I just noticed that. I think the dynamic of the house may have changed. In the beginning Jay and Arielle was always spotted hanging out together and now it doesn't seem that way since his girlfriend has showed up.

It seems about as contrived as some of the teams on a Exes/Rivals format. The feeling I get from the pictures is that there is a lack of authenticity. How do you call it The Real World when the majority of cast members are model/actors that were recruited? If there is a season 30, they may as well not even open the casting site or accept video submissions.
Maybe, since they know this could be the last season, they wanted to have more people on this season, so that more people are available for the challenges after RW is gone.
Yeah this season is a big *** for me. I'm too confused to care enough. I still say they might as well just renew it for at least season 30 and then call it a day if it's still not doing so hot.
I think this season was cast the way it was to simply get people interested in the show. They got aspiring models and actors because they'll do and reveal the most for screen time. Adding some of the roommates significant others only adds on to the drama aspect of the show. My guess would be that they are using this season to revive The Real World and then they'll go back to their normal casting for other seasons. If you think about it Portland was a good season but San Diego and St. Thomas basically turned away all the viewers. If this season brings back that spark like Back to Las Vegas and they continue with more seasons like Portland and the older seasons the show should be back on track.

Some local posted a Picture partying with Jenna saying she was a cast member.Then after I asked if Jenna was actually a cast member or just a guest. She put her Instagram page on private. She also had a picture Of Arielle and one of the Brunnete girls that one that was spotted with her in the parade her name is "Ashley" too. Maybe that's Arielle's girlfriend?
I am still confuse by this cast, I feel like the significance order will cause more drama.

Uh... Portland was pretty snoozeworthy. There was an episode or two that was interesting but overall it was boring, there was no way that season was gonna help the ratings unfortunately. But I do hope this new "method" of casting they're doing is temporary and only to get the ratings back up.

You can't be serious? It was fantastic. Especially when Nia got there. Had Joi stuck around it would've been boring. Not at Joi necessarily but they all got along while she was there.

Honestly Nia did bring us a few intense moments but overall 1 person cannot carry a season and even with those moments the season was still slow , It was better than the previous 2 which is where I think everyone thinks it was a good season but it was really subpar tbh.

Everyone on this cast except Jamie and Thomas (debatable) were in a relationship , Grey shirt (Cory GF) , Ashley 2 (Arielle GF) , Brian (Jenny BF) and Jenna (Jay GF). Ashley 1 is engaged , At some point everyone's sognificant other lived in that house albait a week- to a month they all got a chance to live in the house and the producers choose who they liked the most to "replace" Ashley (When she left) but if one has met Ashley and lived with Ashley tben they cannot technically be a replacement hence why there is no replacement. This format change may aldo be why 4/7 of the cast is from the state they are filming from , so they can bring the realtionships in and out (most are most likely troubled ) for added drama.

Portland wasn't downright interesting but if it had aired right after Las Vegas the ratings wouldn't be down like they are now. San Diego and St. Thomas didn't bring anything to the table and their promos and trailers quickly turned people away while Portland brought buzz back to the show.

Sounds like a stretch but it also sounds sorry. Where's V1 with his insight? All from the same state because of the format? I doubt that. The show since 2004/2005 had always had sorry casting measures.
