It's only for 6 weeks if one lasts until the end. They are kept by production and returned to you when you are eliminated.
Please allow me to answer this one. They are kept by production for the 5 months(Denver). They are then returned PROVIDED PRODUCTION DIDN'T LOSE THEM!
They are then returned PROVIDED PRODUCTION DIDN'T LOSE THEM!
Ouch... What was Jim's excuse for the loss? He always has an excuse.
I didn't know where to post this so I thought this would prob be the right place.
MTV's Susanne Daniels on Future of 'Awkward,' 'Real World,' Scripted Plans "Can I evolve the Real World at this point? The ratings are a little soft on that show. Is it a new show and what is that new show?" the executive tells THR. THR: What's the big question you're asking yourself there? Daniels: Where does The Real World go? Can I evolve the Real World at this point? The ratings are a little soft on that show. Is it a new show and what is that new show? What is the next evolution of Real World? That felt like breakthrough television when it started, much like Cops did. Those are the beginnings of brand new genres on TV. Suzanne Daniels--formerly of Lifetime--that bastion of young adult programming...
Maybe she'll know what she's doing...but we'll probably just be disappointed.
As long as she doesn't become the Dawn/Rebecca *****es from theCW then I'm all for new blood.
Yes, as I forewarned elsewhere within vevmo. Suzanne Daniels--formerly of Lifetime--that bastion of young adult programming...
Actually for once you did. I remember you mentioning it before.
On the list of real world seasons page on Wikipedia it tells you that the location of season 29 is Charlotte North Carolina and it is going to have 8 cast members. Is that true
On the list of real world seasons page on Wikipedia it tells you that the location of season 29 is Charlotte North Carolina and it is going to have 8 cast members. Is that true
no. wiki's page for TRW/RR/TC was respectable at one point before ballinbroken...
This is random but today I was watching something and it occurred to me that Robin Thicke looks exactly like CT.
I can see that resemblance! Also, anyone know who ballinbroken was and what erroneous information they posted?
So I'm going to Sydney at the end of this month and I thought why not visit TRW; Sydney house. So I was just researching where it is and they've demolished it! Slightly devastated. Oh well I'll go anyway to pay my respects.
Hehe. Oh well, lots of other stuff to see in Sydney. We bought a didgeridoo when we went! Haha. No regrets, either. :)My dumb*ss friend and I (we were 11 at the time) also attempted to say "G'day, mate!" to passersby, but they looked at us like we were morons--which we were. Well, only in jest. ;)
The Real World: Charleston? | Holy City Sinner interesting. is this news?
Weird if its charleston, SC. it seems to me like theyre going to be filming during fall/winter if theyre wrapping up casting now.... SC seems like it would be better for a spring/summer season Never been to SC so im not sure if it snows in the winter, but it would definitely be different if they got caught in a blizzard or something while filming.
interesting. is this news?
I wouldn't put this location out of the realm of possibility, especially after getting a Portland season. It's a town with charm and history and MTV is basically looking at its last season unless the ratings trajectory changes (which might mean keep trying new things).
Never been to SC so im not sure if it snows in the winter, but it would definitely be different if they got caught in a blizzard or something while filming.
The weather is generally great during the fall with daily highs staying 70 or warmer through early November. It only averages .4 snowy days a year and .6 inches of snow accumulation per year so I don't think blizzards are going to factored in to the equation should this be the location. Now hurricanes on the other hand.
My parents and brother/sister live in the Charleston area (Summerville to be exact). The weather there is great in the winter! Lots of opportunities there with the Battery, the Market, and Myrtle Beach just down the road (disclaimer: there are sharks in those waters, I can say from experience!). It's sort of a college party town, so lots of potential for a RW season.
I think they should stick em in a backwoods hillbilly town and get people with real world issues to deal with. The partying is overdone and BGC does it better
are they filming right now?
I hope not Charlotte is so random. I threw them a bone with Portland which was my fav recent season. But not here.
I can see that resemblance! Also, anyone know who ballinbroken was and what erroneous information they posted?
He would jump ahead on speculation and make wiki articles without confirmation.
I agree that Charleston is very random. If the show is on it's last limbs it would make sense to go to a much popular city like Atlanta or go somewhere they've previously went like Los Angeles, Miami, or New York.
Sean Sasser, of The Real World, Dies at 44 Sean Sasser, an AIDS activist and The Real World cast member, has died, his friend and fellow cast member, Judd Winick, announced via Twitter Tuesday night. He was 44. "Our friend Sean Sasser has died. Our love goes out to his family & husband Michael. We will miss u so much," Winick Tweeted. Sasser, who was HIV positive, died of mesothelioma, a rare cancer of the lungs, according to his life partner, Michael Kaplan, Dan Renzi of *******, reports. Sasser became known in the early 1990s for his relationship with Pedro Zamora, who starred on The Real World: San Francisco. Their commitment ceremony was one of the first ever televised prior to Zamora's death in 1994. As recently as May, Sasser was working as a pastry chef at RIS restaurant in Washington, D.C., and was interviewed by the Washington Blade, which praised his homemade ice cream and sorbets - his personal favorite was his Meyer's lemon meringue tart with grapefruit tarragon sorbet - and said he was fascinated by cooking since he was young. "I want to serve desserts and pastries that people recognize and love to eat," he told the newspaper, "but sometimes with an unexpected twist of surprise." Yeah I actually posted this in the Where Are They Now"? But now i can't seem to find it.
I was about to say I don't think I've heard of the guy when I realized he wasn't an official cast member of the show
MTV Officials to the Producers: So let's make it more and more clear that we don't give a **** about this show through these kids in SC , Surely The Viewers are going to eat it up. But in all seriousness of all cities in the south really Charleston , over Memphis,Nashville,Dallas,Houston,Atlanta, and Orlando. They are clearly ready to jump ship.
I never heard of a city called Charleston lol they are either poor or dumb
I actually find Charleston to be quite a nice and charming location to move to. Then again, I'm Canadian so I don't know everything about the cities in the U.S. But from what I know about the place, its a quaint seaside city, with beautiful architecture, art, and history. I'd actually much prefer it to be Charleston, over cities like Nashville, Dallas, and Atlanta. None of those are intriguing places to me... personally they don't have that appeal of wanting to visit or live there.
Dallas isn't all that..I've lived in DFW my entire life and started working in Dallas this last semester.. the nightlife is repetitive
I never heard of a city called Charleston lol they are either poor or dumb
It's a premier city in a state that has 50+ billion more GDP than the entire country you are posting from. So I am guessing, South Carolinians are thinking - that poor dumb b*****d.
