This is the generic thread...anything goes as long as it's RW related.
:couple_inlove:
molds13, do you have a timetable in mind for any Portland cast revelations related to the June 26th Challenge premier?
Well if talking about the amount of black people on VH1 is real world related then we might as well discus our favorite planets in the solar system, mines Saturn.
This may be the first time EVER that the bad guys won in anything..movies, TV, whatever...amazing. I gotta give Team San Diego credit for accomplishing that feat. Well, the ******** did win on the Inferno 3...if that counts.

Wow...I had no clue the Real World even existed anymore. I gave up on this show years ago.
Lol okay... Years ago, really? So where did you think they got teams Vegas, San Diego and St Thomas from, thin air?
Check out Toya's podcast with the St. Thomas girls and they don't have good things to say about Jessica.
Name and link please?

Go to 28:54 that's where the interview begins but 46:38 is where the discussion of the Portland cast and Jessica begins.
Dustin and Heather are going to be on the new season of Couples Therapy on VH1...with Flava Flav, a Teen Mom couple and the guy who makes Girls Gone Wild. Godspeed to them.
What are some cities that everyone thinks would be viable for the next real world season. I think a RW: Atlanta would be cool. I would love to be on that season.
Remember when these were the days of roommates actually driving across country to meet each other:

Yes, for you young ones, that is Tami who is now seen on Basketball Wives in her first trip through the Reality TV market. She made the decision to have her abortion during the season so girls could understand how can affect them.
I'd love to have some Dominic commentary on Portland actually.

Top 3 Cities IMHO
1. Pheonix
2. San Antonio
3. Maui
At this point I hope they aren't lazy enough to re-do cities I hope Portland is a step in not only new cities but new states/less featured state that have yet/or only held one to hold the new RW season.

The Phoenix/Scottsdale/Tempe area is actually ideal with Arizona State Univ in residence
They need to leave California alone , They have been there 5 times already.
Agreed. Additionally, with the Phoenix Metro area, you have all 4 major sports represented. Some nights you can go to downtown Phoenix via lightrail from Tempe and choose to see either the Phoenix Suns or the Arizona DBacks play since their respective buildings are less than a quarter mile apart from each other.
Something I noticed after watching RW2: Los Angeles again is they were filmed for 6 months with hour long shows dealing with some tough topics: alleged rape, abortion (yes, that would Tami who is now on Basketball Wives), and having the first person ever to get kicked out of the house.

Speaking of Dominic, whatever happened to him? When the Los Angeles season comes up you hear about everybody else but him and Aaron. The later of which nobody really cared for but it still will be nice to know what he has been up doing.
As for the cross country drive which lead into the second season is what spawned the whole Road Rules series. Good times.

I liked Aaron and Dominic but they both just hated the entire thing--at least that's my understanding. Why didn't people care for Aaron? I thought he was likable unlike most of that cast.

Aaron really just got turned off to the show and he kind of disappeared into the background once his gf left. I think Dominic just got burned out after Tami got David kicked out for legit reasons and then Irene, the most stable influence in the house, left when she got married.
I admit to missing Dom more than Aaron.
Thoughts on these places?
1. Nashville
2. Barcelona
3. Rome
4. Charlotte
5. Tampa
I don't think they would go international if the show is having trouble. The most interesting of those would be Nashville to me but I cannot be certain MTV would want to go country.
Off topic but would it be possible to have this sub-forum moved to just below the Portland one and not close to the bottom of the page? This is clearly the second most active of the Real World sub-forums and would make things easier to navigate if it was closer to the top.
The last 3 in the US were Vegas, San Diego and Portland...time to come East. Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Nashville, etc.
St.Thomas is a us island it's just not considered a state
The four biggest cities in te US they haven't done are Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and Minneapolis are the biggest cities that have yet to be done. I have a feeling season 30, if done, will be a return to San Francisco. I think Atlanta or Minneapolis seems reasonable, especially considering the fact that they are not on the coasts at all.

Actually, according to the US Census, Dallas is the #4 largest followed by Phoenix, Houston, then Philly, then Atlanta if you go by population density. Houston is on the coast more or less. Dallas and Phoenix are not. Given the weather in Phoenix you could actually do a show all year round if they wanted to.
^Haha, that would be true. I should have clarified what I was going off by. I was going by Alpha/Beta/Gamma cities and their roles/influences in the global economy. My bad!
