This is just a random observation, but does anyone get gay vibes from Ryan? I've been sensing that from him since the first episode, which is strange considering he's dating girls on the show like everyone else and had an attractive ex show up in episode four. This drama is TV GOLD. The gay guy comforting the hyperventalating girl and the anxiety girl feeling bad! Simone about to go hurricane Nia and whoop the wannabe Jamie's girls butt. This show is so underrated in my opinion :)

Still say the cast found out about the perfect matches or it is somewhat scripted. Only reason Adam voted for Joey and Brittany. The reason the cast voted out Chris T and Paige, because they didn't like Chris T and they didn't need to eliminate match ups because they knew the perfect matches. Anyone know if there are cast members (perfect matches or not) still together after the show, because the only one I saw was Coleysia and Dillan on Twitter? The matches are done. My predictions are Coleysia and Dillon (a match), Paige and Chris T (a match), Kayla and Wes, Ryan and Jessica, Shanley and Adam, Ashleigh and John, Simmone and Scali, Amber and Ethan, Jacy and Joey, and Dre and Brittnany!

I hate Kayla so much, she is a phsyco. You get mad at Ryan for consoling Jessica, but when you start flirting with Wes it's ok. Get over yourself. She should be locked in a mental institute.

I felt kind of bad for Paige, but then I remembered she's clearly said on the show she's attracted to bad boy types. But she also says she doesn't like guys who play games. Kind of a contradiction there methinks :) Will be interested to see whether or not the cast can put the pieces of the puzzle together in the final 4 matchups. A lot could ride on how many matches they can get out of the truth booth. The reunion special is being filmed today (Saturday) in LA. Cast members mentioning it on twitter.

I just want to note here that ztrigger's calculations on his blog are wrong. I've found viable combos that he doesn't list. Given that I was relying on his calculations in the belief they were seriously narrowing down the possibilities, I will now revert back to my original assessment that the chances of the cast winning the prize is low indeed. For instance we can clearly see from my grid 2 viable combos that include only correct matches so far as F0, G2, H4 and J6: These would include A9, B5, E1, I8 and A5, B8, E1, I9 as the matches not yet attempted. There are probably many more viable combos but it will take forever at this point in time to figure them all out.

I've confirmed now that Ztrigger has made at least one mistake on his blog, and let him know this in his comment section. One of his combos he listed as viable didn't work for matchup 6. Who knows how many other errors he has made??? Again these errors we are making only proves how difficult it is to keep track of all of this. I don't know if his error was a simple data input error or if it's a problem with the computer program he says he wrote.

At any rate, I feel like I've spent enough time trying to work the math on this and will let the remainder of the season play out before doing any more calculations. Will reassess their performance after the finale. There are still 61 possible pairings and tens of thousands of possible combos (8! - those eliminated by 3 truth booths) to work through.

So is this show worth the watch? I heard about it when it was well in progress but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I heard about it when it was well in progress but I've heard nothing but good things about it.[/QUOTE] Its like the baby of The Challenge and The Bachelor (or some dating show of some sort? lol)... make of it what you will. 20 Girls/Guys basically gotta find their "perfect" match in the house... they get like 10 chances to get all 10 pairs correctly matched, but the trick is they can only vote one couple a week into the "truth booth" to determine if they are a definitive pair... at the end of each episode, everyone pairs up with who they think is their love match... they are then told how many are right, but not "which" ones.. So it's definitely challenging.. maybe flawed in some aspects. There is lots of drama/hooking-up/fighting... some interesting partner challenges... it's suuuuper cheesy, but somehow keeps you glued to the screen. Addicting trash... like most reality shows lol

If they don't match 10 out of 10 next episode they are just prolonging the show. Also it is clear that Adam and Shanley are a perfect match also Ethan and Amber are a perfect match by the raw data. [SPOILER]With that knowledge of Adam Shanley; Chris T and Paige; Dillan and Coleysia; Ethan Amber are perfect matches it eliminates a lot of possibilities. If they put John and Jacy in the booth this would give you matches of Ryan and Jessica; Wes and Kayla; Dre and Simone; Joey and Brittany through process of elimination through the match-up ceremony lights and perfect matches. Leaving only John, Jacy, Ashleigh, and Chris S since John and Jacy weren't a perfect match leaving Chris S and Jacy; Ashleigh and John for a perfect 10 out of 10 matches.[/SPOILER] Strategy in the show is to correctly get two perfect truth booth matches and Match 4 or more perfect matches twice in a light ceremony (not exactly the same ones) before the last two truth booths. Then start eliminating non-matches/matches in those ceremony so you don't waste the truth booth on couples you know are a match (this season easy perfect matches to spot Ethan and Amber; Adam and Shanley). The person who said it was an easy way to win $50,000 was right. This group should win by only using 9 out of 10 or 11 truth booths (don't know the exact number of truth booths).

Mark, Thanks for finding the issue in my calculations. It was an input error affecting only Episode 7, which occurred likely because I was live blogging and not checking my work closely. A couple other people on other outlets have independently reached the same conclusion, although I certainly wouldn't mind Mark checking my work more thoroughly.
