I just really don't see the point in holding hope anymore when they've obviously given up. I see going back to SF as "If we're gonna go out..lets go out on a good note"
Yeah I don't have high hopes. It would be nice if this season does at lease semi-well and knock Portland's ratings out of the park, essentially saving the show for another season or two but I'm skeptical as to whether that'll happen because they do seem like they've given up. More than likely the show will premiere, the ratings will be awful and MTV will do some BS last minute marathon and that'll be it. But then again maybe I'm being too pessimistic.
Nooo, I don't want the real world to end :( I hope it continues. Even if seasons are bad, I can never give up on this show.
Reruns, DVDs...
Where would the reruns be though?
It depends upon who owns them, BMP or MTV. I don't know which it is, and that has baffled me for years. The seasons could be syndicated (assuming they solve the music rights issues) on several available cable channels, Hulu and Netflix.
I have been lurking this site for years now and decided to finally make an account. I am from New Hampshire but next month I'm actually heading to San Francisco for 3 days. I'm staying a mile away from the new location. Has filming started yet? Do we think it will by the 6th? Also, do we have any ideas of restaurants and clubs that are cleared for filming? I will stroll by the house next month and see if anything is going on.
As far as I can tell, the cast was at Vessel (Post & Stockton) and Bootie (11th & Harrison) last night. So there's two for you. More to come, I'm sure...

And she returns with a vengeance! :star:
For so many reasons, BMP and MTV should hire you as a consultant.

They used to show reruns on WB last decade but you're right the rights are split.
And u just want the show. Screw the music. Hell most shows on dvd are like that now anyway
How does molds know this stuff?! Seriously?! Does she live around there, or does she just have awesome connections/super-powers?! :P
mph922, I really hope they go to back to Chicago before it's over. (Why is everyone so convinced it's coming to an end? :( ) I want to see that city. If not for myself, then through others, damnit!
Another one in California? Screw that, I'm baffled that this show is still alive and kicking. I find it so hard to believe they ended shows like Jersey Shore, The Hills, The original Teen Moms, and kept this.

I don't think it's that surprising. Think of how many MTV shows have come and gone since the Real World began. TRW has definitely gone downhill and the ratings reflect that but it's also MTV's flagship show. So while I don't anticipate too many more seasons after this one (personally I'm hoping they at least hit the 30 milestone), I'm not shocked that it's still going at this point. And I still find myself enjoying it while also agreeing that it's declined in quality over the years.

Thanks Molds!

Teen Mom is still on...original or not you know...the hills was fake ****
I think if anything, theyll have the very last season in New York.
Start in New York, end in New York.
Just my 2 cents.
However, im not excited for san fran :(
I was hoping something on the east coast.
Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Wildwood...
something different than the usual.
I can't really put my finger on it but this cast just gives me very strong RW:Hollywood vibes... Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad one, though..
Kind of amazing we're all talking about this show's imminent demise because of ratings when everything looked pretty good just a few seasons back (LV2).
The same could be said of Jersey Shore just a few short season's ago. Where is it now?
Locked in the depths of hell where it belongs.
Nice job, everyone, on finding the location and currently finding the cast!
I'm liking this so far, so I hope it lives up to my standards....course, that's what I said before Portland. -_-
Well this is heartwarming.
PSA for local bars and clubs: If someone contacts you about a visit from a "documentary travel show" doing "low impact filming", don't be conned. It's The Real World, and they are every bit as rude, entitled, intrusive and disruptive as you'd expect. They showed up at Bootie this Saturday and they were a pain in the ***. I really hope we don't end up on the show. That's the kind of publicity I try for us to actively avoid.
Absolutely... you can clearly see that they have been working with the same interior designers on all 3 seasons...
The lack of creativity and innovation is clearly evident..
