Okay this show is amazing! Its already 3 episodes in and I'm A) confused which isn't bad but very amused. Its the first HBO show besides Sex and the City that I'm really getting into. You guys should watch it!
I love it so far!!! Very melancholic... confusing (obviously from the creators of LOST lol)... and intriguing! Lots of characters and storylines that all intertwine with one another. It's definitely not for some (pretty slow pace and little is revealed about anything), but I love it! Excited to see where it goes! (plus Justin Theroux is gorgeous)

Gorgeous! But I agree. Plus, the characters have a lot of depth. They all have a story and you wanna know more about them.
Is anyone else scared that this show will go nowhere, much like Lost the last few seasons? I'm still watching and I like what I see, although at times it feels like we are treading water. I still need to watch Sunday's episode. Hopefully there is a clear reason to watch (i.e. semblance of a linear plot) in the near future. The cast is great and the acting is amazing, but overall it feels empty. Like it's missing something.
Still have not a clue what is going on... but I keep coming back week after week haha... there's something there. I just want to know what it is!!! They need to stop asking questions and making us more confused... I need answers... and even Patti's speech in last nights ep, where she attempts to explain the GR's beliefs... I don't get it!!! hahaha Someone, quick, read the book and esssplainnnn it all to moiiiii :D

I plan on re-watching last nights episode tonight. I was half asleep and was pretty confused as well.
BUT DAMN Justin Theroux...that is all.
If it wasn't for this subreddit, I'd be in the dark and still lost. I don't read the spoilers, but I do read the episode discussions and there is so much there I was missing - that it totally changed how I view the show.

Aaaand subbed. Squee!
What's with the shirts?!?
Uuugh, and as a former smoker, damn if that GR doesn't make me want to SMOKE A DAMN CIGARETTE.
(Don't worry B, I won't, but STILL) :/
Patti was my favorite. She spoke truth. I'm sad she killed her self. Meg is also turning into a little firecracker and I love it. Also, screw Nora! I don't like her. After she told that women to shoot her I was just in complete shock. Nora's episode was very powerful though and showed just how people handle grief differently. At least that's what I took from it.
I'm kinda starting to get the show, but there are still so many holes and unanswered questions and peoples names I forget, but I'm hooked. I don't want it to end next week. I just hope it gets a season 2!

Two more episodes (also a 2 week break between the penultimate ep and the finale... damnnnnn!!) And it was renewed for Season 2 last week!!! Woooo :D
I really liked this last episode, poignant as it was. Even though it was obvious from the start that it was a flashback, it actually didn't occur to me that we'd be getting a glimpse into exactly what was going on right up until the exact moment of the departure. It really hammered home how completely bizarre and unexpected it was, and it made me able to relate to some of the characters more.
I thought the acting was really spot-on. It's amazing what a difference braces and a higher voice makes for Jill. She seemed completely different.
Laurie's baby presumably disappearing from the womb was pretty creepy. It almost makes it a little bit easier to understand why she is the way she is now.
Oh! And also, when Laurie was on her way to her Dr. appt, and she was next to the woman with the screaming baby in her backseat at the stop light....Was that the same woman from the premiere?? I need to go find out. The timing seems to be right.
And **** you Kevin for sleeping with that random Jolene. I hate cheaters and now I kind of hate you :mad-new:
Yes that was the same woman!! She was also in the 3rd episode about the priest (he was in the car accident that happens on the street behind her)
I loved this episode!!! Was really hoping we'd get some flashbacks.. and they give us a full episode flashback!? awesome!!! Loved seeing how everyone interacted before the event... their personalities, their appearances, their family dramas pre-departure... it was all very eye opening and interesting. And I totally shed a tear when everyone disappeared... Nora's family, Laurie's baby, Kevin's mistress, Tommy & Jill's science group... it was crazy! (btw can i just say how much I love the score they came up with for the show... they play it non-stop but i never get tired of hearing it haha)

I didn't feel sorry for her :p
Oh but its sooooo true OPD!!! I just know it... we will get maybe like one thing answered... and then, BAM, cliffhanger, end of show! But I can't wait haha

I like to focus on the positive. I mean, I usually end up disappointed...but still!
3 days....3 DAYS!!
3 days until we are left hanging for an entire year.
Just downloaded the book, can't wait to start reading it! Then I'm going to watch the show and see what the buzz is all about!
Geez, B, no need to be a downer!
