I cant say but--This final is very similar to Exes, the season where Johnny did beat CT.

Yeah especially as this could/would have been a decider between the two (based on finals they stand at 1-1)
Bananas would've smoked CT in this final if you ask me. Longer, more grueling finals where endurance and mental toughness come into play heavily favor Bananas. The final on Rivals 2 brought neither into play. It was short and intense, which is right in CT's wheelhouse.

I don't think long distance is CT's strong point (see exes)
Exactly. The Rivals 2 final only really consisted of short bursts of running from the checkpoints and the station where they had to return their stuff to after completing each checkpoint. I think on a final like last night's and on Exes where it's overnight and your body and mind are being placed under constant, intense stress the further and longer you go that guys like Bananas just have that ability to block it all out and keep going and guys like CT & Zach just hit a wall and start breaking down.

He & Diem set a blistering pace on Exes which ended up being his downfall. He was out of shape (for CT) which was apparent when he had to run on the beach carrying Diem. Bananas and Camilla, in following behind, were able to exert less energy using the footsteps Diem and CT made going up the glacier. Diem, being lighter, didn't go as far down into the snow as CT and she was in tip top shape. It was a shame it worked out that way for them ~ they were killing it until almost the very end.
