While the debates rage on about "who is the greatest" and "who did better" the fact is this is a REALITY show. **** a Game Show Act, if they like certain people enough or think a certain person brings in ratings they'll make sure said person does well in the game. There are a lot more politics that go on with this show besides the game.
So you believe that production secretly rigs everything so that Bananas always wins, and everyone else is just fooled into thinking they have a chance?
So you believe that production secretly rigs everything so that Bananas always wins, and everyone else is just fooled into thinking they have a chance?
That's probably what they really do. I mean Johnny has a fan base and it would benefit having the show from having that Idiot on. Not to mention that he probably has friends it production. It would make sense.
That's probably what they really do. I mean Johnny has a fan base and it would benefit having the show from having that Idiot on. Do you think BMP would actually like to have seen him win the Island, Ruins, and Exes when he was terrible on the Island, was predictable on the Ruins, and everyone wanted CT/Diem to win?

Justin Booth also said in an interview that he didn't want Johnny to win Exes. I'd be willing to bet that production preferred Kenny and Wes or CT and Adam to win Rivals. It just backfired when they tried to make it a closer finish.
Like I said, "certain people". So are yall denying that there are politics based on who they ask to come back & there are people who are good friends with production? Explain why Preston has been on now 3 challenges in a row. Explain why they keep trying to make Jasmine, Theresa & Camila happen. Like Debut said, the fact that they've made him the "face" of the show with his little fanbase and what not it would not surprise me at all. Isn't Big Brother's producer Alison Grodner known for rigging & shaping outcomes? Don't act like producers don't shake things up a little to end up with a certain outcome that would be "better TV". Beth v.s. Svetlana? Hell since I saw it be brought up, you can throw in Johnny v.s. CT on Cutthroat. That alone is a perfect example.

BMP probably tries to ensure people stay in the game who have big storylines like Laurel/CM getting a physical elimination round against JJ, but I really don't see them rigging the show for Bananas who is one of the bigger ********** people frequently root against.

They could care less about the people not liking him, as evident with him being brought back so many times.
While people may root against him, i'm sure he's good friends with production.
Even then, unless there is any proof on your end (and considering no castmember has even mentioned anything about this) there really is no argument here.
LOL they wouldn't tell the castmembers anyway, especially if they're too stupid to see it themselves and/or its in the contract. They don't care about these people, they care about making a show. While I don't have proof, its just something to think about.
Do you need more straws to grasp on? This is pathetic. Do you think BMP would actually like to have seen him win the Island, Ruins, and Exes when he was terrible on the Island, was predictable on the Ruins, and everyone wanted CT/Diem to win?
You really think any of that matters? They still could've rigged all of those shows for him to win./or at make it far I mean yeah sometimes it backfires but for the most part it works. Infact I'm Willing to bet they planned Isaac drawing the kill card so they can give Backpack the easy win. So he could stay longer.
Why were they trying to make it a closer finish though? Why not just let it play out? That's what i'm getting at.
They made it closer because they didn't anticipate Kenny and Wes beating Tyler and Johnny up the mountain by an hour. The Day 2 activities only took half an hour. Had they let Kenny and Wes keep the entirety of their lead they would've finished before Johnny and Tyler even started. They had to do it or else there would've been no point to the second day. Trust me, no one is rigging anything in Johnny's favor. The producer of the show said they were openly rooting against him and Camila on Exes in favor of CT/Diem. He and Derrick also confirmed in a podcast that production pulled them, Kenny and Evan aside during the Ruins and threatened them with never being allowed on the show again if they threw the challenge to get rid of Susie. They brought CT in on Cutthroat when it wasn't even the final elimination...just because it was Johnny and they wanted to see him get trashed. He's not getting any help.

