. Cagayan - this has to be my favorite season hands down (it was also the first season I have seen). Even though who I wanted to win didn't win, the cast was almost flawless. Almost on every tribal council there was a blindside. Chaos Kass was awesome to watch and when she flipped and voted out Sarah is one of the best moments of the show (from what I've seen). There wasn't any background characters and everyone got a chance to shine. Next on my watchlist: Gabon Palau The Australian Outback Pearl Islands Africa
The cast to Cagayan was far from flawless. Though they do have 4 people that will be asked back in the future, which I suppose is quite a few.

It sucks, because I love her, but they probably won't ask Trish back, hope I'm wrong though. Question, what would be a flawless cast for you? I think this is the best we have had in a while.
Agreed I think Cagayan had a good cast. It was a breath of Fresh Air.
I liked Jefra I hope they invite her back
I liked Jefra I hope they invite her back
Jefra was my favorite, she was so hot and her accent was so cute and I think she was severely underrated. For the guys my favorite was definitely Woo, even though he played it dumb at the end.
I've watched 1 season, fairly new where they bring one of their loved ones or something, but do you guys have any season to recommend?
I've watched 1 season, fairly new where they bring one of their loved ones or something, but do you guys have any season to recommend?
You should definitely watch Cagayan, Gabon and maybe Vanuatu.
Im watching heroes vs. villains right now, really enjoying it.
Blood vs Water 2 better rock, because I've had it with the current season of Big Brother.
Im watching heroes vs. villains right now, really enjoying it.
That's definitely one of the best ones
Thought it would be cool to see how Cagayan survivors did compared to how I thought they would preseason: David: shocking, thought he would gp very far and be very good at the game Garrett: what I expected Brice: thought he would either go early or make it deep in tbe game, wrong skde of the numbers killed him. J'Tia: by far the biggest surprise, I thought she would dominate, she did remain a fun character though. Cliff: exactly what I expected. Lindsey: thought she'd leave premerge but not by quitting Alexis: expected her to make it deep into the merge and be kind of like Andrea Sarah: huge disappointment with how naive she was. Morgan: thought she would have a bigger presence and be our resident female villain LJ: expected him to win, so him going so soon was a shock. Jeremiah: expected this kind of finish for him Jefra: thought she would go far with a strong male, so somewhat happened? Tasha: I expected a great social game and a deep run, but not a challenge beast. Trish: great surprise, one of the best players and an underrated character. Spencer: expected a huge ****** villain, 100% surprised Kass: I thought she'd be irrelevant hahahahha I was VERY wrong Woo: thought he would finish mid merge, predicted his hilarious character though Tony: he seemed like a huge ****** who would have a huge downfall and if he did make it far would be Russell 2.0 happily surprised
I was hoping to check back in to see what others' thoughts were. Share guys! :(
I was hoping to check back in to see what others' thoughts were. Share guys! :(
David: I figured he'd be a late premerge boot, he struck me as arrogant. Glad he was out first. Garrett: I thought he would last a long time, but I was perfectly fine with him going second. Brice: As expected. He was hilarious though, wish he would've gone further. J'tia: I thought she would go far, and Tasha would go early. Cliff: I expected an early post merge boot. Lindsey: I predicted she's go first. Alexis: Was so pissed she went premerge! I thought she would go deep jury. Sarah: I wanted her to go far, but expected her to be targeted early. Morgan: Loved her, was hoping she'd be a super mega ***** and guaranteed a spot on HvV2. Expected her to go early. LJ: I predicted final 4. Jeremiah: Premerge. Jefra: Premerge. Tasha: See J'tia. So glad I was wrong though, I LOVE TASHA! Trish: Final Tribal Council. Spencer: Winner. Kass: First out if Lindsey wasn't. Woo: Premerge or early post merge. Tony: I honestly never thought about Tony in the beginning. He was a great character though! I love Corinne Kaplan. Especially when she rants about Sugar. Enough said.

She's so mean and a *****, but there's something about her that I love.

I think it's time for another All-Stars season. Maybe divide the tribes by generations. Everyone that appeared before Heroes vs. Villains on one side and the ones that appeared after HvV on the other. I'm gonna make a fantasy cast.

I think it's time for another All-Stars season

With them bringing back previous Survivors almost every season, an All Star season just doesn't excite me as much as it once did.

I liked the idea when I heard there may be a "Legends" theme for season 30... basically AS3 but with some old vets and newbies (instead of just an AS group from the past 5-10 seasons)... I think it was scrapped though. I heard they want to focus more on just having new people every season insead of returnees.

My thing is I don't like when they bring a few old players back or half a tribe. If they want to just have returnees than just do all returnees instead of incorporating new players in the mix. I was not a fan of the fans vs. favorites concept. But All-Stars, HvV and even BvW were all great seasons.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Legends or all winners season.

You couldn't have said it better. Usually when there's a few returning players and all the other are newbies, the returning players tend to overshadow the newbies. Have either all newbies or all returning players.

All winners would be great but Sandra better be voted off first lol

I don't think they'd be able to get enough winners to come back, but that would be amazing... and AGREED... hated Sandra (I will always say Parvati was the true winner of HvV)

I completely agree I never got why people liked Sandra. She's useless in challenges.

I read in an article somewhere that had Parvati saying that an all winners season was unlikely because there were too many "boring" winners.  Also I love Sandra because of her character and the fact that she doesn't care what people think and at times will say what's on her mind.

Parv was the exact same... except parv did things instead of sitting back and really doing nothing to deserve that million. Bitter jury members that season ruined everything imo

Honestly. I think an all-star season is the LAST thing they should do. I'm tired of returning players. They should just keep on doing seasons with new people.

Amen. Who the hell wants to see Parvarti, Ozzy, Amanda, or James for the 4th ******* time? If season 30 is good, I doubt they'll go back to returnees anytime soon.

I adore Parvati, but she did so many things wrong in HvV. At least she isn't as terrible as Russell in lacking any awareness that she thought she could beat Sandra at FTC.  A bitter jury is made bitter because of the castaways IMO.
