That is nothing new. None of CTs other possible partners are in attendance on the Challenge so it would have to be Diem.
And Wes has long been confirmed.

A lot of people didn't know CT was doing this one. Most likely he changed or someone changed their mind last minute

It's actually Bananas vs. Zach, Johnny R. Jordan, Dustin, CT, Knight, Wes and Danny. IF THEY ARE SMART,
but honestly I don't believe Bananas would do this challenge where he's back is against the wall pretty much from day 1. There will be something that will help him survive some days there. Maybe the girls vote....

If the format is the same as the first one then I can't see them coming in last especially with horrible teams like Knight & Jemmye or Danny & Melinda. They will probably win missions anyway plus Johnny is great friends with Diem so I dont think shed throw them in

I think Dustin is too good friends with Nany and Jessica was cool with Bananas, so I do not think they are against them.
Leroy and Knight get along with both Alliance and Bananas
the first elimination should give us a clue on how alliances are working.
But its funny how we think alliances can go, and in the end its really dissapointed because turns out everyone worked together.

Does half the cast get prize money? At some point, no matter how cool they are with each other the numbers game will cause these guys to throw each other in way before the end. Besides, usually these guys just go with the game flow. A couple teams will separate themselves ahead of the pack and other teams will be reluctant to throw the top teams in per usual.

They could vote him in but which pair of teams is going to take the risk of going in against a strong team. It depends on the elimination games, Banana's shape, and how the rules are structured more than pre game alliances.
Ct and Bananas always make it far and battle each other.
Rivals: final elimination
Exes: final
Rivals 2: final
Free Agents: final elimination
I could see Zach getting the Exes' Ct treatment and not seeing an elimination because the guys are scared 1v1 but they also see the lack of endurance as a positive for the final, plus not a strong female partner.
Zach, Ct, Bananas final three wouldn't surprise me though I hope Wes makes it in there.
Wes, Bananas, and Ct are the only challengers I would consider old school players from the Duel 1 and back. I resonate more with these "personalities" because of this, something lacks with the new characters, they aren't as interesting.

As you said it is a numbers game. And the numbers are on your side if you're part of a strong alliance regardless of where you rank in that alliance. Your odds of winning are better when you're in the final 5 as opposed to the final 10.

I think at least initially CT, Zach and probably Johnny would back Bananas over Jordan - then be like sorry Bananas you got to go
Just to keep things interesting, I hope Bananas gets eliminated first, then CT and then others have fair chance of winnings and it is everyones game. I am bored to death if finale is, once again CT, Zack/Wes and Bananas

Jordan is bff with Johnny R and Boston Alliance. It was his idea to go against bananas, asked Portland Johnny to vote him in what he happily did for his friend.
CT just hates Bananas, they always have something against each other, and Bananas put CT and CM in what ****** him off.
Jordan is paired with Sarah. There is no way alliance supports Bananas over Jordan.