I also said the Cutthroat thing was rigged. That's why I said CERTAIN PEOPLE, not just Johnny (but he has benefitted from a lot of it). That whole Susie thing is quite suspicious too, I might add. I don't know how yall are saying prodcution doesn't pull some strings when yall are giving me evidence lol.
So then why not just let it be no point to the second day? According to the rules, they earned that lead so they should have been able to keep it. That's why I said CERTAIN PEOPLE, not just Johnny (but he has benefitted from a lot of it).
I would assume that that's just how they designed the final. It doesn't happen the day before. Especially since that final featured a location change...they had to have the course planned out way in advance. If they had to invest time and money into finding vantage points to film from and riggings to get the shots they need on that mountain why would they just cancel the second day? I'm not saying there's no rigging. I was just saying I don't think any's really helped Johnny out...in fact it's hurt him in a few spots. But I remember on AfterBuzz they had Mark Long on and they were talking about how they think that the Draw this season is rigged and he said that he's called production out before on stuff and they've showed it to him. He specifically said on Duel 2 he called them out saying that the upside down cards were all the same game and they were manipulating what eliminations happened...production then flipped over all the cards and they were all different. I'm sure some subtle stuff goes on...but not was much as we think.
And as far as Exes, I could care less but while they SAID they wanted CT & Diem to win, that outcome would've been very predictable & probably would've put the producers on the spot. I'm sure they are thinking 2 steps ahead.
Honestly that Final challenge for Rivals was just stupid and made no sense. That should've been 1 day and 1 day only. No overnights and no head starts. Just have them run it straight through and whoever wins wins.
Let's be honest, even if certain people get cool with producers just to get on the next challenge they STILL have to prove themselves in missions, eliminations, and finals. Preston can come back every single challenge but will he ever win one? Hell no, he's not athletically fit to win a final let alone a physical or endurance draining elimination.

It would've gotten dark on them and it would've been way too dangerous. Plus they always want it to be nice and bright out for when they hoist the trophy and get the check. I agree though with your premise...I would've maybe cut off the canoe and just had them start from where the Pet Rock thing was.

The whole location change thing is quite pointless anyway for a company that claims it can't do certain things because of a budget they have to abide by. I would agree with Mark. I mean Isaac & Jasmine get the Kill card....really? Add to that both Johnny & Laurel are a big part of the current storyline right now & it adds up.

He basically said that they've accused production of being fishy but then production pulled back the curtain and it was all legit. Johnny and Laurel would've smashed every one of their potential opponents other than CT...they didn't NEED to rig anything. I'd buy them setting it up such that CT does the draw first so he has the highest odds of not getting the card though.

It's up to the challengers to pick whatever card they want, producers don't tell cast members they have to pick this card or else they get fined or something like that. The show isn't scripted. Isaac and Jasmine got the kill cards by pure chance.

Just as long as he's on TV i'm sure that's fine with him. Meanwhile better competitors who want to do these shows have to sit & watch at home. They could ask Eric from NO 2 to come on one. I'm sure he would add at least a little bit more than Preston has but he's not "in the mix" with producers. Without Leslie, Preston is basically a beanbag sofa in the house.

If that Final was that long then they should've shorten it to the point that it could be done in a day.
Well then you don't agree with Mark. He basically said that they've accused production of being fishy but then production pulled back the curtain and it was all legit. That's my bad lol but at least he was thinking outside the box for a moment. Did CT do the Draw first? If so, that's a legit point in itself.

Not to say every single aspect of it is scripted but this is a "reality" show above anything else. If they want certain outcomes, they'll try their hardest to get certain outcomes.
I misread the Mark thing. That's my bad lol but at least he was thinking outside the box for a moment. Did CT do the Draw first? If so, that's a legit point in itself.
CT did it first. But someone has to. Johnny would've easily beaten Preston and would've likely beaten Cohutta so long as he could get his hands on him (and I like Cohutta...just being realistic). Johnny was going to win that elimination 3/4 times...the odds were in his favor. If they really wanted Johnny around why give Camila and Preston bogus DQs on that challenge and put Johnny in a position to potentially go home to begin with?
Preston would have gotten the kill card not Isaac If this was rigged the final 4 girls will be Laurel, Cara Maria, Camila & Theresa and the final 4 guys will be CT, Zach, Bananas and Leroy so we shall see I think it this was as rigged as you want to believe Dustin is still here and so is Nia
If Johnny could've beat any potential opponents like the other dude said then it didn't matter who he got as long as Johnny could beat them & stay in the game. With this cast its quite obvious Laurel is the clear front runner & they are obviously ready to give her a win so if anything it would be set up for her to not have any type of competition in the final. With the men its more of "who do most of the fans watch the show for". As much as I like Nia, she really didn't give them anything on the show so she was expendable. As far as Dustin who knows but i'm sure nobody really cared about his storyline. Even with Frank, they saw he turned a new leaf this season...so he was expendable. Why send him home making up a lie about him being contagious when he obviously wasn't + he said himself he was in good enough condition to stay?
