What is this??? Why do they keep having these mini interviews with CT? First the one about Cara Maria, now Bananas. Why aren't any other cast members getting these interviews. I'd rather hear from other cast members, CT is boring this season.
I'm probably a little late to the party, since the overwhelming majority of viewers really like him, but I'm coming around on him. He wasn't my favorite (Leroy), but he was near the bottom of my "dislike list," with that honor going to Frank. He's now okay in my mind. Still can't stand the large number of people who take his side no matter what he does, and give a guy like Wes hell for doing the same stuff, but that's a different matter.

I wouldn't consider myself a biased CT fan, although he is currently my favorite Challenge member, but I don't think Wes' actions are comparable to CT. I'm ambivalent about Wes. At times I like him because everyone hates him, but there are times when he rubs me the wrong way, which is pretty difficult to do when I've made up my mind to like you. I'm not sure if he's just enacting some type of personality for the sake of the show, but it gets really obnoxious. I don't recall him being that bad on his RW season, so a part of me believes the rumors that his comments and actions are partially fueled by an attempt to sell his personality on the show. Some of his confessionals have a false air about them, like he's thinking of things to say that will push people's buttons. I didn't like his condescending attitude when he was partnered with CT either. CT is kind of easy to figure out. He has an aggressive streak, he's quick to anger, but he's got an attitude that is pretty laid back when it comes to past conflicts. Wes by comparison seems to thrive on conflict. I like Wes to some extent, but he doesn't make it easy to like him.

I'm pretty sure it's been said by many other cast members that both Wes and CT have "television personas" that they put on when being filmed for a Challenge. They know what types of attitudes, sound bites, and confrontations bring drama and ratings simply because they've done so many of these and are experienced at providing that entertainment.

I disagree to an extent. You can see and feel the genuine in CT when he's angry or being violent, doesn't have any lick of scripted in it. Wes is different.

Wes seemed pretty genuine when he got in Johnny's face on The Ruins and made his water jump out of his water bottle lol.

I'm referring to his confessionals.
I just realized something it seems like every season CT has a different character. You've got CT the Boston Bad *** and you've got Chris a normal athletic guy from Boston. If you look at his seasons you see which character he's portraying like on RW: Paris, Inferno 2, Inferno 3, Gauntlet 3, Duel 2, Rivals, and Rivals 2 he's CT whereas on Inferno, Duel, Battle of the Exes, and Free Agents he's Chris.

I agree. I love CT but he is very hard to read. I think he is like that in real life as well because Kenny said in an interview sometimes he gets along with him but he is just a weird guy.

I feel he's partially bi polar or has abused cocaine in his life. Not to jump and accuse,but I have a cousin who is JUST like CT and, well, I won't say the rest.

Kenny and Evan have implied the drug abuse thing several times on Derek's podcast, but they talk a lot of smack so I'm not sure what's actually true and what's embellishment

Ct and knight both have raspy voices. My cousin who was used to use, has a raspy voice. A lot of users I've met had raspy voices.

There is no way he retires, CT and Bananas need to be in every challenge now that Kenny and Evan are banned from competing. Say what you want about CT, Bananas and Wes but they drive the ratings. Everytime i talk challenge with friends who dont watch regularly they always ask is CT on this season? How is Wes doing? Im sure their appearance fees are quite a bit of money so I dont see why those three arent on every season. I get Wes has a real business to run but CT and Bananas are needed every season.
