i just realized the poster for the new season can say "the end is near" and also "is the end near?"

damn leftovers and all it's unanswered questions Blum 3

I watched the season 2 finale again last week. So ******* good. I can't wait!

OH MY ******* GOD!!!! THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZINGGGGGG

The trailer definitely looks ****** up lol

Still can't believe it's coming to an end. One of the best shows ever made and no one watches it... and I still have no idea why not? Like seriously what are you guys actually watching instead of good tv? CSI? Bones? Supernatural? Law & Order? Chicago ___? Like c'mon watch something GOOD like THIS!!!!

This final trailer looks INCREDIBLE

Agreed Mitch. This is easily the best show on television.

WHY DID I LITERALLY THINK THIS THREAD WAS MADE TO MAKE FUN OF THE "LEFT OVER" WEAK PEOPLE IN DEEP WATERS THAT'LL GET WHOOPED IN THE FINALE AGAINST A STRONGER BOAT? LMAO

Someone even said something about "The leftovers". Wow that's funny.

So....the season premier was tonight.

Jesus Christ, this show is so good. Thank God for The Leftovers.

Jesus Christ, this show is so good. Thank God for The Leftovers.

one of the best series finales i have ever seen in my life.

nothing was answered. everything was answered. and then it ended.

it was perfectly ambiguous while also letting the viewer decide what is true or not. this is honestly the best 3 seasons of television i have ever watched, and I am so thankful i have been with it from the very start. it's not a show for everyone, whether that be because of it's depressing tones and/or it's ambiguous material that leaves all the questions up to the viewer's opinion. It was never fake. It never promised anything to the viewer. It was just three chapters: a beginning, a middle, and an end.. perfectly laid out, and perfectly told. Excellent writing, excellent acting, and excellent directing all around. The only show to make me cry and laugh almost every episode. I am so thankful to HBO letting the creators have one final season to finish the series despite its very low viewership, and it was completely worth it. Everyone that missed this show, missed out on something truly special.

This is what good TV is.

So sad this amazing show is over Cray 2

I'm in tears. This was absolutely perfect. At first I was disappointed that they actually attempted to explain the Departure. Then I realized they didn't really explain anything. We don't what part of Nora's monologue was true, especially after that ambiguous "I don't lie" in the beginning of the episode. All we know is that love is in fact the answer. The doves came back home.

I will miss it, but I'm not sad it's over. I'm happy Perrotta and Lidlelof were able to tell the story on their terms and give it the ending it deserved.
