They look better than Knight and Jemmye. Come on, WittyWrath.
I don't find this cast drop dead gorgeous. As a whole this cast doesn't look any better than any of the others from the past few seasons minus a few. :)
Even though Knight and Jemmye weren't attractive they made their season. Production told them without them 2 on their season, NOLA probably wouldn't have even aired.
Anyone and everyone can be a "model" these days. The fact is, people like watching beautiful people. And who's to say that pretty people can't have problems too? I know Nany wasn't a "model" but I think she's a good example of someone whom people assumed was cast for her good looks and then turned out to be a main focus of her season.
You just answered your own question, Bananas. Think of it as Jawbreaker.
What people are also failing to to realize is we live in a day and age where a majority of young people are either trying to be a nurse, lawyer, rapper or model there ie not much lee way to it unfortuantely I can say this confidently being 22 and the majority of the people I know are pursuing these feilds and While these people say they are models , I can safely say that without the one photoshoot each castmember has done they are not real models , There is a certain appearance and level of work one must reach to be considered a model IMHO , to which each one of these people fall far from. Now I honestly don't think they took anytime to actually cast this season (I believe tgey had a loxation and Cast Image well into Post-Portland days but I say give them a chance!! let's wait till we see this in motion before we stivk the fork in this season but yes ArW is DEAD sad but true , Although I'm giving this cast a chance I know deep down production did no work to actually find a cast so that shows me exactly how they feel towards TRW.
They are not that ugly its just the fact that this is no longer the real world in name and in real life. Its as simple as that. If people want to be shallow then go ahead and eat that **** up.

Agree to disagree :)
Knight I give you him but Jemmye is not ugly. SO yeah. *gets off his soap box*
(Coming to you from a fan of Jemmye on RW:NO)
Agree. I'm not saying it's a bad thing that they are average looking, as they are two of the (sigh at myself for using this word this way) realest RWer's in recent memory, but they are NOT beautiful people (and I never explicity called them ugly). Interesting and captivating people? Absolutely. But not everyone has to be attractive and they aren't more attractive than the (admittedly edited and therefore not 100 percent accurate) photos of the current cast. That's all I'm saying

lol Ryan Leslie was a star of NOLA season
January or february?
Portland was being filmed around August 2012 (same with this season) and wasn't aired until around April 2013.
Doubt it'll be January or February.

It suppose to aired in January but a lame show name "Washington Heights" took their spot
Edit: by the way portland was aired March 27 not in april
like i said, wasnt aired until around April.
Wheres the source saying Washington Heights "took their spot"?
How do you know WH wasnt already filmed beforehand and wasnt already scheduled to be aired during that time slot before RW?
It seems like MTV takes their time premiering new seasons since they're not in a rush to get them out anymore. I remember a few years ago there would be between 2-3 seasons coming out within the same year.

Washington Heights was pretty cool. I'm not even gonna lie. It was also a show of good content and not pretty white kids with drinking problems like say the last 12 years of TRW and that ******* Tip show coming out soon.
Also he or she said around April. It wasn't an exact date.
I'd rather they take their time to edit it well. Back to San Diego's trailer was already out before they were even done filming and it premiered like two weeks after they stopped filming... and we see how that turned out

Where's the dotted line to cosign? For real though even when they do take their time to edit there's still complaints which is why that argument falls apart.
Posting in this thread because I don't wanna know spoilers...
I'm excited for this new format! I've been wanting them to change it up. I was hoping more along the lines of having them compete for their money...Real World Challenge type of thing. But this Exes thing is going to go over really well I think.

Yeah I guess non spoiler kids can talk in this thread.
WOOOOOOO I'M SO EXCITED. I can't wait. But i'm already annoyed at the Facebook page fans. Typically facebook fans on all shows COMPLAIN ABOUT EVERYTHING. They are never pleased. And this time they complain as well. Last time they were happy was when CT & Wes won the challenge cause they worship CT the ground he walks on. Anyways (getting off topic)
People think this isn't the real world anymore and they're desperate for ratings. Like.. what do you expect? This show is on it's last leg, it's been on for over a decade and it's on its 29th season. They have no choice but to try to switch things up. Shows that last that long will never be the same, just like how Survivor & Big Brother is always adding twists and turns to keep things interesting.
I think this is a fascinating twist. The Real World has always done things to get in the ear's of the cast to spice things up or put in plants (Nia). It's not like The Real World was ever legitimately people living in a house doing things on their own without producers ever having an influence on their daily activities because chances are it'll be boring and the ratings will flop. So yeah i'm supporting this twist & MTV 100%. Hopefully they promote the heck out of this over that Teen Mom and Snooki & Jwow crap. I want this series & The Challenge to last FOREVER :D
I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited! We've needed a change, and let's hope this is the one we've been waiting for! The premise has a lot of potential, the name however...
It's the first time that the cast find out right on the spot they made it on the cast and had to leave to the house just a couple of hours after? I like that idea.
"The season kicks off with the cast finding out they made the show and only have a couple hours to pack and head to the house."

Not entirely original. Brooke and Tyrie and St. Thomas kinda already did that.
But in STT they were already packed & already knew they were cast.
This season they dont know theyre cast until a couple hours before they have to leave

They already knew they were on the cast...This time around they don't until a couple hours of actually leaving to the house.
This season is reminding me more and more of Big Brother, if only for the exes coming in (like that one earlier season of BB) and the fact that they're made aware of their casting only a few hours before they have to leave.
The TRailer is out
